Chapter 3: System (Part 2)
"Next up is the Inventory?"
Homura opened his backpack with an expression that said 'as expected' and remarked.
"As expected, it's empty."
Looking at the 20 slots of his inventory, Homura pondered.
"This should be able to function as a portable space or storage ring, right? Maybe I can even use it for magic?"
"Let's try it out!"
Surveying his surroundings, Homura decided to test it out with something.
"You'll do!"
Looking at the chair in front of his desk, he concentrated and thought.
'Collect!'
Nothing happened, and Homura felt a little embarrassed.
"Did I do it wrong?"
He walked up to the chair, placed his hand on it, and thought.
'Collect!'
The chair disappeared, and Homura's face remained expressionless, but his slightly clenched fists betrayed his lack of calm.
'Do I have to touch it to store it...?'
Homura thought for a moment, looked at the chair in his inventory, and concentrated while "Click" on the chair.
"Oh! Seeing this scene, it's really hard to imagine!"
Homura exclaimed as he looked at the chair that had appeared in his hand.
"What's next?"
The Store? Or is it still unavailable?
Like the System settings, the Store is also unavailable. Homura scratched his head and looked troubled.
"Sigh, I hope there is a way to solve this."
Next up are only two things left, those should be Pets and the Mission Log... why did he use "should"?
"Has the Mission Log changed?"
Homura muttered as he looked at the unusable pet inventory and the different-looking Mission Log.
"I've gotten used to it, let's see what kind of changes the mission has!"
When he clicked on the flashing icon, something different appeared. There were actually multiple pages, with "Mission Log" and "System Log"

"!!!"
Homura was dumbfounded!
What kind of godlike log was this?!
"Damn! I have absolutely no idea how to describe my feelings right now!"
It's understandable that anyone who experienced such a major event would find it difficult to control themselves.
Regaining his senses, Homura carefully pondered the System Log's records.
"So, this is the reason why I transmigrated!"
Homura sighed with emotion, clenched his fist, and focused his attention back on the System prompt.
"Then, what is this Unknown Energy?"
Could it be space-time energy or some kind of primordial energy?
"It should be, I feel that only this type of energy could cause such miraculous changes to the game System."
Homura affirmed.
"Only this kind of energy could allow me to transmigrate to a new world!"
Walking to the bed and sitting down, Homura continued to contemplate.
Looking at the System Log of [Player Homura is Exposed to Unknown Energy Radiation], Homura became a bit puzzled. Was this energy radiation exposed to him the same one that got absorbed by the System?
Homura thought it was possible, after all, the System was bound to him, so it made sense.
But...it was also possible that he was radiated by different energy during the transmigration process.
"Why think so much!"
Homura temporarily gave up researching his unknown talent.
"I feel that I'm okay, there shouldn't be any negative effects, and even though this System has the potential to make me stronger in all aspects, I still need to find a way to learn skills!"
Through searching online, Homura realized that this was just a modern urban world where there were no mysterious powers. It was impossible to learn such things or gain any advantage from them.
"Although this Tai Chi looks quite 'mysterious'..."
Homura couldn't help but make a sarcastic comment. The Tai Chi seemed to be full of loopholes.
After making the comment, Homura felt refreshed and calm. He began to contemplate what he should do next.
He opened the mission panel and looked at his mission, Become a Master in the ACGN Field. He also opened his skills panel.
Looking at his many skills, Homura was a bit confused.
"I can understand why I have a Level 6 in Programming because of my experience in my past life. But why do I have Level 3 and 2 skills in hobbies and yet Level 4 in Cooking... Do I really like to study food that much?"
"Anyway, I should add some skill points," he said, preparing to do so.
"If the ultimate mission is like this, then I should level up my Writing and Comic skills first!"
[Life Skills]: Comic LV2 → LV9 (cannot be upgraded, upgrade conditions unknown), Writing LV2 → LV9 (cannot be upgraded, upgrade conditions unknown), Reasoning LV0
(Details of the skills can be found by clicking on them.)
[Skill Points]: 6

"...What the hell is going on?"
Homura looked confused. He could max out his skills when playing games, so was this because this wasn't a game but reality?
After carefully sensing his new abilities, he realized that adding points to his skills was no problem, but to level up to the maximum, he needed to fulfill some special conditions.
"Wait a minute?!"
Something didn't feel right, and Homura noticed a problem.
"Reasoning?! When did these skills become available?"
Could it be...because he analyzed and guessed a lot of things, he created these skills by himself?
"Maybe?" Homura wasn't sure, but he felt it was the most reasonable explanation.
"So this is how you get skills..."
Feeling pleased that he had figured out the method of obtaining skills, Homura's mood improved.
"Hey, this System is quite user-friendly."
After admiring it for a while, Homura decided to test the effectiveness of his skills and see what level he could reach.
Standing up and preparing to look for paper and pen, he suddenly heard a voice coming from the ceiling.
*Thud! Thud!*
"Okay, I heard you! I'll go cook!" Homura reflexively replied.
How proficient he was! Without hundreds or thousands of times of experience, how could such an instant reflex form?
Who could it be upstairs?
