The Messenger of Death

"I don't know how to use telekinesis. How do I learn?" Alex asked. Al was also eager to know, to the extent that he almost asked Alex to switch with him again but his pride couldn't take that hit at the moment. So he chose to stay back and listen attentively to whatever Nana was going to say.

Even Xander and Lex were eager to learn telekinesis.

"I know that you don't know how to use it, that's why I got this book for you. You will use this to practice. Although not everybody can use telekinesis at the early stages of their cultivation, only the talented ones. I believe that you should be able to do it." Nana walked around Alex once then stopped in front of him.

"Okay, so how am I supposed to do that?"

"Since you have paid for my service, I have to make sure that I give you a pleasant learning experience. You are to use your telekinesis abilities to prevent this book from touching you." She let go of the book in her hand and it levitated.

"How am I supposed to do that when I don't even know how to use-"

-Thud!

"Arrghh!!" He cried out as the book hit his nose. "Why did you do that!?" He spoke through his nose and placed his hand on his nose as water started to form in his eyes.

"Weren't you listening to what I said previously? Stop the book from hitting you. Telekinesis is born from willpower, will it and it shall be. Again!" Nana smirked as she sent the book to Alex once more.

Alex had just removed his hand from his nose and noticed that the book was coming for him again, still aiming for his nose.

He got ready to dodge but unexpectedly, he couldn't move his limbs. His body stood erect with his arms locked by his sides.

"No, no, no. No cheating Alexander, if you want to stop the book from hitting you, you have to use telekinesis." Nana had used her telekinesis to restrain Alex.

-Thud!!

As soon as the book hit his nose again she set him free from her restraint.

"Arrghh!!! F*ck!!" He exclaimed.

"No shouting or cursing in the library, if you keep on breaking the rules I might just help you learn faster by using 2 books." She restrained him again after threatening him.

['This crazy woman!! My previous injuries still haven't healed and she's adding more.'] Alex thought.

['B*tch, not the face!!! not the face!!!'] Al cried out.

The book was approaching Alex's nose once more.

-Thud!!

"Argh-" He forced his mouth shut and stuck to groaning and grunting. He didn't want Nana to add another book. She repeated the process several times till Alex couldn't take it anymore.

"Time out, time out." He said quickly before she could restrain him again.

"What? You don't want me to teach you again?" She had an innocent expression on her face.

['You better stay till you learn how to use telekinesis, cause the b*tch already collected our money. She can't have the last laugh… but my face, ahh my beautiful face.'] Al was confused about what decision to make.

['Make your freaking mind up.'] Alex said to Al.

['Alex, do you want to switch with either me or Lex so that we can give it a try?'] Xander asked.

['Yeah, we are also eager to learn this.'] Lex spoke up.

['Hey! What about me!? What happened to Al!!?'] Al started to rant. He too wanted to give it a try, he had high hopes that if he did, he would be able to use telekinesis before Alex can.

['You had your chance.'] Xander stated.

['But-']

['No, I'm not switching. I have already started, I will complete it.'] Alex interrupted before Al could say what he wanted to say.

He returned his attention to Nana.

"Not that's not it. I was just wondering if there was another way to learn how to use telekinesis, apart from this barbaric technique that you're using on me." He said while he was blinking away the tears in his eyes.

"No, there are no other ways that are as quick and effective as this."

"You mean to tell me that you awakened your telekinesis with this method!?"

"First, I said no shouting. And second, no. I stumbled upon telekinesis, I woke up one morning and was able to use it the same way I use my hands." Nana boasted.

"What cultivation realm are you in, Nana?" Alex got curious.

"That's none of your business, darling." She mentioned and restrained Alex again.

"Since you think that my method is barbaric, I guess there's no harm in making it so." After she said that, another brown hard-cover book as thick as the first one, flew to where they were and levitated beside the book that had been used to hit Alex."

"No, no. I didn't mean to say barbaric I meant unrefined." He quickly said, trying to make Nana change her mind.

"Oh my, unrefined? Let me make it refined then." Another brown hard-cover book joined the 2 that were already levitating not too far away from where Alex was.

"No, that's-"

Nana placed a finger on her lips and Alex's lips couldn't move again.

"HMMM!! UHHUHHMM!!" He made loud muffled sounds.

-Thud!

The first book flew over and hit his nose. A little line of blood trickled down his nose.

-Thud!

"AHH!!" Muffled sounds filled the silent library as the second book hit the right side of his ribs.

-Thud!!

"OOHH!!" The third one made Alex's eyes open wide.

The book had hit him on his balls. Nana released him from her restraint and the first thing he did was to put his hands on his nether region and fall to his knees silently.

"Ohh, I guess that was a bit too much, hope they are alright?"

He ignored her and stayed on his knees for a while. When the pain from his balls started to subside, he finally let go of the air that he had sucked in before he fell to his knees.

"Seriously, this isn't teaching anymore! This is abuse!!" He said furiously and got up. "I paid you to teach me, not make me impotent." Alex turned and started to walk away.

"Where are you going?" Nana asked.

"Somewhere else I can learn the basics."

"Have you forgotten so soon? I said that the lesson cannot end until I have finished teaching you about the basics."

Nana restrained him before he could take another step. She brought his body back to where he stood previously.

"Again." She flashed a smile at Alex's fear-stricken face.

-Thud! Thud!! Thud!!!

Alex suffered over and over again till Nana decided to let him go so he could take a short break. Alex fell to his knees for the umpteenth time.

"Are you even trying? You are just hoping that I get tired and let you go. I said, will it and it shall be." Nana was starting to get frustrated with Alex's attitude towards her lesson.

"I can't. You say that I should will it and I did but nothing happened. You also said that not all people are able to use this ability at the early stages of their cultivation, perhaps I am not that talented." Alex stated. He was tired of getting his balls hit by the hard-cover book.

"You can. When I say will, I don't mean you should just want it. I mean you should command it, make it do as you want. If you don't do anything about it, I might really make you impotent." Nana explained.

"Again." She restrained him and brought him to his feet.

"This time, I will only aim for those balls down there. The force of the latter will be harder than the former. If you want to save your potency, then you should try to stop the books yourself." Nana uttered with a neutral expression on her face.

Alex couldn't tell if she meant it or if it was just a threat. The 3 hard-cover books lined up, one in front of the other, and aimed for his balls. Alex's eyes were wide open now…

-Thud!

The first book charged at his balls and it connected.

-Thud!

The second book did the same and the pain he felt was worse than the ones he had been experiencing since Nana started her unorthodox method of teaching. Alex knew that if he didn't do anything, the force from the third one might make him impotent.

The third book charged at him.

['Do something, Alex!! I can't have erectile issues!!'] Al cried out.

['Stop.'] He thought, trying to make the book stop. But unfortunately, it didn't.

['Stop!']

The book still approached him.

['Stop!!! Goddamn it!'] He shouted in his mind and the book stopped a few yards away from him.

"Bravo!! Bravo!" Nana cheered.

Alex only looked at Nana like she was crazy, now he understood why the students in the school called her a witch and a psychopath.

"See, I told you that you could do it. Now let's find out how strong it is." 

['Huh?'] Alex wondered what she meant by that. He started to feel an invisible force push the book closer to his balls. The more powerful the force was the more pain Alex felt in his head.

['This crazy b*tch!!'] Al cursed.
