['Okay. Should I do anything to save the pale team member of ours?']

['If you can do it without attracting their unwanted attention towards us, then yeah go ahead.'] Xander said.

['Sure.']

['Don't do anything foolish.'] Alex cautioned.

['Relax rabbit, I am not as impulsive as you are.']

"System, replay the last 2 hours for me," Al uttered lightly, it was audible enough for only him and the system to hear.

*Preparing the footage, playing the video now.

The video started from before it was his turn to report what he had gone through in the forest.

"Fast forward a bit."

The system did as he ordered.

"There, play at normal speed." The place he was now, was after Vincent had snapped at him. Just right before Tsukishima spoke up. "System analyze the voice of the person speaking now and modulate whatever I say to sound like his voice."

*Analyzing, please wait a moment.

-Ping!

*Analysis complete. Preparing for modulation. 3, 2, 1.

"Ganging up on a student doesn't seem to be a fair fight," Al spoke up, his voice sounded like that of Tsukishima. Without seeing the person that was talking, they all know who the voice belonged to.

"Teacher Tsukishima? What are you doing here?" Duna questioned.

"Do you think you have the right to know what my objectives are, you foolish kid? I am here because I chose to be here." Al replied.

"Ah no, I didn't mean it like that. I am sorry for disrespecting you, sir." Duna quickly said.

"I give you and your underlings 5 seconds to leave this place, and if you are not gone by the time I finish counting down then I will kick your balls so hard they will reach your throat. Do you understand?" Al threatened.

['Hey, I don't think that is something Tsukishima would say.'] Alex mentioned.

['Well, the damage has already been done.'] Al replied.

"C'mon, let's leave here." One of Duna's underlings urged and started to scurry away.

"I understand, I will be taking my leave now." Duna forced the words out of his mouth.

"This isn't over Drake." Duna gave him one last look before he chased after the underlings that left him behind.

['Now what?'] Alex asked.

['Nothing else. I have helped him enough, he should find the strength to get up on his own. I would be heading for the guest inn now, we need to get started on that poison as soon as possible. The fact that some certain people are still breathing is driving me nuts…']

Al continued to retrace his steps right until he was back on the right track to the inn.

15 minutes later, he stood at the entrance of the guest inn and pushed the familiar doors open.

"Welcome back, VIP customer." The steward that had always been by the door's side whenever Alex had passed by it, greeted Al as soon as he stepped in. Al nodded his head in response.

-Fwweett!!

Xiao En, the receptionist whistled when her gaze came upon Al.

"Hahaha, you must have been roughed up badly." She couldn't stop herself from laughing at Al's appearance.

"Tell me, who did this to you? I need to find them and thank them, then beat them up for not beating you up properly." She ran her eyes over Al's body, from his head to his toes.

Al smirked at her. "Don't worry, they are already dead. But maybe you can come up to my room later on when you are free, and maybe help me change my bandages." He winked at her.

['Are you kidding me? Why the hell will you be flirting with that tigress? Are trying to make her pounce on us?'] Alex questioned.

Xiao En was in a daze after Al's words reached her ears. At first, she was confused, then it took her a few seconds to properly process what he said. When she finally realized what he was talking about, her playful demeanor disappeared and a crazy one replaced it.

['Fear not rabbit, the steward will stop her before she would be able to touch me.'] He had already passed by the receptionist place when Xiao En was still in the early seconds of her daze.

"You stupid kid, do you think that I would ever do anything like that with you!? After I break every tooth in your mouth and make sure that you swallow them, I will make sure that you forever be impotent." Xiao En threatened and charge at Al.

When she was only a few inches away from Al, the steward appeared, just like Al expected. He held Xiao En back. "Honored customer, please forgive the poor hospitality from this receptionist of ours."

Al smirked at Xiao En, then he brought his tongue out and mocked her a bit before he laughed and left for his room.

"He even mocked me. Is this how low I have fallen?" Xiao En's demeanor changed from being crazy to being depressed…

Al opened the door to his suite and stepped in. the familiar but still mesmerizing design of the suite had him looking around again.

['Worth the large amount of money you spent on it, rabbit. But next time, don't throw away our money.']

['You are wasting your time trying to talk me out of spending Al.']

['Is was worth trying.']

"Alex, you are back," Katherine called out.

['Huh, What are they doing here? I don't remember inviting them here.'] Alex wondered.

['Who cares, there are girls here, that's all that matter.']

Katherine had started to approach Al when he started walking towards her. She stopped approaching him when he was only a few yards away from her.

"Alex?" She called out. Al didn't stop going closer to her. She started to take steps backward and Al continued going after her.

-Thud.

Katherine's back was against the wall of the living room now. "What's wrong Alex?" Camron asked as he stood up from the chair he was sitting on.

Al was in close proximity with Katherine now, so close that his chest was up against hers.

She had to put her hands on his chest to push him back, but unfortunately for her, she couldn't muster the strength to do that properly. A rank-4 nascent realm cultivator struggling to push a rank-3 cultivator of the same realm, back.

He held her wrist in his palms and raised her hands. Al planted her hand on the wall and kept it in place with one of his hands. Al was a head taller than she was.

"You said that you like me, right?" Al licked his lips and brought his face closer to hers then stared into her eyes.

Katherine started to blush, unable to understand what Al's motives were and why she couldn't muster the strength to push him back. With Al's face just inches away from hers, she started to feel hot and giddy.

['You stupid mutt, what are you doing?'] Alex screamed at him.

['What does it look like, rabbit? Don't forget, we made a bet and I won. I am allowed to do whatever I want for the rest of the day. Now don't distract me.'] Al dismissed Alex.

"Ye-yes, I did. I mean I do." Katherine answered. Her eyes were getting moist as she stared into Al's chestnut brown eyes.

"Your eyes are beautiful." She thought out loud.

"I know, what about me isn't beautiful." Al touched his nose with hers. Katherine could feel the warmth of Al's breath on her lips and her knees were beginning to get weak.

"What are you doing?!" Emma screamed out, feeling embarrassed that she was subjected to watching this kind of scene.

"This got hot quickly," Adrian whispered and smiled as he watched, waiting to see Al's next move.

Al placed his free hand on her waist and brought her lower body closer to him.

Katherine closed her eyes and parted her lips. Her heart was beating fast, she was too embarrassed with the way everything was playing out but she also welcomed what was happening.

['Stop right there you mutt!! Guys say something, stop him.'] Alex urged his alters.

['Sorry Alex, I won't intervene in this. You made a bet with him.'] Lex refused to help.

['Same here.'] Xander said.

['Sh*t, Al, hold yourself back!!']

['And why should I do that?'] Al questioned.

['Because... I don't like Katherine.']

['Oh, tell me who you like and I'll go for her.']

['Sheila…']

Al stopped what he was doing, his lips were only inches away from Katherine's. Alex's comment turned him down.

Katherine had been anticipating Al's lips when she felt that his grip on her hands was getting lose, she opened her eyes. The spark that was in Al's eyes previously had gone.

He let go of her waist and her hands and stepped back.

['You just had to…'] Al sighed.

"What's wrong?" Katherine asked. She was bummed out that what she had been anticipating didn't happen.

"Oh, it's nothing. I just wanted to confirm if you like me or if you were just kidding." Al flashed an innocent smile at her.

"What?" Katherine froze where she was. After a little while she raised her hands and used it to cover her face, she then squatted down. Trying to rid herself of the shameful feeling she was experiencing at the moment.
