Chapter 27 - Burning the Entire Building!
Chapter 27: Burning the Entire Building!
Chu He turned his head and looked at Jack and Roosevelt. He said very calmly, “Leave this to me, take those people and leave.”
He was talking about the streamers who had fainted in the corner.
Jack and Roosevelt could not provide much help against this great demonic creature. Chu He was confident that he could handle it alone.
Especially when the magic auras of Jack and Roosevelt were in disorder, it was clear that they had suffered quite a serious injury. They would not be of any help if they continued staying here, but only act as a burden to Chu He.
Jack and Roosevelt nodded upon hearing these words.
They walked to the corner and carried two unconscious streamers each.
When he passed Chu He, Roosevelt reminded him softly, “This demonic creature is very powerful. You have to be careful.”
“He can summon many clones so that you can’t tell which one is real. Also, these clones have combat power. Once they touch you, your body will corrode.”
After hearing that, Chu He nodded.
“Let’s go.”
Jack and Roosevelt did not stay any longer. They carried the streamers down the stairs and soon arrived outside the dormitory.
Bruce and Alice were waiting at the door when they suddenly saw the Captain and the expert from the Magic Investigation Bureau escaping in a very sorry state. Their eyes widened in surprise.
“Captain… are you guys okay?” Bruce asked very worriedly.
“It’s not life-threatening, but these two arms will be troublesome to heal.”
Roosevelt extended his arms. The corrosion of the power of black magic was getting more and more serious. Now, both of his arms had turned black and were emitting a pungent rotten smell.
If he did not receive immediate treatment, he might have to amputate his arms to survive.
After throwing the streamers onto the ground, Roosevelt and Jack were finally able to catch their breath.
“Is the demonic creature in this dormitory so powerful?” Light flickered in Alice’s eyes as she wondered.
Although she and Bruce were both Advanced Mages, there were also differences in power among Advanced Mages. For example, Jack and Roosevelt were both experts among Advanced Mages.
This was especially true for Roosevelt, he was a variant Metal Mage whose combat ability was extremely high!
If the two of them joined forces, they would be able to put up a fight even if they encountered a Great Mage. Yet, they were defeated here?
Jack shook his head and sighed, “The strength of the demonic creature here is beyond our imagination. Our only hope now is Apollo.”
…
At the same time, on the top floor of the dormitory.
Chu He stood in the corridor and looked around with a smile, taunting, “Stop hiding. Come out. It’s useless for you to hide like this.”
“Cunning human, you actually want to trick me to come out?” The cold voice was filled with hatred as it echoed in the corridor.
“I know you’re strong.” The demonic creature sneered.
When Chu He came out of the staircase, it had already sensed that this human was very powerful, enough to threaten its life!
“You may be strong, but as long as I don’t come out, you can’t do anything to me.” The demonic creature said hatefully.
It was already somewhat angry. Just now, Jack and Roosevelt were about to die at its hands, but they were ultimately saved by Chu He.
Otherwise, it would be able to complete the advancement faster after devouring these two Advanced Mages, and it would also be able to leave this dormitory building.
“I can’t do anything to you?” After Chu He heard that, he laughed and retorted.
This demonic creature actually said that he could not do anything to it. That was truly an underestimation.
In Chu He’s body, the power of the fire cells began to circulate. A hot wave of fire surged from his body and quickly filled the entire corridor.
The flames grew stronger, and the temperature exceeded 1500 degrees.
Chu He’s idea was very simple. Since this demonic creature refused to come out, he only needed to think of a way to force it to appear.
Back in the chip factory, the Ember Demon was connected to the entire factory. As long as the factory was not destroyed, it would not die.
According to Chu He’s guess, the demonic creature in front of him was the same.
It was very likely that the demonic creature was linked to this dormitory.
Even if it was not, there must be a very close connection between the two.
Then, as long as Chu He destroyed the entire dormitory building, this demonic creature would definitely reveal its true body.
As for the cost of destroying the entire building, it was nothing compared to eliminating this demonic creature.
Even if Chu He burned the dormitory building to a crisp, the Magical Investigation Unit would settle the consequences for him.
It was just a normal building, so doing that was nothing for the mage organization.
As the flames spread and burned, the power of the black magic attached to the walls quickly weakened. Streams of black gas were released from the walls.
The entire building was melting under the high temperature.
“You’re courting death!” A furious roar came from the depths of the corridor.
Chu He smiled. Indeed, he had guessed right.
As he tried to destroy the building, the demonic creature grew anxious and angry. This seemed to have hit its sore spot.
Streams of black aura whistled through the corridor, seemingly wanting to extinguish the flames.
But how could Chu He’s flames be extinguished so easily?
Chu He was determined to force this demonic creature out, especially now that he knew it had a close connection to the entire dormitory building.
He wanted to see which was stronger, his flames or this demonic creature.
How far had he grown?
Chu He slowly closed his eyes and activated the fire cells in his body to the limit!
In an instant, the intensity of the flames skyrocketed!
The temperature rose to an astonishing 2000 degrees!
