Chapter 73
"hmm…."
He stared at the slumbering fairies, floating around the tomb. Their tiny figure sparkling and raging with mana. From far away, he thought of them as some form of lights but with the white light brightening up all the space, it was now finally clear. The white titanium walls, the golden woven fairies, and the titanium casket in the middle.
His finger came closer to the fairies, poking them on their head. He didn't know what trouble he would create doing such a thing but as always his curiosity took over touching all over the female fairy, whose eyes were still closed.
"They aren't waking up, are they?"
He touched her blond hair, her soft face. Her white armor also looked like it was made from titanium and also felt her tiny legs.
"I feel like I'm playing with some toys, No…don't be like others. They are also living beings."
Somehow as he stared at their miniature bodies. He felt more and more superior against them. It wasn't because of the size difference but….. It was hard to explain. His inner self struggling to accept them at his level.
The moment he thought of them as living beings who followed the same rights as his. His own blood turmoil in disgust. His body trying to follow its instinctual behavior to show its superiority. He was resisting his urges as much as he could when his mind clicked, this feeling, He was familiar with this impulse, the impulse to dominate. It was the same familiar feeling when he viewed ants and all the lower lifeforms in his world.
Back then, He didn't have any pity for the insects buzzing around him. He didn't care about the meat on his table. He cared about some animals but his sense of superiority was still there. No matter how cute and adorable some animals were. His mind and body didn't accept it to consider them to his equal.
This thought process, the mindset, is ingrained in all humans living as the apex of all life forms for years and years. He now somehow understood. In this world. How the mentality of all humans came to be. In this world, humans have been living as the most powerful race among all the others for centuries and centuries.
"haa….so, this is some kind of human heritage, ingrained in our human blood. I can control the urge a bit but…..I guess others won't even try."
His heart tighten realizing the harsh truth, the treatment humans give to other species. The instinct of disgust, deeply rooted in all humans.
He gazed upon the Fairy in front of him in pity. How it had the misfortune to appear in human society and got turned into a slave.
"Can I at least break their slavery?"

"I see, that's why they didn't try attacking me….."
With his Advance "all-seer" he looked deep within, trying to gaze upon the source of mana of every living being, the soul itself. It was not easy to just view inside, he cut out everything from his vision, her inner structure, her organs, her bones. Only leaving her mana.
After many minutes, his "all-seer" could finally visualize the structure of her mana coursing throughout the body. It was his first time doing such a thing to an intelligent life form. He had experimented on many animals and monsters but never on a fellow human.
He would if they wouldn't mind him peaking inside their body but he never got the chance to do so.
But now with the right opportunity, he could now perceive the shape of a soul, in mana form nonetheless.
"It's beautiful..."
He stared at her soul for many minutes, it was like gazing at the sky with many stars, clutched together, shaping inside like a galaxy but all in bright golden shades.
After having his fill, glaring at the small starry figure. He didn't want to lose more time as both Lily and John were still waiting outside, waiting for his signal to open the gate.
So without further ado, he properly gazed upon the mana-filled soul, to differentiate any foreign mana mixed in, and with time he eventually found them, lane symbols binding her mana where her brain and heart once was. He gazed closer, magnifying his vision deeper at the flow and patterns of all the lane symbols.
"This is more complicated than I thought…." He said, his hand scratching on his silver hair.
"I don't have time to study this, this is clearly done by some lane symbol expert…..system, scan all the lane symbol patterns…."
[Scanning…..
Estimate time: 1 hour 56 minutes….]
He slapped his forehead, sighing at the time taken just to scan the patterns. He didn't want to miss this opportunity but he was on a mission here, with two others in tow. He properly stood up, shutting his scan.
"First the tomb….I will think about you later…"
He bypassed all the fairies. Pacing near the tomb, with no patience left, he pushed the Titanium cover, the heavy metal not even moving a single millimeter. He put more strength into his hands. His 'A' grade strength is in full power.
"fuck!! It didn't even budge." He complained.
He back down, his hand on his chin, feeling his mask. He racked his brain for a second when realized his mistake instantly.
"haa….why am I an idiot sometimes.."
He sighed, coming closer, his two black stars now visible in his palm. He placed his hand on top of it and as he guessed. The casket observed some mana from all the fairies and The cover finally moved, puffing out white mist, forcing Atlas to take a step back.
"What is it? What is it? Come on what is it? Is it just a tomb grave of some ancient human or something else? …" he questioned, his impatience clearly expressed.
The lead finally opened, the white mist spreading everywhere. Atlas came closer, pushing all the mist with a flick of his finger. His curious mind itching to see and to behold, there it was. The opened casket.
The very casket, which the guild clearly wanted to protect, and the mysterious All-father who wanted to it be fully destroyed, sacrificing the many lives of innocent people living in this city.
"hmm..."
He stared at what was within.
"it was just a dead old man, well that is boring….shouldn't there be something like an old book or artifact near this old sack of a body."
Disappointed, he searched around, patting his, dusty old fashion clothes. His pockets. His fingers and his neck.
"This man's dry, what the hell? Is this supposed to be the casket of an honorary respected individual or something, with no fucking stuff to boot? Lily you fucking liar….ha….well at least I will be promoted and John will get his medicine."
He used his space symbol to observe the casket to his system storage. He didn't want to place what the guild so cared about in his storage ring. If the ring was somehow lost or broken. He would be fucked, really fucked.
Before he realized it. His mana from his space symbol was instantly observed by the dead bones, its hollow eyes shining with purple light. Its hand came back to life, gripping Atlas's hand, surprising him.
"What the fu…!!"
{GO TO YOUR BEGINNING!!}
Hearing those words inside his head. He felt something pulling his soul to the depths of his own self, everything around him gradually turning dark, slowly losing his control over his own body, His body flopped down like a lifeless figure. The skeleton hand is still in hand with his.

John slowly opened his eyes, his vision blurry as he just woke up, he blinked twice and slightly rubbed it off with his hand. His vision is a bit clear. He gazed at the ceiling, feeling a bit surprised as the ceiling wasn't of his own room, so he tried standing up, when suddenly a sharp pain attacked his chest, forcing him to cough.
"Don't stand up, you still need to heal."
He heard a familiar warm voice from his side. Her soft voice calming him down and right after a warm sensation welled upon his chest, deeming down his pain. He turned to her. Her white hair covered by her gown slightly covering her kind white eyes and her caring smile telling him not to worry.
"When did you arrived….. Big sis Amelia?"
