Congratulations, Quest Complete!!
You have successfully slain the Demons that had taken over your high school before they regained their power and slaughtered you all. And be honest with yourself. You would be dead right now if they had been at full power. The remaining imps have fled the school and surrendered it to you.
You have successfully claimed ownership over the settlement (Hopkins High School). You have gained the following benefits.
You have gained access to (Hopkins High School's settlement seed and may use it to control, upgrade, and modify your new settlement.
You may now form your own guild/kingdom/faction.
As the owner of the (Hopkins High School settlement, you may grant your subjects access to the (Squire, Apprentice, Pupile, Trainee, Devotee, and Student) Classes even if they don't meet the qualifications.
Tom watched as a white eight-sided crystal the size of his head formed over the demon's corpse. Scrambling up the demon lord's dead body, Tom reached out and grabbed the settlement seed.
They had done it. They had a home—a base.
"That was fucking awesome!!" Abaddon roared as he held up the Demon lord's severed head.
"You died." Tom pointed out bluntly.
"I got better," Abaddon countered. "No, I got better than better. I got [Second Stage]."
"I noticed. Thanks for giving me a panic attack. By the way, I was worried you died. Nice pick, by the way." Tom said
[Second Stage] was one of those skills that seemed designed to piss people off. It resurrected a person after they died and then doubled your attributes. It was a pain in the ass to deal with as killing your opponent became little more than the warm-up. Unfortunately, it also meant Abaddon had to give up the only two skills in the entire game that could restore his stamina.
"Skippy, could you go and bring Chloe and the rest of them in … Skippy?" Tom looked around, finding Skippy passed out on the floor. Tom quickly checked the party interface as he dumped another healing spell on his friend. Fortunately, he wasn't injured. His stamina had just bottomed out. He let out a sigh of relief before getting annoyed.
"God dammit skippy. Alex!!" He called out.
"What?!" she called back down to them from up on the second floor.
"I need you to go and get Chloe and bring her in!!!" he called up to her.
"On it!!" she called down as she raced off to the front door.
"Abaddon, take care of Skippy. I'm going to set up the base."
Abaddon slung Skippy's unconscious body over his shoulder as Tom activated the settlement seed.
DING!!!
Welcome to the Settlement Interface
You have claimed the Level 1 Settlement (Hopkins High School). You have taken your first step to building your kingdom; please select a name for your faction: __________
Tom typed in the name Awoken Myths without a second thought before adding everyone in his party, including Chloe, as part of the faction. He placed himself as the Primary Administrator and gave admin rights to Alex, Skippy, and Abaddon. They wouldn't be playing around with this stuff as much as he would be, but that was fine.
DING!!!
Welcome Awoken Myths
You have 100 Settlement points to spend. Would you like to spend them?
DING!!!
New Title: Awoken Myths
You have joined one of the first factions of the new world. The Awoken Myths guild prides itself on excellence above all else.
+1 Skill point
DING!!!
New Title: Guild Master
As the only member of your party with a leadership-type class, you are now the guild master of Awoken Myths by default. However, this title is contingent on your remaining the guild leader. All people in your personal party will share xp equally.
+1 Skill point
Skill upgrade: [Tactical Leader] - Uncommon → [Nascent Guild Leader] - Rare
[Nascent Guild Leader] - Epic: you are the leader of a Nascent Guild. You can create a party of 6 people per skill level to hunt, raid bosses, or lead your men into battle.
Tom immediately selected yes and got to work, giving their new home the bare minimum amount of upgrades.
DING!!!
You have Purchased Monster Repellent Ⅴ for 15 Settlement points
Level 50 Monsters and below won't come within 25 meters of the boundaries of your territory.

Level 30 Animals and below will be attracted to the 3-mile area around your territory.

You have Purchased Restore and Repair for 10 points
All of your manmade structures in your territory have been repaired
Warning: this purchase cannot clean up the dead demon or all of the blood. You will have to do that yourself.
You have Purchased Perfect Architecture Ⅹ for 55 points
Your settlement has been reinforced with settlement magic, ensuring it won't be casually destroyed by a monster falling on it or from your own troops trading blows inside of its halls.
Any damage will slowly (very slowly) repair itself over time
This ability does not affect construction workers and allows them to make repairs, tear down old structures and make modifications without having to have a maxed-out strength score.
New structures will gain the benefits of Perfect Architecture Ⅹ
You have Purchased Personal Growth Ⅰ for 1 Settlement point
+10% to all XP Gains for all residents within your settlement
You have Purchased Health Ⅰ for 1 Settlement point
+10% to the Health Pools for all residents within your territory
You have Purchased Mana Ⅰ for 1 Settlement point
+10% to the Mana Pools for all residents within your territory
Tom sighed as his settlement points dropped to zero. But that was fine. When the settlement hit level 2, he would get another one hundred settlement points, and he could make more modifications. But he would need to have at least a population of 200 people in his settlement, and without the in-game NPCs, he wasn't sure how long that would take.
Taking another moment, he assigned the rest of his levels.
DING!!!

"TTTOOOOMM!" Chloe screamed like a hurricane as she ran up to the corpse of the demon lord to give him a tackle hug.
"Oof," Tom felt his breath leave him as Chloe slammed into him, pressing into him as she hugged him.
"Hey, peanut," Tom said as he hugged his little sister.
"Too loud," Skippy moaned as he woke up.
Lucy, Betty, and Alex followed in. Lucy looked a little skittish but fine.
"Did you guys kill this monster?" Chloe whispered as if they were not standing on the demon's corpse.
"It's a demon, and yes, we killed it," Tom said. "Skippy, could you stick all this stuff into your inventory"
Skippy shrugged, touched the demon lord's severed head, and dumped it into his inventory.
"Is it safe?" Betty asked as she started with wide eyes at the carnage.
"It's perfectly safe. So Tom, what do we do now?" Alex asked.
"We should set up our rooms. A bed sounds really nice right now. We could unload all of Alex's stuff and set up some living quarters. As for the settlement, we have enough points to activate the beacon and draw in some more players. But before that, I got a couple of items from the tutorial. We can set those up, then clear up all the demons."
"Um, I still need to get my bloodline," Abaddon said.
"Which bloodline?" Tom asked.
"Bloodline of the Lesser Hydra," Abaddon said.
Tom considered blowing Abaddon off. He was tired and felt like he could topple over at any moment, but on the other hand, the Lesser Hydra wasn't too hard to get their hands on or deal with. And they really needed all the power they could get.
"Fine, I guess." Tom shrugged. We can knock that out before the end of the day.
Tom could summon a bunch of wild lesser hydra from the nether pretty easily, and it wasn't too high level for their group, as long as none of them got loose.
"Alright then," Tom said as he pulled out his loot from beating the tutorial and started adding them to the settlement.
"What's that?" Abaddon asked.
"I got a bunch of settlement seeds from the tutorial. I was originally just going to sell them, but now."
"Hold on, I got some settlement seeds as well," Alex said.
"Same," Skippy said.
Tom watched as they loaded the settlement seed with smaller, colorful crystals, each representing a different reward from the tutorial boss.

"What are settlement templates?" Chloe asked.
"You can create Special rooms or buildings in a settlement," Tom said. Abaddon, where are your settlement seeds?"
"I have no agility or dexterity. How was I supposed to loot a chest in ten seconds?" Abaddon asked.
Tom had to admit that was as good a reason as any.
"Did you guys get anything else?" Tom asked.
"A few skill books, a lot of junk weapons," Skippy said.
"Same," Alex and Abaddon agreed.
"Pretty much the same here." Tom noted as he opened their inventory, "Let's just see what skill books we have: Smith, Alchemist, Enchanter, Farmer, fisherman, another farmer, a cook, a hunter, a crafter, another enchanter, another smith, a jeweler, a gambler, bard, prostitute, and an Arena master skill book. I'll be honest, that's a lot."
"Tom!!" Chloe cut in. "Are we going to live here now?"
"Yes, peanut."
"Does that mean no more TV?" she asked.
Tom blinked. "Why wouldn't you watch any TV?"
"Because we aren't allowed to watch TV at school," Chloe said.
Tom chuckled. " Don't worry, peanut. You can watch TV as soon as we set things up."
"Alex, could you and skippy take Chloe and our guest up to the third floor and start setting things up. Abaddon and I will head out back and grab him a bloodline."
"Sure, come on, pumpkin. We get to set up your new room," Alex said as her magic reached out and took over Tom's levitation spell.
"Really?!" Chloe cheered as Alex took Skippy from Abaddon and walked towards the third floor.
"Are you sure the two of us can beat a lesser hydra?" Abaddon asked. "I don't have anything to stop their regeneration."
"It's fine. I've got enough fireball scrolls to kill at least three lesser hydras," Tom said.
Abaddon shrugged as they turned and headed to the back of the school. Tom sighed as he looked down at his clothes.
"I'm going to need a change of clothes after this," Tom said.
