Chapter 576: Bloodline Art; Seal Style – Imperial Edict!
He stretched his hands outwards and clenched his fists as a spatial tear appeared in front of him where Gu Ming, Gong Yi, Elder Fu, Xiao Gui, Tong Tian and Mao My were lying unconscious, and though the pitch black metal rod were gone, but their wounds were still open and their life force seemed to have deteriorated significantly…
So, he placed a finger each on Gong Yi and Xiao Gui's head as two motes of green light shot into their head, healing their injuries and restoring their life force, and whilst those motes of life force were still doing their work;
Min Hong moved on to Elder Fu and Gu Ming and repeated the same action, and by the time these life force left his body, all the hair on his body fell off, returning him back to his baby like smooth skinned self, but his hair were still abnormally long…
He then tapped Mao My's forehead and then clenched his fist revealing the pocket of space where Ki Ting, Yu Ming and the Princess were also lying unconscious, and by the time he was done feeding them the extra life force, his hair had returned to his waist length;
"What should I do with the rest of this life force…"
He thought to himself as he looked to the ground and saw the glaive which Little Lin fought earlier, and realizing that the weapon spirit in it had been wiped out by Little Lin, he then made a grasping motion;
[Dao Art; Force Style – Almighty Pull!]
Swoosh!
The glaive floated into his grasp before he then punched all the excess life force in his meridian into it, causing the glaive to vibrate, hum and glow and after a while when he realized that he had infused all the excess life force into it, Min Hong finally sighed in disappointment;
"I had thought that since the previous weapon spirit hadn't been dead for too long, perhaps, this amount of life force would have been able to birth a new infant weapon spirit…"
[Why don't you try using those shadows you captured earlier?] Daniel chipped in;
[Where did you both hole up in whilst everything was happening?] Min Hong queried;
[We didn't know who that expert was and how he would have reacted if he spotted or sensed us; and that was why we didn't take control…]
Little Fei responded with a tone that insinuated that he was still disappointed and a little pissed at Min Hong's reckless actions…
[If that expert had thought we were demons or wandering souls that possessed you, he might have wiped us out…] Daniel revealed as Min Hong gave a mental nod at the plausible explanation;
[Is he gone?]
[Yeah, he left immediately after the battle ended…] Daniel answered Min Hong's question which was actually pertaining to the Bloodline Ancestor…
[Little Fei, do you think it is plausible that the shadow becomes the new weapon spirit of this glaive?]
[Sure… They are shadows born out of thoughts and they are conscious; if we add that to the excessive life force within the glaive at this point, it should be able to birth a weapon spirit…]
[But that is only in theory…]
[That's good enough for me…]
Min Hong then made several hand seals as an 'Imperial Edict Seal' appeared on his palm; then with a thought, he summoned Cheng 'The First Shadow', and once he appeared, Min Hong didn't even give him any moment to breathe before slamming his palm into him;
[Bloodline Art; Seal Style – Imperial Edict!]
Instantly, Cheng was branded with a 'Minion Mark' as his will became altered and forcefully attuned to serving Min Hong's best interest;
"Try entering this glaive…"
Min Hong ordered as Cheng flashed into the glaive before Min Hong spoke to him using his connection to the 'Minion Mark';
"Can you absorb the life force in there?"
"Yes master… This place seems comfortable, and I can feel my consciousness linked to every inch of this staff…"
"Alright, absorb the life force first, and we will see what ensues from there…" Min Hong added before storing the glaive within his spatial ring;
"I hope this works…" He muttered to himself as his team members began to wake one after the other…
"Unh?"
"What happened?"
"Where are we?"
"Fei Hong?"
They began to mutter one after the other as their consciousness tried to adjust its awareness back to its normal and usual condition…
"~Hmm~"
The Princess woke and gave a painful moan before touching her forehead trying to ease her splitting Migraine as Min Hong who had changed back into casual imperial robes moved over and carried her in a princess manner and asked;
"How do you feel?" He asked;
"Unh?"
"What happened?" The Princess asked as the rest of the group also paid attention;
"Oh, you guys were attacked by the Left Grand Elder and then were knocked out by the pain the fatal injuries brought…"
Min Hong explained softly with a slight smile; But the Princess' eyes widened instead as she quickly dropped from his arm and looked around warily;
"Are we all dead?" She blurted frantically;
"Eh!?" Min Hong was stunned silly;
"Where are they, I don't see anyone around, and neither is there any sign of massive destruction?"
The Princess asked as she kept looking around in fear, but after sensing no changes nor response from Min Hong; Pa! The Princess dished out a hot slap at Min Hong who was previously stunned, snapping him back to reality;
"That stings… Seems physical enough to me…" She added as she then realized what she had just done;
"Oh, I-i'm s-sorry…"
She instantly got flustered as she began to caress the part of the cheek she had slapped just now, whilst Min Hong simply smiled it off…
He was not only happy that he was alive, but also happy that he could kill a make shift Immortal Stage expert, then the fact that his group are also fine, and finally, his new home…
"Fei Hong, what happened to those demons!?" Gong Yi asked; "It is a very long and complicated story..."
Min Hong replied and when he didn't speak but simply stared back at them, the group realized then, that they were never going to know what went down hot after they went out cold…
