Chapter 12
12 The Power of Destiny
I go on and on, paying attention to what’s going on with Ville.
“First, your mother decided to bring Ambert into her company to force Jebella to raid the king’s capital.”
Ambert, the young man Jebella loved.
Seems like he was formerly a male whore, but that’s just how forty seemed to pioneer courtship from an older old woman.
Ambert rode her mother’s invitation and whispered sweetly to Jebella.
‘As long as you keep running away from the witch hunt, I’ll steal your country. All you have to do is create the land of witches and be the queen of immortality. I’ll be the first man to kneel on that throne. ”
So we’re gonna drag Jebella out onto a fancy stage so she can’t escape with the jewels.
Jebella was perfectly concerned and led his disciples, including his mother, to raid the king’s capital. Aim for Storms Mistria’s neck.
“But Master Stoms had the strongest sword in the game against witches. That’s Cross Obsidia. You’re Bill’s father.”
Ville’s face was white enough to float in the darkness.
I tried to speak pale.
“In order to take over Master Stomus, we had to defeat Cross first”
A knight who is sworn by the king to unrivalled loyalty. Probably also asked in detail about the rose jewels.
… Leaving it alive will just be a disaster.
“The witches decided to take hostages, because if we fought with a positive offense, we wouldn’t be intact. But Cross was fully aware that he was buying witch grudges and hiding his beloved wife in the royal castle. Exactly. The witches can’t even help it.
… So Master Schnello tricked Cross’s wife and turned her over to the witch. That’s how he gave his mightiest knight a tragic death. ”
His body fluttered wide. I can’t support you anymore.
“… Master Schnello said to Ville’s mother, ‘I know the truth. You can’t keep me alive, but my belly child can help you.’ A cross child must have a strong nucleus. Because it will help Mistria eventually. But Ville’s mother vehemently rejected it…. Do you know her last words?
Shaking the story, Mr. Sedonil smiled and told Ville.
“What makes this kid like you…! I’m not giving it to anyone! I will never forgive you! Dirty witches and Mistrian royals, perish!
And stabbed a short knife in his own stomach.
… but only Ville helped. Maybe you hesitated to kill my boy at the end.
With the spectacular act in sight, Master Schnello seems to have missed the treatment of Ville and decided to see how it goes once and for all in the distance.
I know because I saw Ville’s past in “Tomorrow,” but he was treated pretty badly by his aunt’s family.
Master Schnello should have heard the report, too.
But I didn’t do anything. I’m not at all willing to make amends for being a child I made unhappy. What a cold king.
Mr. Sedonil nodded smudgingly.
“At all, I was surprised when I found out that His Highness Rain was close to you. You don’t know anything about her, but she always pulls superbly well. Besides, I didn’t know you’d bother knighting. It’s ironic.”
Ville had no voice and knelt on the spot.
As the same knight, you will not forgive my father for the way he has behaved.
No matter how strong and competent you are, if you are judged to be in the way, you will be relentlessly truncated.
Being trampled on loyalty hurts a lot more than being torn apart.
It must have been a shock about your mother, too.
A normal mother would best hope that my child’s life would be saved. But Ville’s mother made the king hate him enough to refuse it.
Yet in the end, Ville had served his son of vengeance as a knight and had devoted his absolute loyalty to the Mistrian royal family.
Cruel roundabout.
I don’t have to peek into your face to understand. Bill’s mind got messed up.
Whatever you say to Ville now is no use. Let me move on.
“… Jebella, who made Cross Obsidia a deceased and took Lord Stomus’s head, took over the King’s Capital as much as possible to the Queen. When Mother used Ambert to take the recipe from Jebella, she killed her master lightly. They said there was no such thing as guilt. And he returned the throne to Master Schnello, and made a peace treaty to be his savior.”
If there were no collaborators on the kingdom side, we wouldn’t have settled this so smoothly.
Looks like Jebella hid the only rose jewel that she ever made successfully somewhere and couldn’t find it. Master Schnello panicked, but your mother didn’t care about that. As long as I have the recipe, I can make the jewels. Because I thought so.
Your mother was not interested in honor or power. All I wanted was eternal beauty and youth. I wish I could pull it into the countryside to produce rose jewels without anyone interrupting me.
“Mother finally decided to sign a contract with Master Schnello just in case. Magic that forbids you to reveal the truth about the raid. If you break it, there is no life. … provided that if a child is born, the price of breach of contract moves to that child”
…………
Ville lifted her head slightly.
We both didn’t want to risk our lives forever, so we made sure that the price of death would shift to the child we were born with.
You’re gonna do terrible things, aren’t you?
Your Majesty, your mother, what do you think of your own children?
“The contractual magic of engagement that was engraved on my and Lady Rain’s body hits it. If we had been married like that and had children, the covenant would have melted and vanished. Hehe, we were so relieved to be able to cancel it by mutual agreement.”
It’s a contract made with the idea that you wouldn’t just betray me if you were a relative. I know it’s a little shallow, but I guess we should have bought each other some time to consolidate our feet.
By the way, it’s not a breach of contract for discussing the truth within your peers. Because it’s not as public. That’s why Mr. Sedonil and I know the truth.
Of course, if a fellow betrayed and rose to the public, the life of the contractor would be gone. So Master Schnello shouldn’t be talking to anyone but his more trustworthy subordinates. That would be about the kind of person who has served since the time of the coup, like Mr. Sedonil.
Looks like Prince Rain hasn’t been informed of anything.
It’s dangerous, isn’t it? He’s been trying to find out the witch’s secrets. Because if I had known the truth twenty years ago in the process and rebuffed my father’s outrage, I would have died.
Or so I said, I can’t let you know. Prince Rain would resent his father if he knew his life was at stake in the contract. I can’t laugh at a coup for two generations.
Master Schnello didn’t mind Prince Rain dying at his worst.
Of course, he must have completely erased the evidence so Prince Rain wouldn’t get to the truth.
“And then… this is a little incredible, but I hear His Majesty asked my mother to give me one rose jewel. Instead, she supported her mother’s research, such as providing materials.”
That even though it was originally a plan to bury the jewels and the recipe in the dark, Master Schnello eventually lost his greed and sought immortality.
I’m going to freak out. Well, when it comes to being human, it’s human.
As a mother, I would have been very satisfied with even sponsoring it while I was able to research it with King’s approval.
“Are you sure this is how much it took to confirm what happened twenty years ago?
“Yes, you undoubtedly inherit the truth”
… I’m tired because I’ve spoken a lot. I want to drink something.
But it’s the real deal from here, right? I’m gonna hate this.
Ville remains sitting on the ground. I hear shallow breathing.
I figured maybe I should call you something?
But Mr. Sedonil won’t wait for me.
“Forgive me for a few more questions. Master Sonia, do you have any grudges against the royal family?
“Nothing in particular. I don’t feel the need to steam it back now that the contract has been cancelled.”
“Hmm… so you have the rose jewel?
I hope you don’t stare at the belly of the maiden so much anymore. The gentleman’s mask is peeling off.
“No. Jebella’s recipe was incomplete. Or maybe it was a trap. After several trials and errors, my mother, finally wearing the finished jewels, was temporarily rejuvenated. But gradually he was invaded by poison and died. That was a poisonous rose. I thought you told me that in your letter?
I can’t believe your mother died of a disease. Destroy yourself. After all, the Seven Forbidden Tests are not something you can do with your hands.
Just one finished product could be the same poison rose. Twenty years have passed and although I am not sure that it already exists.
“I doubted my ears when I heard Master Aronia’s obituary. But it’s been two years since her death. What are your chances of making improvements and offering them on behalf of your mother?
“It’s impossible. I’m not willing to take over research in the first place. Because this body is stained with that horror. It’s an illusion flower that’s not feasible in modern witches. We should give up.”
Mr. Sedonil laughed with his nose. You may even think of me as a heckling witch who has abandoned her despair.
“So where are the recipes and research materials now?
“The real thing is incinerated. Knowledge and experimental data only exist in my head. Don’t worry, I’m going to take you to the grave.”
“Doesn’t that just put you in danger?
“Depending on the other party, it will be negotiating material.”
“My Lord, like the former King, is most afraid that recipe will be in the hands of others. I don’t give away rose jewels, the recipe singles out, besides having a witchkiller sword in my hand. You’re very dangerous. Because now that the covenant has been broken, I didn’t think about the possibility that the king would kill you?
To Mistria, I seem to be out of the way now.
Kill me in this place now and feel safe if I bury everything in the dark. Don’t worry about secrets leaking.
You may end up buying the witches’ objections, but Ville is by your side for the sake of preaching. Ville decides to kill me and turn the spearhead of dissatisfaction towards him and his former lord Prince Rain. In the worst case scenario, you think you should cut off every Prince Rain.
“In order not to do so, Sonia the Witch will advise the king of Mistria”
Mr. Sedonil shrugged his shoulder.
“If Mistria vows not to lay a hand on me and my loved ones in the future, I will cooperate in the defence of the western border at the Kruge. In some cases, we’ll give you intelligence.
Higher magic has recently begun to be used in warfare in the western part of the continent. You think there’s a move to enroll witches in the military? Your wise Majesty will understand, but there is no future for Mistria after the times. ”
Originally, witches do not like to engage with politics or the country. I want to immerse myself in my magic research in the back of the mountain. But these days, more witches are joining hands with the state in exchange for experimental materials like their mothers.
“If you do get rid of me, you won’t have to worry about spreading useless knowledge. The secrets of the coup will also be kept. But you can also lose your power when you have to.”
“It’s dangerous to rely on witches when things happen. There’s no guarantee you won’t betray me.”
“Right. I would like you to invest in diplomacy so that things do not happen first. Above all, we need King Mistria to keep a firm grip on Lady Rain’s guidelines. I’m telling you, we have a loan for that wedding place.”
Depending on how the conversation went, it could have disrupted the venue enough to lead to riots and civil unrest. It was my temper not to do so.
“It hurts to be brought up with it…… but what you did on your own. I can’t thank you enough.”
“… yes. So you’re gonna kill me here and now?
Mr. Sedonil grinned.
“I’m about to get lost. I’m sure you should turn it off, but you’re too beautiful. Why don’t you just give yourself up? Perhaps my Lord will rejoice more than the rose jewels”
I wanted to tongue the men’s licking gaze around.
Your Majesty, I thought you understood the story, but I’m disappointed. I can’t believe I’m sending such an inferior man as a messenger.
“If you can’t get it, turn it off. Just like a rose jewel. How about that?”
“I refuse. I prefer a casual country life. Besides, it’s impossible to kill me with your power right now.
I’m not suggesting anything difficult. I’m telling you to leave me alone because I’m going to relax in the country. What would make you unhappy if you had to help Mistria?
“If we leave it alone, the other men won’t. On that wedding occasion, many nailed to your beauty. I want to avoid you being surrounded by other powers and the truth leaking.”
Oh.
Sometimes beauty is a vendetta.
“Above all, my Lord is concerned that you and His Highness Rain will join hands. Like the coup of twenty years ago, the witch and the king prince may join hands to wipe out the present king. Isn’t that part of getting Ville?… Reports say he was meeting with His Highness’s people at noon today.”
Truth is, this was the worst time.
I didn’t like being extra suspicious, and he said he hurried out of the King’s Capital.
That Emelda woman, she’s going to get in my way.
“That’s most unlikely. Me and Lady Rain are the ones who broke up their engagement. More hands together now, coup? What’s in it for you?
“Come on, seniors don’t get it, but my Lord is worried…. Dear Sonia, could you kill Ville Obsidia here and now and allay that concern? If it proves that you are not through with the Prince, let us consider an earlier proposal. And, Ville. You fight, too.”
Ville stiffened her body with a tingle in the words.
I see, you’re going to let Ville kill me. Sure, if Ville’s the opponent, it’s going to be a good fight. Those who survive will be full of creativity, so I can handle it no matter what.
I could be caught alive, but Ville would be killed without question.
I honestly told Bill the truth because I was going to kill him from the start.
… Well, I expected you were going to erase Ville.
“You want us to kill each other? Though thoughts look clear, you’re not supposed to do that. Ridiculous.”
“What about that?… Well, you have a flying dragon here. I also let a few of them refrain in the woods. Eyes and nose tips from here to the crew. Do you want to see your home floating in flames in the dark night?
While the other four were shielded, Cedonil rode the Fei Long. Seeing as we don’t move, the four of us follow.
They’re going to watch us kill each other from the empty privileged seats.
“Ville, if you run away from this scene or die casually, I will let the prince and Miss Emelda, who are in the king’s capital, hit you eight times. What, I’m not gonna kill you. But there are countless harder events than death. That poor, innocent little girl looks like it’s probably the first time.”
“Sedonil…… you!
Ville glanced at Sedonil with a face that was still about to cry.
I threaten my hometown, Ville, with my people.
That’s a big idea.
“Come on, fight! If you try to attack this one, you’ll be on your way to Kruge or the King’s Capital in no time!
Dragons fly, dust dances.
We were silent left on the ground.
Um, could it be a coincidence?
Situations that kill each other with Ville, like the original “Tome”.
I think I believe in the power of fate.
But, Sedonil, I’m sorry to hear that.
You don’t even have a name in the original. You’re not going to be my opponent. It makes me sad because it’s too small.
I am neither manipulated nor confused by anyone.
This cheap development won’t do what I think.
‘Cause I’m “Rasubosu” for once, right?
