The Great Adventure

Chapter 44: Oh No, It's the Cow Galaxy! And They're Invading!

Meanwhile, in the rest of Bear Fortress, chaos was erupting. As it turned out, the invaders were none other than some COW GALAXY ships. They had discovered the trace amounts of gricklite on Bear Stone Planet and wanted it.

DeBear had raced down to the ship garage to try to attack them, but it was too late. The cows attacked that first and not a single Bearmy ship remained. As he stood and wondered what to do next, a cow spotted him and stabbed him with her gricklite sword. R.I.P. DeBear.

In the radio room of Bear Fortress, bears were scrambling and sending out tons of distress signals across the galaxy, hoping someone would hear them and send help.

Meanwhilewhile, Mound was leading the gang into his personal spaceship (each member of the FPB of the B gets their own). It was located inside the vault. He powered up the hyper engines and blasted away, escaping the Cow Galaxy attack. In case you’re wondering, no, there was no door inside the vault for the spaceship to exit from. He blasted right through the wall.

However, this was a bad plan, as the cows put a gricklite energy shield around the entire planet. The spaceship warned them that it could not go forwards and stopped abruptly in front of the shield.

“AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!” screamed Mound.

“What?” asked Bird.

“A gricklite shield,” said Mound.

“How do you destroy one of those?” asked Klumpkrump.

“You need a gricklite missile,” explained Mound.

“So now w--”

“Luckily, this ship is equipped with a Bear Missile,” continued Mound, pressing the Bissile Button.

A Bear Missile shot out of their ship and hit the gricklite shield, causing a big explosion. Unlike with a normal energy shield, the Bissile only destroyed a small section of the gricklite shield and it was swiftly regenerating.

“Yargh!” exclaimed Mound, activating the hyper boosters and blasting the ship away from Bear Stone Planet.

“Well that was intense,” said Plagiarize. “What do we do next?”

“I guess we oughta go to these planets and find these artifacts,” said Bird, holding up the six maps from Kearth.

“...what about me?” asked Mound. “I did not sign up for this. I’m just a member of the FPB of the B, I am not meant to go on crazy space adventures!”

“Well, unless you want us to throw you out of the ship, you’ve gotta come along,” said Klumpkrump. “I suppose you can just wait in the ship while we’re out having our great adventures and whatnot.”

“Sounds fine to me,” said Mound.

“Okay, let’s take a look at these maps, gang,” said Bird.

Bird laid the maps down on a table in the control room. There were six of them, not seven, not eight, and most likely not nine. But one thing became very apparent very fast. There was a duplicate!!

“OMG!!!” shouted Hoofa. “This means that the pirates also have a duplicate map!! They’re gonna murder us for copying the maps!!!”

Qaeron and Klumpkrump both screamed.
