The Goddess of Death and Her Empress

Chapter 19 – Do Not Lose Your Mind

Sol smiled and slid into Kata's bed while the guard was asleep. Kata only opened her eyes after Sol had pulled off her clothes and pressed her body underneath her.

"Sol?" Kata said in a soft voice. Her mouth was covered quickly. Kata was overwhelmed as the larger and stronger woman wrapped her legs about her thighs, held her firmly, and didn't let her go. The warmth between her thighs was now pressed upon Kata's flesh.

Strong fingers firmly gripped her breasts, and moved to her nipples, twisting them with her fingers.

"I've watched you. For months." Sol said with that soft silky voice of hers. Kata felt the warmth of her thighs flood into her body.

"What have you seen?" Kata asked, her breath came in gasps, and warmed Sol's neck.

"If you were one of us, I would eat you up." She whispered. "But since you are human, the only thing I can do is taste you." Sol lowered her face to her breast, and sucked in her nipple. Her sharp teeth scraped her nipple, as her tongue let go.

"Taste me?" Kata asked and groaned as she felt Sol's teeth catch on her skin. Her long tongue wrapped around her nipple and tugged again.

"Yes." Sol released her nipple. "If I could, I would sink in my teeth, and taste you. But if I do, I might take a real bite." Sol's breath shuddered as she felt the hunger awaken within her body. She saw Kata's chest rise and fall with each breath.

Sol moved her leg grip up higher, and clasped her about the hips with her thick and muscular thighs. Sol started to put some pressure on her body, reached around, and restrained her arms so she couldn't move.

As Sol's warm crevice was mashed against her hip, Kata could feel the heat warm her entire middle. Even when those powerful thighs ruthlessly clasped about her stomach and squeezed, the heat within her body still spread.

Sol looked down at her firm breast that could easily fit in her hand. Her tongue slipped around that hard nipple, and pulled it up into her mouth.

"Oh my goddess. Taste me." Kata whispered. Sol smiled and slowly closed her lips.

Her nipple slipped from the grip of her tongue, but Sol's sharp teeth sank into her skin around the areola. Kata groaned as those teeth pierced her flesh.

However, as soon as her teeth sank into her flesh, the temple began to rumble.

"What were you thinking, Sol?" Lydia said in anger. "She is the Empress's guard!" Sol knelt in the throne room of the goddess, her head down to the stone, her hands linked behind her back, and she trembled in fear.

"Speak." Kyrie said. Her voice was soft, her tone low, and without inflection, but everyone in the throne room flinched. Sol knew her goddess was angry, as did everyone there.

"I have no words of defense, goddess." Sol trembled. "Even when I was human, I have never felt such overwhelming hunger. I knew she was human, and could not heal, but her eyes drew me in. Her flesh was so warm, I could feel it in the air." Kyrie tilted her head. She sent out a stream of blood red mist, and lifted Sol from the stone.

The mist wrapped around Sol and pushed its way violently into her body. Kyrie closed her eyes, and slowly nodded.

"Hm. I understand." She opened her eyes and set Sol on the floor. "Stand." Sol quickly stood up, and trembled even more. Kyrie took note of her naked bronze flesh, as it was a reminder of how sensual the Asmarian people were. Sol was originally Asmarian, but now that she was one of the Others, this sensuality was magnified in many ways.

"Lydia, Sol is vulnerable to the desires of the Empress." Kyrie said. Lydia's mouth dropped open, and she turned away from Sol.

"The Empress? How...has she been able to assimilate your mist to such a degree, goddess?" Lydia asked.

"She is an enigma. She follows no rules in regards to my essence. Her shadows have already been influenced by her, but are more resistant." Kyrie sighed. "The Empress is asleep, but her dream state is like a living world. She hibernates, but those closest to her will be affected." Lydia rolled her eyes.

"This will make it difficult. The Empress is fond of Sol, and the ones who kept her safe while she was in that foul kingdom." Lydia sighed a bit. "We can't deprive her of her protectors, but we need to limit your exposure until she wakes up." Kyrie nodded.

"Sol, you were influenced by the desires of the Empress, but most likely were more susceptible due to your own desires. You can not stay in close contact for long periods of time. Every twelve hours, you must return here, but while you are there, a shadow needs to watch over you." Kyrie said. Lydia stepped forward.

"There is no need of punishment, but as soon as you start to feel that hunger, you must return to Haven. You are still a young servant. The shadows are thousands of years old, but are still influenced by her strength." Lydia said. "The Empress defies the rules we already know. You must exercise caution, or you just might break the laws of our goddess." Sol shivered.

"I understand. Goddess, when may I return to the side of the Empress? Though I am weak compared to my sisters, I still wish to protect her." Sol asked with her head down.

"Tomorrow. Today, go to the grove and clear your core of your pent up desires." Kyrie said with a small smile. "I don't want you to lose your mind again, and have to explain to the Empress why we had to take Kata to Haven while she was asleep." Sol shivered.

"Yeah, neither do I."

"Who shall we send in her stead?" Kyrie asked quietly. Lydia looked around the room.

"Goddess, I know of two who might do the job you seek. They are ample, like Sol, but over a thousand years old. They are also more submissive, and can better serve." Lydia said, and drew Kyrie's gaze.

"Hm, those two? The ones at the bar?" Kyrie asked.

"It would do them some good to get pulled out of there. The ones in the bar are a bit odd, and seem to be a subset of your people now. They don't ask permission any longer." Lydia watched as Kyrie growled.

"Take them then. Send two deacons to retrieve them and have them brought here for inspection. If they are just as weak spirited as Sol, they will still need to switch out a bit more." Kyrie turned towards Ayn, who stood on the opposite side of the room.

"I agree with my sister Lydia. The bar is a dark place for some of our people, goddess. While they are still willing, and do not fight, the ones inside do not ask permission any longer." Ayn pursed her lips. "It is not right."

"Agreed." Lydia said and sighed a bit. "But the rules are the rules. We can not interfere unless they ask for help, or say no. As soon as they say no, and the bar tries to continue, it will be a capital offense. For now, they just stretch the rules." Kyrie's eyes narrowed.

"I'm not so sure Lena will see it the same way."
