Chapter 35
Fortunately, after Thorne's strong efforts, Draco finally believed that the former was researching the love potion just to win the favor of an unknown person, and it had nothing to do with the little wizards in Hogwarts.
"Why do you want to fight? Just talk." Draco looked at Thorne with resentment, collapsed on the bed and sulked.
"I'm going out later. Do you need to bring you something back?" Thorne shrugged and said.
"Butter bread."
"Okay."
After leaving the dormitory, Thorne went straight to Snape's office and took away a lot of potion materials right under his nose.
"It takes at least three months to brew the love potion... Are you so anxious?" Snape said faintly.
"I'll go to Dumbledore later and see if I can find his private time converter." Thorne said while holding the materials.
"Come to my place when the time comes... If you succeed in getting it..." Snape didn't say anything more after hearing what Thorne said, but just reminded him.
"I will." Thorne said, not considering himself an outsider at all. He directly found a crucible in the corner of Snape's office, put it in the corner, took out the petals of the fairy, pressed the liquid out of it with a knife, and then threw it into the crucible with the solidified honey. He waved the wand gently, and a flame appeared under the crucible, constantly burning the liquid in the crucible.
Twenty seconds later, Thorne directly grabbed Snape who was watching the excitement behind him, put the wand in his hand and said, "Professor Snape, please help me. I will come back to save you after I find the time converter!" He said that regardless of whether Snape agreed or not, he decisively disappeared in the office.
........
Snape was very depressed. Since he became the dean of Slytherin, no one dared to let him do this kind of potion work... Dumbledore didn't even do it!
But who made him say such big words and let Thorne use his own materials... very expensive!
Thinking of this, he squatted down in humiliation, holding Thorne's wand and stirring the crucible constantly.
On the other side, Thorne came to Dumbledore's office as if there was no one, but found that he had fallen asleep.
"What's the matter? Going to bed so early today?" Thorne murmured.
He went directly to Dumbledore's bedroom and kept shaking Dumbledore on the bed.
"Dumbledore Dumbledore, do you have a time converter here?"
"Why do you, a child, use that thing?" Dumbledore said dazedly on the bed.
"I use it to make potions."
"It's too dangerous for you to use that thing." Dumbledore continued to murmur.
"Professor Snape is supervising." Thorne said.
"In the drawer of my desk, there is a necklace that looks like a gyroscope."
"Thank you!" Thorne quickly came to Dumbledore's desk, found the time converter in the drawer, and decisively left Dumbledore's office and ran towards Snape's office. After all, if he arrived a little late, Snape would be anxious and break his defense, and his semi-finished potion would be ruined.
"Professor Snape! I'm back!" Thorne pushed open the door of the potion office, holding the time converter in his hand.
"Come here!" Snape said coldly.
"Here I come." Thorne hurried over and took the wand from Snape's hand and stirred it, while Snape took the time converter.
"Dumbledore really trusts you, and gives you all this stuff." He said faintly.
"Is this a compliment?" Thorne asked.
"Yes, you stir it here, I'll find a place to test it. After all, I haven't used the time-turner to make potions before, but it's theoretically feasible." Snape took the time-turner back to his bedroom.
"OK." Thorne nodded and continued the boring stirring until eighty minutes later, when the potion suddenly emitted a charming red light. He put down his wand, stood up and moved his numb body.
He took out the eggs of the salamander and the roots of calamus from the raw materials on the side and put them into the mortar to crush them. Finally, the mixed lizard blood was poured directly into the crucible, and then it was stirred for another three minutes.
After three minutes of stirring, the potion only needs to be left for three months, and the time-turner can help him skip these three months.
And the time-turner... is still in Snape's hands.
Thorne just nestled in the sofa. It was unknown how long it took for Snape to come out of the bedroom, holding the time-turner.
"Success?" Thorne asked with more energy.
"Yeah."Snape hummed, hung the chain of the time converter in the crucible, and then squatted down to twist the time converter.
Just like that, the potion that originally needed to be left for three months gave off a pearly luster after only ten minutes, and the love potion was completed.
"Although I don't know what you use this thing for... but I warn you, it's best not to let me smell this weird smell in Hogwarts." Snape bottled the love potion and handed it to Thorne, warning.
"Promise." Thorne promised.
"Well..." Snape nodded.
"And this, return it to Dumbledore tomorrow." Snape handed the time converter to Thorne again.
"Okay."
"Let's go." Snape said, sitting on the sofa and closing his eyes to rest.
"OK." Thorne was about to leave the office when he was suddenly called back by Professor Snape.
"Wait... clean this crucible before leaving." Snape continued.
"Okay." Thorne walked back listlessly, holding the cauldron and heading for the bathroom at the end of the corridor.
.................
After returning to the dormitory, he found that Draco had not slept yet, lying on the bed reading a magic book.
"Why are you still awake so late?" Thorne asked.
"Aren't you the same?" Draco asked back.
"I went to make potions, take a look at this." Thorne threw the love potion bottle over.
"What is this?" Draco picked up the bottle, looked at it and smelled it, and asked.
"Love potion, fresh out of the oven." Thorne replied.
In an instant, Draco hurriedly threw the love potion out in a panic. Fortunately, the potion bottle was extremely strong, and this force was not enough to break the potion bottle.
"What are you doing, you are so clumsy, don't break it for me." Thorne picked up the potion bottle and wiped it, saying with some heartache.
