The Girlfriends' From My Dreams

Chapter 12: Ch 12. The Moment of Social Death for Yukinoshita

"Kang Dang--Kang… Dang--Kang Dang----"

After a night of running, the roller coaster finally slowed to a stop on the endless track.

"Hmm~"

Just as the roller coaster came to a halt, dizzy Hoshimi couldn't hold on any longer; his tense body relaxed instantly, and he slumped in the seat as if he were drunk.

All night long, the roller coaster never stopped.

High-altitude dives, circular orbits, flipping orbits, and orbit-breaking leaps... the thrilling rides came one after another. I lost count of how many times.

He didn't know what kind of medicine Yukinoshita took, but she persevered relentlessly, never conceding defeat from start to finish.

This really made him feel uneasy. Yukinoshita had been holding his hand the whole time, which already made him uncomfortable.

Coupled with the weightlessness induced by the roller coaster, he was really about to give in now...

"What time is it now..." Hoshimi muttered indistinctly.

Resisting the dizziness in his head, he propped himself up and turned to look at the large clock on the tall building in the center of the city.

Nearly seven in the morning.

He and Yukinoshita had started the roller coaster marathon around twelve o'clock last night, meaning they had been riding for seven hours?

No wonder it was so uncomfortable; no one could endure that for so long...

Fortunately, this was just a dream; at worst, it would affect their mental state and not cause actual harm to their bodies.

Moreover, by now, they should both be getting up and going to school. Considering tonight's "game" a draw seemed fair; he couldn't bear it if it continued.

"Yukinoshita... Yukinoshita... The game's over... Yukinoshita... The game's over... Yukinoshita?"

Slumped in his seat, Hoshimi covered his forehead with his left hand and called Yukinoshita incoherently.

He called several times, but Yukinoshita didn't respond.

Realizing something was wrong, Hoshimi forced himself to sit up and looked to the side, only to find Yukinoshita with closed eyes, furrowed brows, a frighteningly pale face, body stiffened as if still dizzy.

But even so, Yukinoshita continued to tightly grip Hoshimi's right hand with an iron grip.

"Yukinoshita, wake up..."

Hoshimi struggled to move his bruised hand, poking Yukinoshita's waist twice.

"Well~... I can still... go on... I won't lose..."

Yukinoshita let out an anguished murmur, speaking in a trance.

"The game's over... it's a tie... it's seven o'clock in the morning... it's time for us to go to school..."

Dizzy and disoriented, Hoshimi lacked the energy to tease Yukinoshita further; he simply informed her of the final outcome.

"It's over... a draw... a draw..."

Hearing this, Yukinoshita's tense demeanor from the night finally collapsed.

As her body relaxed, she slumped in the seat like melting snow, every tense muscle in her body loosening, even her sphincter relaxing...

Yukinoshita had a good habit; she drank a glass of water every night an hour before bed.

Firstly, it reduced blood viscosity and improved sleep quality.

Secondly, it enhanced kidney detoxification and maintained good health.

Although she planned to stay up late last night to avoid Hoshimi's dream, she still drank her water as usual.

Despite her precautions, she ended up in Hoshimi's roller coaster dream, reluctantly dragged into the game by that jerk Hoshimi.

The stimulation of the roller coaster amplified her desire to use the bathroom early on, a desire that grew stronger over time.

But thankfully, due to her tense, high-pressure state and the terror of weightlessness, her urge had been severely suppressed.

But...

With her recent body relaxation, even her sphincter relaxed, and a certain desire was inadvertently released in Yukinoshita's trance-like state...

"Come here tonight..."

"Tick-tick--"

Dizzy Hoshimi just wanted to escape the dream but heard an odd sound.

Covering his forehead with his left hand, he subconsciously followed the sound.

Seeing Yukinoshita's seat edge dripping water, Hoshimi was momentarily stunned before realizing what had happened.

His eyes widened, mouth slightly agape as he stared at Yukinoshita in astonishment.

"Yukinoshita, you..."

Perhaps it was Hoshimi's astonished tone that startled Yukinoshita; she looked at him blankly, meeting his gaze.

After a moment, Yukinoshita seemed to comprehend something; her body trembled, jolting upright as if shocked, staring down at her seat in disbelief.

"Tick-tick--"

Observing the water dripping from her seat, Yukinoshita's pale face flushed instantly, a crimson blush spreading to her neck and delicate ears.

"Yukinoshita! You peed yourself out of fear!!"

Shocked, Hoshimi blurted out unconsciously.

"I didn't! No! You definitely did!"

Like an enraged tigress, Yukinoshita whirled around, grabbed Hoshimi by the collar, utterly disregarding her usual demeanor, and tearfully roared:

"It's you! Hoshimi! It must be you! You brought this water onto my seat to frame me!"

"It's you! Hoshimi! Admit it! Did you do it! Admit it!"

For the first time in front of Hoshimi, teary-eyed Yukinoshita shed tears, gripping Hoshimi's collar, her roar growing more impassioned, almost pleading by the end.

"..." Hoshimi looked at Yukinoshita tearfully, feeling a pang of pity.

Even he, usually unfeeling, couldn't help but feel a twinge of guilt.

If he wasn't mistaken, things that happened in dreams sometimes manifested in reality...

Which meant Yukinoshita, in reality...

The guilt deepened within Hoshimi.

He gazed at Yukino, tears streaming down her cheeks, and nodded with compassion.

"Yes, Yukinoshita, I did it. I framed you."

He wasn't heartless; Yukinoshita looked so pitiful, he couldn't continue teasing her...

Moreover...

If he teased her now, she might actually come after him with a knife, ready to die together...

The possibility wasn't small; after all, the girl before him wasn't as strong as she appeared...

"...don't look at me like that!"

Upon hearing Hoshimi's admission, Yukinoshita released his collar, wiped her tears, and growled stubbornly at him.

She'd rather be pranked by Hoshimi than pitied by him!

"Cough, it's almost time. We should get up."

Hoshimi turned away, shattering the dream as if nothing had happened.

"Crack--click--"

As the dream shattered, Yukinoshita suddenly grabbed Hoshimi's right hand and squeezed it tightly.

The corner of Hoshimi's mouth twitched in pain, enduring it...

Why did Yukinoshita have such a cat-like personality? She could hold a grudge, but this was unexpected...

She started the blame game, but now she wanted to turn the tables on him.

What an ungrateful cat...
