Chapter 20 The Ending of Doctor Duanmu (Part 1)
The Valley of Miracle Doctors is a mysterious and peaceful place. A clear stream flows in the valley, and the sound of gurgling water gives people a sense of tranquility and peace.
A simple bamboo house sits among them.
In front of the house is a cultivated medicinal garden, where all kinds of rare and exotic grasses thrive.
An old woman holds a small hoe and carefully takes care of the medicine garden.
A little red fox happily shuttled through the medicine garden.
Its figure jumped like a flame, but skillfully avoided every precious medicinal herb.
Su Yao raised a soft smile on her lips and called softly.
"master."
The old woman was stunned for a moment, then suddenly raised her head, surprise flashed in her eyes, and she hurriedly stood up and walked quickly towards Su Yao.
"Yao Yao, why are you back?"
As she walked, she looked behind Su Yao and felt a little disappointed when she found that there was no one else.
Su Yao smiled and stepped forward to support the old woman and said with a smile:
"Master, don't look, Xiaoxue is not here, but she asked me to bring you some good wine."
As she spoke, Su Yao raised her other arm and shook the wine jar in her hand.
Doctor Duanmu's eyes lit up, he quickly grabbed the wine jar, and couldn't wait to open the lid. A strong aroma of wine filled the small courtyard.
Miracle Doctor Duanmu took a deep breath and said happily:
"Well, good wine, good wine, haha..."
She is an old woman who doesn't have any hobbies. She just likes to play with herbs and drink wine. Xiaoxue understands her.
Su Yao looked at the old woman with a smile, but there was no warmth in her dark eyes.
Well, this is specially given to you by your good apprentice. Please... drink more.
Then the old woman turned to look at Su Yao and said with a smile:
"By the way, what's the matter with you coming here this time?"
Su Yao smiled and nodded.
"Well, my disciple was researching a prescription recently and was a little confused, so I came here to trouble you."
Miracle Doctor Duanmu nodded. Just as he was about to say something, he felt his pants tighten. When he lowered his head, he saw that it was the little fox.
Doctor Duanmu smiled, bent down and picked it up.
"I rescued it on the mountain, and it has been living with me in this bamboo house ever since. Since you two left, it's thanks to this little family that has been with me."
"With this little guy accompanying you, we can rest assured."
Then Su Yao took the wine from the old woman's hand with a smile and said with a smile.
"Master, let me do it. Xiaoxue told me to keep an eye on you and not let you drink too much."
"Haha, okay, here you go, that girl just loves to worry."
Su Yao took the wine jar, helped the old woman walk towards the house, looked at the little fox in the old woman's arms, and said curiously:
"Master, this little fox seems different from other foxes. It looks so small!"
"Well, this is a special breed of fire fox, extremely humane."
Su Yao nodded and looked at the little fox, with the corners of her mouth raised and excitement in her eyes...
The little fox was startled and quickly shrank into the old woman's arms.
Time flies, the years fly by, and the time of a year disappears like running water.
A petite woman in white, carrying a basket on her back, was bending over and looking for something in the grass.
"Red raccoon..."
The woman called softly, her voice neither fast nor slow, and suddenly her eyes lit up.
"Wow, I found you."
The woman stepped forward, picked up the red fox curled up in the grass, and nodded the little fox's eyebrows funny, speaking in a gentle tone.
"You were running around, so I stewed you."
The gentle words made the little fox tremble all over.
The girl slowly turned around and saw that her appearance was stunning. Her skin was as white as jade, her lips were like vermilion, and her bright eyes were as shining as pearls. Her beauty was unforgettable.
Su Yao hugged the little fox and walked back step by step.
"Ah...ah..."
Before they even got close to the cabin, they heard screams of pain.
Su Yao raised the corners of her mouth and slowly walked into the wooden house.
I saw an old woman with disheveled hair curled up on the ground holding her head.
Su Yao smiled and looked at the little fox in her arms.
"You ran out to help her."
"But what should we do? She failed again."
Then the girl smiled and looked at the old woman.
"Hey, Master, this is the first time. You know it's useless, so why don't you give up?"
Hearing Su Yao's voice, Duanmu, the miracle doctor, raised his head and looked at the woman angrily.
"Beast, you will not die well."
Su Yao put the little fox down, and the little fox immediately ran far away and huddled in a corner of the room.
"Giggle...Master, look, you scared the red raccoon!"
The woman smiled sweetly, her voice as clear and sweet as an oriole emerging from the valley.
Then, he took out the silver needle he carried with him and walked towards the old woman.
Seeing the familiar silver needle, her eyes showed deep fear, and she immediately struggled to stand up, but it was in vain.
"Beast, get out of here, get out of here."
Su Yao squatted down, raised the corners of her lips, and slowly inserted the silver needle three inches into her brain.
She opened her eyes wide in horror, staring at the woman with resentment, then slowly closed her eyes and lowered her head.
Su Yao pulled her to the corner and looked at the melted iron chains on the ground...the smile on her face disappeared instantly.
With cold eyes, he locked the old woman in chains again.
With an expressionless expression, he pulled out the silver needle from the old woman's head, watched her slowly open her eyes, and threw the silver needle into the dark medicinal soup next to her.
Miracle Doctor Duanmu glared at her angrily, and was about to open his mouth to curse, but as usual, he couldn't make a sound or move his body.
She glared at Su Yao. If eyes could kill, Su Yao would have died a thousand times.
"Master, you are too noisy, please be quiet for a while."
"By the way, does the wine your good apprentice gave you taste good?"
The girl smiled sweetly.
"Haha, it must be delicious. I added some good stuff to it."
Then, he looked at the melted iron chain again and said calmly.
"It's just that you have disappointed me so much. Now, you are still hiding your secrets. Do you want to leave it to your good apprentice Shangguan Yuxue?"
"Haha, I'm afraid...she can't wait any longer."
The girl smiled and raised the silver needle.
"Master, do you still remember this silver needle? You gave it to your apprentice, and it's just right to give it back to you now."
After saying this, he slowly inserted the silver needles into various acupuncture points on the old woman's body.
"Hey, I originally wanted you to live a few more days and try the poison for me, but it's time for me to go back. Otherwise, your good disciple would be anxious, but you I'm really worried about leaving you alone with all this fuss."
"So... you'd better die."
By the time he finished speaking, all the silver needles in the poisonous soup had pierced into the old woman's body.
