The Arrival of Naruto in the Marvel Universe

Chapter 521: Chapter 520: Tracking and Surveillance

As Charles entered the system space, he immediately opened the system shop interface to check out the latest ninja fragments available today.

Upon opening the ninja section of the system store, he saw four ninja avatars.

Deidara Fragment: Daily limit 0/9, 480 gold coins/1 piece!

Anko Fragment: Daily limit 0/9, 180 gold coins/1 piece!

Itachi Uchiha Fragment: Daily limit 0/9, 520 gold coins/1 piece!

Naruto Shippuden - Kakuzu Fragment: Daily limit 0/9, 80 gold coins/1 piece!

Seeing the latest four ninjas, Charles felt a bit disappointed. As expected, there were no fragments of S-rank ninja Jiraiya, but there was Itachi Uchiha, a member of Akatsuki whom he had recruited.

To upgrade Itachi to 3 stars, he needed 60 fragments. Seeing this, Charles was taken aback. Although he barely reached six figures in gold coins, it was not enough. After thinking for a moment, he decided to temporarily give up on this.

Clicking on Deidara's avatar, Charles found that he already had 21 fragments. With these additional 9 fragments, he would only be 2 opportunities away from recruiting him with 40 fragments.

Thinking about the explosive artist Deidara and his powerful C4 Explosive Clay, Charles was excited about his potential appearance. It seemed that the Akatsuki organization would soon gain another member.

Without hesitation, Charles spent 4,320 gold coins to purchase the 9 fragments.

Then he clicked on Anko's ninja card, which showed 0 fragments. Charles was surprised by this number. It seemed he hadn't obtained any fragments of her before. After considering for a moment, he spent 1,620 gold coins to acquire 9 fragments.

Skipping over Itachi Uchiha's fragments, Charles clicked on the Naruto Shippuden - Kakuzu ninja card. He already owned 11 fragments.

Seeing the price of 80 gold coins each, he found it to be practically free. Gathering 40 fragments would only cost his 3,200 gold coins, a price cheaper than direct purchases.

Without hesitation, he spent 720 gold coins to purchase all of them, bringing his total fragments to 20.

After completing his purchases in the ninja store, Charles exited and went directly to the battle column.

Glancing at his remaining gold coins, which amounted to 95,536, he clicked on the plus sign next to the battle column.

"Ding! Would you like to use 42,000 gold coins to open a battle slot?"

Hearing the system prompt, Charles, prepared and ready, didn't hesitate and chose yes.

With 42,000 gold coins deducted, Charles gained another battle slot.

Looking at the remaining gold coins, Charles thought for a moment and chose not to continue opening slots. Instead, he placed the ninja card of Hanabi Hyuga into the battle slot.

"Ding! Please select the position for one-star C-ninja: Hanabi Hyuga."

A: Within a 3-meter radius of Charles Doyle.

B: Random placement.

He selected option A.

With Charles's choice, Hanabi Hyuga appeared in front of him.

"Red Queen, inform Neji Hyuga and Hinata Hyuga to come over."

After Hanabi Hyuga appeared, Charles had a brief conversation with her before handing her over to her siblings.

As for the metal materials in the room, Charles informed Ginny to come and take them, as she followed his request to forge ninja swords.

After completing these tasks, Charles went to the base's dining area. He stored all the food and drinks he ordered in the morning into his storage space and chatted with other ninjas in the base while waiting for the evening banquet to begin.

Meanwhile, in Afganistan-

Military personnel had securely bound the coffins found in the cave and were lifting them out with helicopters from the depths where they had been hidden.

During this time, a large number of crows had appeared around the village, perching on roofs and the ground.

Nick frowned as he watched the large number of crows. Even though there had been some armed combat earlier resulting in casualties among the militants, it shouldn't have attracted so many crows.

Inside a room, Itachi Uchiha stood by the window, activating his Mangekyo Sharingan. He looked towards the lifted coffins with a slight furrow of his brow.

The Sharingan didn't have the ability to see through things, so he couldn't determine what was inside or whether it was a living being. However, he had just sensed a faint genjutsu at the bottom of the cave.

It was a subtle and weak genjutsu, barely noticeable. If he weren't proficient in this field and didn't have the Mangekyo Sharingan, he wouldn't have detected it at all.

By now, all the soldiers had evacuated from the cave and were preparing to leave the area before the storm arrived.

"Hidan, keep an eye on those helicopters. Don't let them out of sight. I'll go inside the cave to investigate."

After Itachi Uchiha finihed speaking, he used the Body Flicker Technique to disappear from Hidan's sight and reappeared inside the cave.

Inside the cave, Itachi Uchiha examined the surroundings. Ancient Egyptian statues and inscriptions marked this as an ancient place.

He delved deeper into the cave, seeing ancient guardian statues and the bodies of dead soldiers adorned with gold jewelry. It was evident that those soldiers hadn't had time to collect these artifacts.

Itachi Uchiha searched around but found no special items. Even the jewelry was ordinary, with no energy fluctuations.

The six guardian statues also showed no signs of unique abilities. However, this mercury dungeon still made him pensive.

"Was the triggering of the genjutsu caused by the coffin that was taken away?"

After checking without finding anything else, Itachi Uchiha left the cave and returned to Hidan's side.

Hidan looked at the helicopters flying towards the distance and asked, "Any findings?"

Itachi Uchiha looked at the lifted coffin and the surrounding crows before replying, "There's nothing unusual inside the cave. The only problem seems to be that coffin."

"We'll follow from afar and see what the problem is."

At this point, Hidan and Itachi Uchiha concealed themselves in the sandstorm. The convoy and two helicopters ahead didn't notice their presence.

Soon, the helicopters and convoy arrived at a temporary military camp, where a huge transport plane was waiting.

The military intended to use this transport plane to take away the ancient Egyptian coffin.

Meanwhile, Jenny, during the transportation process, instructed the soldiers to handle the coffin with extreme care, as it was a 5000-year-old artifact.

As Nick, Ferret, Jenny, and the colonel boarded the plane, soon after, as the sandstorm approached, the plane started up and flew off into the distance.

However, Ferret, who had been bitten by a spider, was feeling increasingly uncomfortable, slapping his cheeks.
