"Woah...that's is a lot. Thank you," Virgil said surprised

{This may seem like a lot but understand that this is just the most basic protection. It will not help in the long run} Sabastian explained

"...I understand," Virgil replied opening his stats

Taking a few moments to think about the build he wanted, Virgil added five points to his Body, ten to agility, and another five to dexterity since his intelligence and wisdom were the highest.

Once he added the points to his stats he felt and saw a physical change in his body. His pale skin slowly gained color; his thin body grew adding a little muscle. Even though it wasn't a giant change it was enough to make him look healthier than before.

"I guess status points really are important. Hey, Sabastian how else can I get status points?" Virgil asked

{The main way is leveling up. Every level up will give you one stat point to each stats and three free status points}

"I see. Once more question. For leveling up do I have to kill an enemy?" Virgil asked

{No defeating them to the point they are no longer a threat will reward you. But killing an enemy will provide more experience} Sabastian explained

"That's good to know," Virgil said opening his storage. Taking out the four skill books he received he opened the basic mana control and his head was filled with a rush of information about mana cores, mana circulation, and manipulation.

Once all the information was in his head he received a notification from the system.

[Congradulation you have learned: Basic-Mana Control[Lv.1: Allows you to use the mana within your body and around you while bringing in the mana around you to restore your mana core]

After receiving the message Virgil watched as the bust turned into dust and disappeared as it was never there.

"Interesting instant learning," Virgil said picking up the second book with an image of a brain. 

Like with the first book when he opened it he received a notification saying he learned the Skill Learner and that it increased the rate at which he could understand something by 10 percent. 

Following the same steps in the last two books he learned Barrier which created a mana barrier that cost ten mana to activate and one mana every second after that to maintain and could block low-level damage.

Then he learned the shock spell which shot out a bolt of lightning that would stun an enemy within five levels of the user.

"These will be really helpful even if just helping me get away from criminals," Virgil said moving on to the next objects 

Taking the healing ring Virgil placed it on his left hand. At first, he did not feel anything but then he grabbed a piece of broken glass and cut his palm. Before he could finish the cut the wound healed right away without any scarring.

{Virgil what are you doing?} Sabastian asked seeing him cut himself

"I was just testing the ring," Virgil replied 

"I work well. Good protection against small knives and things of the sort," Virgil said rubbing his palm

Moving on Virgil put on the black robe with a blue rose design at the bottom half and sleeves. Once he did the Large robe struck to his size making it easy to move around without the chance of the robe getting caught

"Nice. To changes to fit my size," Virgil said closing his inventory

"Hey Sabastian, I know that the system has already helped me a lot but I want to ask for one more thing," Virgil said 

{I assume you're talking about money?} Sabastian spoke

"Yes. If I wish to buy tools or things to help me in the future I will need money

{The system already thought of this. When creating your fake life it created an account with $100,000 in your name

"Thank you this will help me a lot. Especially in the technology aspect,"

{There is a small bank nearby you can go to. You will be able to withdraw money without too many eyes being on you}

"I see thank you," Virgil said walking towards his apartment entrance
