Chapter 172: The World Guild
The sorcerers were bowing in front of Jay and after they heard his first order which was without a doubt their first task, they took their leave.
It happened too suddenly. No one had ever expected the Sorcerers to be under him but now that it had indeed happened, it was too much of a surprise.
Regardless, all the sorcerers were quite happy since he had forgiven them but now that they had finally become part of his army, they too felt a bit relieved.
That was because, just being a sorcerer wouldn't give them or their families a stable income. Also, all of them knew that what they were actually trying to do was wrong.
It was not as if any of them liked to become a villain so since they were offered something, they took it to their hearts and did it.
Till whatever guild Jay wanted to establish had been completely made or constructed, he left the payment in the hands of Res.
Without a doubt Res was Jay's superior but for some reason their posts had been reversed. Indeed, Res couldn't look directly into Jay's eyes.
Moreover, he was getting a weird chill everytime he looked at Jay.
'I guess I'll go back now and take a look at mom and Sera...', Jay thought.
'More than that... I need to see what this new skill is...'
[ You have gained the skill Destroyer ]
The skill name was something that could be easily understood, but after spending a lot o time with the sysrem, Jay had also understood one thing that the system would never cease to surprise him.
So he was expecting it to be way different from his imagination.
"Alright Sir Res, I guess we should head back now.", Jay said.
"Yes..."
Right after agreeing to him, Res opened a portal. Jay and he entered the portal after that and within a blink of an eye they arrived on the roof top of the building in which Res lived.
For a few minutes it was quite awkward. Jay and Res were the only ones on the roof top and after seeing Jay's overwhelming strength, Res couldn't muster the courage to even say something to him.
"Sigh, first of all I'm sorry sir Res, I destroyed the clothes that you gave!", Jay was the first one to speak.
In fact he apologized for the destruction of his father's dress which Res had been treasuring since earlier.
"Ah, no it's alright!", Res replied almost immediatly.
Of course, it was Jay's fathers dress so it was his own will to decide what to do, but considering the fact that Res had been treasuring it all along, he couldn't help but apologize.
No matter how strong Jay was, he never forgot to respect Res. In fact, he never once thought that he was stronger than Res.
Even now he was thinking that he had much room for improvement because all this time he was unconscious and it was evident that Res was the only one who wad able to stop the devil despite the appearance of Akaluman!
"Thanks for helping me Sir!", he said loudly.
"..."
Res didn't have any words to tell. His heart was somewhat heavy. Without his own realization, he had understood that Jay had become far more superior than what David, Jay's father, was when he was his age.
Res tried to change the topic a bit so he asked, "So, you will be taking the rank re-evalution exam tomorrow?"
Jay thought for a bit while scratching his head and then boldy replied, "Yes, if it's possible."
"Hmm..."
Of course, Res had a high authority. Even the leader or captain of the Hunter Association would think twice before offending him, so he could help Jay out with the evalution.
'If...'
'If he is going to take the re-evaluation test tomorrow...'
'Then finally the whole world will know that the fifth S+ rank hunter is born!'
Res already had the idea that Jay surpassed him at many places so he could easily tell that his rank was S+.
"Alright, I'll prepare the stage for you...", Res said.
Jay bowed yet again and thanked him for that. But the talk wasn't over yet.
It seemed as if Res had something more to ask.
"Well, are you serious bout creating your own guild?", Res asked.
"Yes!", Jay answered it almost immediately as if he was completely sure that he wanted the same.
"Sigh, but there will be a lot of proceducres that you would have to go...", Res sighed.
Of course, creating a guild is no child's play. A lot of thinking and proceedures has to be followed.
A large number of man force, many promoters and supporters are required.
More than that, the government has to give the decree of allowing the existence of such a guild.
"So what do you plan on doing with your guild?"
Even for Res, that was quite a foollish question. It was quite obvious why a guild would be made.
No one would be ready to spend millions of money to make such a thing for fun unless he os a psycho.
However, Res asked it because he wanted to know what made Jay think that he would build a guild.
"Haha, isn't that obvious?"
"...", Res looked at him when he started stating his reason.
For some reason, he could see a different image right now. In place of the young Jay, the image of his father in his twenties was flashed.
"It's because I want to bring peace to whole world!"
"I will bring all the guilds under me and then finish this struggle of portals once and for all!", Jay said this while looking at the stary sky.
It was night time, the stars shined beautifully but more than that, in Res' eyes, Jay was shining. His hair was fluttering in the cool breeze while his body was exosed.
The chillness wasn't comparable but what Jay told was worth a million dollars at the least.
"Indeed, you are his son after all...", Res grinned and said.
"Huh?", Jay failed to understand what Res meant initially but after he started to reveal some truth, Jay couldn't help but get shocked.
"What did you just say?", Jay's eyes were widely opened as if they would pop out at any instant.
"I asked, why don't you succeed your dad's guild instead of building one for yourself?", Res repeated himself.
'Lub Dub'
'Lub Dub'
Jay's heart started to faster as he heard the same words again. He could hardly understand what it meant but the words seemed to resound with his heart beat causing a weird chill in his spines.
"Taking over the guild of my father?", he asked.
"Yes... the guild that your father had created..."
"The Guild that stands at the apex of the world!"
"The Guild that entirely gives out the commands to all other Nations and their Guilds..."
"..."
"The 'WORLD' Guild!"
The moment Res said this, Jay got a weird chill again. The word 'World' seemed to have made his heart race faster.
It signified the fact that the Guild stood at the top of the World and probably that was why it was named as such.
But no the question was, how and where the guild was established and even if it was there, why hadn't the news about it ever reached Jay's ears!?
Too many questions were on Jay's mind and he couldn't afford to go mad right now.
He wanted to know everything that was related to his father from Res, because he was the only one who ever stood by Jay's side until his death.
"It's a pity that it was the very same guild that your father created which betrayed him and abandoned him..."
"And the Guild is now managed by that Fucker..."
"..."
"What did you say?"
"The Guild betrayed my Father?", Jay's eyes became like that of dead.
His face seemed to be damn creepy and dead serious the moment he heard about the word betrayal and 'Abandoned'.
*gulp*
The intense bloood lust which Jay liberated made Res take a step back. Perhaps he didn't expect Jay to get aggressive when he heard this.
"Sigh, you siblings are the one and the same..."
"I knew it, I shouldn't have disclosed this to you like I did to May...", Res sighed and just disclosed something else that pushed Jay to edge even more.
"May...? You mean sis? Even sis came to ask you about this?", Jay looked at Res with the eyes of a devil as he asked.
"Huh? Uh... no, I mean yes...", Res was averting his gazes as Jay's stare pierced him.
"Now now, Sir Res, would you mind telling me everything that I am supposed to know...?", Jay asked as he caught Res trying to escape from the place by using a portal.
"Uh..."
'Shit, now do I really have to narrate the entire story to him!?'
To be continued...
