Chapter 43 – The Documentary First
Edited by The Darkest Knight#4796
It took three weeks for Taishi to film these movies, and usually, after filming, production houses do promotions as well as small things like press conferences. Something that Taishi and some of the cast would attend at. Usually, a famous actor in the cast, or the movie's main character.
In other words, I'm very likely to appear at the press conference. No, with a production house related to Strawberry Pro., you could say that I would attract a lot of attention, especially since there would be a lot of reporters interested in Taishi's latest movie after winning awards in the last few movies he did. But this may be the first time I have had this kind of press conference. I had a short interview with Ruby most of the time, and Miyako usually accompanied us.
But that was only in my mind before the planned documentary came out and gained more fame than I expected.
Yeah, in that period of three weeks, the song that I created was finally completed. It was the same as my previous life, but because of that, I needed to supervise that piece of music. On the other hand, it looked like the dance choreography of my music had also finished. The new idol group herself already had a name which was Starlight.
Once Mem-cho, Sora, and Rin Idol Group's name were decided, the plan to introduce them began. As Ichigo said, as a big company, I would get to use as much promotional money as I wanted to promote the new idol group. Then I could use various methods that I thought would be very successful.
I didn't know whether this plan would be successful or not. But in the nine years that I had reincarnated in this world, almost all the plans made following the things I knew from my past worlds had always succeeded. In other words, I did not doubt that this plan would succeed.
It was similar to a program or a reality tv show about B-Komachi, Strawberry Pro and the new group idol. B-Komachi itself was already such a hot topic, the same as Strawberry Pro, which became famous with the V-tuber thing and became a global phenomenon. The last was the new group idol.
Strawberry Production, a small company in the past, made a popular idol group B-Komachi from nowhere with their center, Ai, who became a phenomenal multi-talent Idol. Once again, creating another group idol after more than ten years of never making another one.
It was, of course, making such a huge buzz. But in the end, because of a small track record, the company became famous for V-tubers and online creator stuff. The number of people who entered the audition was fewer than big idol companies. Even so, the announcement of a new group Idol created a buzz in their community about the possibility that this new idol group could become another legend, but it slowly faded away. But the buzz rose again when the documentary about B-Komachi hit the internet.
The documentary focused on B-Komachi, whose members had their own segment. It was about their songs, life and other things. Of course, to make the documentary interesting, they put anyone from Strawberry Pro in the documentary, so sometimes, rather than a documentary, it felt like a reality tv show.
Oh, well. I didn't care since the most important thing would be whether the show was interesting or not. One of the famous from those segments was the interview with the center of B-Komachi, Ai and the first V-tuber from Strawberry Pro, Kizuna Ai. It was the most viewed segment when those segment clips dropped on Youtube.
The most important thing said in those interviews were two things. The first thing was talking about their upcoming concert that will be held soon. And the second was that anyone finally mentioned the new idol group for the first time in the documentary.
"I heard Strawberry Pro is making a new idol group. What do you think of them?"
"Ah, they're good kids, and I like them. They practice diligently, and it is easy for me to coach them." Ai answered the question without covering anything up.
"Mentoring?"
"Well, I taught them how to perform a few times..."
"Is that so?"
"Well, it was the first time we had juniors, so it was a nice experience."
Ai talked about the new idol group in a happy tone, and from their conversation, she looked as pleased as she could be. Their talk about the new idol group did not take long, but the conversation immediately made it to the internet. People made several forums and internet articles about those conversations within an hour.
Several comments about B-Komachi, Ai and the new Idol group were massive but not trending…
[ Till this point, I only found out about their announcement. ]
[ Yeah, we never see their appearance or stuff? ]
[I'm curious about them. ]
[I wonder what they are like? When I heard that Ai was mentoring them, I was quite thrilled.]
[ B-Komachi already had been around for ten years, and these days, they had been busy with their own activity. ]
[ If this continues, they may graduate, right? ]
[ Ai mentoring them!! I wonder if this may pass the torch in Strawberry Pro. ]
[ NO!! I don't want them to graduate!! ]
The reaction mixed, but most of them had a good and more positive attitude. I planned to make Starlight have a good introduction and, at the same time, to make my comeback much more prominent than ever. These documentaries helped a lot after all, and I didn't miss letting this chance go.
At first, I thought that my first after a long hiatus would be in the movies. But after seeing what actually happened, it felt like a good thing to make another hype by another means and make an appearance in this documentary such a good move to make another promotion on my movies too.
That's why we made a special episode of Ruby and I in that documentary. Well, of course, Ai would be in there too. It was a rather hot topic when we were announcing that episode. Even though Ruby wasn't as famous as Mai or Kana, she was still a household famous child entertainer, especially as a rising child popstar and, as not only her twin brother but a famous child actor that got a hiatus because of an accident in the past, and it would be my first appearance in public after those horrifying accidents.
Of course, I am pretty sure the documentary would be brought to the public's attention due to the presence of Ai, who was also involved in the incident. People's curiosity was pretty high about this topic.
Well, because of that, I couldn't refuse or waste the opportunity to appear in a documentary that would attract the attention of many people and provide high ratings.
I wonder what kind of aftermath I will get after the documentary. I hope I will have a good episode to obtain an article worthy of public attention. To be honest, I felt a bit anxious and maybe afraid for a bit. I wondered if I would do this right.
But it looked like that episode was successful since it had the most significant approval rating of the documentary
