At the Solar System’s Pluto Star Field, the second wave of battle was about to begin. Fleets from the three major planets and other planets had been assembled. This was the full strength of the Solar System. The huge fleet has surpassed the Maacah Republic’s coalition forces. This was the strength of the Solar System, to strike fear into their enemies, for them to find out the true strength of the Solar System.

Drachmach and the rest were initially worried, but with this scale, they were now more confident. Most importantly, victory brought about unity and hope, and helped to concentrate all resources from the Solar System. To say it plainly, the Solar System was only suited to fight battles which it could win.

With a fleet of this scale, Drachmach hoped that the enemy would retreat, as in this fleet, there were many people that were here just to fill the numbers. Some patrol teams were even added to help create this vast fleet. With regards to their fighting potential, Drachmach was clear of it. Hence, he needed to use this fleet appropriately.

Other than this, the sole two Heaven-ranks of the Solar System were involved in this battle: Shelley Ritter Doyle from Doyle family and Lie Shuangtian from Lie family. This was the reason the Solar System was able to maintain its status quo, due to the presence of the ancient arts families. It was not possible for Heaven-rank experts to come from Earth, Moon, Mars endlessly, maintaining the current standards. This generation of Chronos family did not appear on Earth, which led to a weakened Solar System.

This battle was important to both parties, but they could be sure that the Maacah Republic would send out Heaven-rank warriors as well. In a galactic battle, Heaven-rank experts were of high strategic value, used to target enemy planetary level battleships, or for defense, this is dependent on both parties’ strengths.

For this battle, the whole Solar System has high hopes, the three major planets, and media of various space cities, have flooded the news to raise morale, saying to not just destroy the enemy, but to destroy their homes as well, for them to realize their mistake and pay the price for it.

On the other side, the Maacah Republic coalition forces had finished their preparations. The Darkness Empire has increased the number of troops to ensure the quick defeat of the Solar System. The Darkness Empire was indeed efficient; this was a quality of empires. When it came to ambition, they had to be efficient. Hence, the second wave of reinforcements arrived. At the same time, they added on a member hoping to pick up the scraps: Ghana Star.

The Darkness Empire’s three Heaven-rank experts arrived at the coalition forces. Against the number of fleets from Solar System, Allen Porter and Iyerta Laboge did not seem to care. The Solar System’s situation was no secret – the huge fleet had limited fighting potential. Drachmach was not so foolish as to put the weaker forces in the main fleet. The Solar System could only fight battles that it could clearly win, and this time, they did not fear an attack from the rear. To be honest, if the Norton Star was attacked once again, it would not matter. After the first round, this battle was going to thoroughly destroy the Solar System. The aim of the coalition forces was simple: to get close to the Solar System and strike through!

Drachmach employed a three-pronged attack, with him, Meng Ao, and Lie Wuqing leading three separate fleets, directly attacking. This will be followed by Qiang Sen leading the combined fleet. Qiang Sen was the newest rising star. From his age, he might not be a new star, but this person was experienced. He started as a normal soldier and worked his way to the special forces. While on hiatus in the middle, he was redeployed. From his outstanding performances in wiping out pirates and international missions, and uncomplicated background, this resulted in a fleet containing galactic patrol teams and some maintenance fleets being under his command.

Qiang Sen understood his mission: to take the brunt of the firepower, also known as cannon fodder. Qiang Sen was clear of the current situation. There were some who were still able to think clearly. To win this battle, they would need to risk their lives. Hence, he was willing to take up this mission, or to say, every mission he had taken up had put his life in danger.

The vast fleets appeared on the screens of both parties, and lasers began blasting before long, lighting up the skies. The commanders of both parties were strong, constantly changing formations, exchanging blows, Countless mech warriors were deployed, and simply by numbers, the Solar System would not lose.

Allen Porter was looking at the screen, and after exchanging a few blows, he had a rough understanding of the Solar System’s level. While the Maacah Republic’s decline was bad, the Solar System’s decline was far worse, and this could only be realized through fighting each other. The Maacah Republic did not have a sense of superiority like the Solar System, hence they made changes after realizing they were declining, while the Solar System did not.

From this battle, Allen Porter had a sense that the Darkness Empire’s strength was beyond theirs. In a battle, reputation did not matter. Countries like the Darkness Empire, Sirius, Manalasuo, and the rest that are rapidly developing displayed military strength which they were unable to compare themselves with. Luckily, the Maacah Republic had made the right decision. Sometimes, victory could not be simply obtained through brute strength, but through wits, and being on the right side of the war could bring them benefits.

There was nothing special about the Solar System, from its commanders to the fleet itself. This was to say there would not be any surprises from them. The younger generation, such as Achilles and the rest, was decent. However, they were too inexperienced. They had yet to reach the stage where they were able to shoulder the burden, and the Darkness Empire was more than enough to deal with them. Talent had to grow in both quality and quantity. Allen Porter would not deny that Achilles and the rest were excellent, but they had yet to reach the level where they could turn the tides. They may be able to improve the fighting potential of their own fleets by a bit, but that was all.

The unstable element of the Solar System was Heaven-rank experts. Hence, for this, they were well prepared. As long as their Heaven-ranks were able to win, it would indicate the end of this battle.

The Heaven-ranks of the winning side would be able to carry destructive damage on the enemy’s planetary-level battleships. While it might end in the Heaven-ranks of both sides destroying each other, be it either situation, Allen Porter foresaw the destruction of the Solar System’s fleet.

On Mars, Sage Odin’s expression was as calm as water, and from his eyes, he seemed to have accepted it. He may have foreseen the Solar System’s defeat. Fate was unpredictable. Knowing may be a good thing, but to him, this was nothing but a curse looming over the Sage Sect. In the past, the disciples of the Sage Sect had significant fighting prowess, but due to inheritance, each generation of successors had enough on their plates from fighting against this insane “curse”. To know fate and to forget fate, how would they survive.
