Players could choose to play from the perspective of either the heroine ‘Yeniel’ or the villainess ‘Evelyn.’

I looked at my brother in pity as he screamed the moment the scene of the mansion distorting appeared in the prologue.

“Hey. Are you crazy?”

I was the one controlling the game, but my brother, sitting next to me, was the one trembling in fear, clinging to a blanket and hugging a cushion. It was a pathetic sight.

It was the scene where blood-soaked hands were knocking on the banquet hall’s windows all at once.

“You said you’ve seen all 100 endings. What exactly are you scared of?”

“I can’t help it! It’s scary! Aaah!”

“If you’re scared of this, how did you get through the rest?”

Honestly, I wasn’t a fan of games, especially horror games where the protagonist is constantly being chased and must escape.

The only reason I played horror games was because my cowardly and unskilled brother begged me to clear them for him because he found them too difficult.

Unlike my brother, I had a knack for games. I had good so-called ‘physical’ skills. Whenever my brother asked me to take vision and reaction speed tests, I consistently scored in the top 1%.

But to be honest, “The Archmage’s Mansion” was a relatively easy game that could be cleared even without my level of ‘physical’ skills.

It’s just that there were so many jump scares and fear-inducing elements.

As long as you didn’t make any mistakes, the player’s faction could survive and escape most of the time.

Thankfully, the comic relief side character who alleviated the dark atmosphere, the idiot young lady April, appeared on the screen.

Her red lips, slightly parted in a mysterious manner, and her white dress made her look like an angel, but….

April, the only young lady of the Sharon family and their precious youngest daughter, grew up gracefully but, like her family, was pure-minded.

Thanks to her, April provided lighthearted comedic scenes or events to ease the player’s tension.

However, during the late stages of the game, when the horror atmosphere intensified, April always died.

With my brother, who kept alternating between trembling and laughing, beside me, I continued to progress through the latter half of the game.

Since you couldn’t see the true ending in the first playthrough, we had to play through it twice.

Finally, after finishing the final boss battle and sending the character to the mirror.
