Chapter 56: I Will Come Back To Find You
The tent suddenly lifted up, and the Goth Princess and Mimi quickly dashed out of it. Instantly, countless magic arrows shot toward them. However, a circle of earthy yellow magic light suddenly appeared around the Goth Princess, blocking all the magic arrows from penetrating through.
“A defensive magic device!” Qi Bei raised an eyebrow, but he didn’t find it strange at all. With enough wealth, one could purchase magic devices that could release high-level magic spells.
At this moment, the Goth princess raised a glowing metal tube and aimed it at the formation of soldiers. With a press of a button, a beam of light shot out from the dark metal tube.
“Holy shit, it’s a laser emitter,” Qi Bei exclaimed, his pupils shrinking. He clapped his hand in midair, causing several Black Armored soldiers to be pushed back.
The beam of light pierced through the chests of two caravan guards, tearing apart the formation in an instant. If it weren’t for Qi Bei pushing back the Black Armored soldiers, their fate would have been imaginable.
The Goth Princess and Mimi rushed out, and a group of black-armored soldiers quickly surrounded them. Just then, Mimi raised the metal tube behind him and pressed a button. The Black Armored soldiers, who were already prepared, quickly dodged to the sides.
With a loud “boom,” Mimi let out a cry of pain, and his hand holding the metal tube exploded into pieces. The metal tube that could emit terrifying beams of light became distorted, and the light on it had already dimmed.
The Goth Princess’s expression changed. This weapon called the Energy Tube was made from the remnants of the Goblin civilization. However, since it was made from remnants, the things created were flawed. Although this thing was extremely powerful, it was highly unstable and could only be fired three times at most. If luck was not on one’s side, it would explode on the first shot, just like what happened to Mimi. If it weren’t for the critical situation they were in, she wouldn’t have risked taking out this thing.
“Hua Hua, you go quickly, don’t mind me.” Mimi shouted heroically.
The Goth Princess’s eyes flickered with a trace of reluctance. Suddenly, she drew a dagger from her other hand and plunged it into Mimi’s heart like lightning.
“Hua Hua… you…” Mimi opened his mouth wide. He was ready to sacrifice his life to protect the Princess, but he never expected her to be the one to send him on his way.
In the moment before he lost consciousness, Mimi suddenly understood. He knew too much, and the Princess was afraid that he would not be able to withstand the torture and reveal the secret if he was captured alive, so she silenced him first.
“What a ruthless woman,” Qi Bei thought. He jumped up like a hawk towards the Goth Princess, confident that he could break through the earth-type magic defense shield on her body with the internal energy of his Divine Dragon Art.
But at this moment, the Goth Princess was once again enveloped in a blue magical light and was lifted by a gust of wind out of the sheltered valley.
Qi Bei refused to give up, and the internal energy of his Divine Dragon Art reached its peak as he shot toward the Goth Princess with great speed.
His hand was covered in a sharp, golden light like a cone, and it instantly broke through the magic defense shield on her body, grabbing hold of her clothes.
With a “si” sound, Qi Bei tore off her clothes and she fell helplessly to the ground.
At this point, the Goth Princess turned her head, revealing a completely different and stunningly beautiful face.
“Qi Bei Nord, I will come back to find you,” the Goth Princess’s voice echoed with anger in the air, but she had already disappeared into the wind and snow.
Qi Bei rolled over in the snow and stood up, roaring in frustration. He was so close, just a little bit more and he could have torn her down.
Suddenly, Qi Bei realized that something was wrong with the clothes he had torn off the Goth Princess. Upon closer inspection, he was astonished to find a fake belly stuck to it, and a fake leather mask on the collar.
“Master, we can’t catch up. The wind magic device triggered by her contained the sealed King-grade wind magic – the Wing of the Storm,” Xiao Jiu, who had arrived in front of Qi Bei, whispered. Although she was a dual-wind and earth magic user, her wind magic only reached the advanced level, the same as a Senior mage.
“Forget it,” Qi Bei put the Goth Princess’s clothes of disguise into his spatial ring and returned to the sheltered valley.
The bloody battle in the valley had come to an end. The remaining dozen or so goth merchants and Lone Eye’s mercenary group had collapsed after the escape of their leader. They had no more fighting spirit and surrendered one by one, most of them being killed by the enraged Black Armored soldiers.
After all, Qi Bei had given orders to leave no one alive.
“Stop,” Qi Bei ordered, seeing only three goth merchants and about ten guards left. He was ready to extract some useful information from them.
The Black Armored Army, with their bloodthirsty aura, stopped their slaughter. At this point, the sheltered valley was filled with the pungent smell of blood. The mutilated bodies were scattered all over the ground.
The other merchant caravans and travelers in the valley stared fearfully at the Black Armored soldiers, afraid that they would kill everyone indiscriminately, including them.
The three beautiful elven girls, on the other hand, remained calm, surveying Qi Bei and his soldiers back and forth with their eyes and whispering to each other from time to time.
As it was still late at night and a blizzard was raging, Qi Bei ordered his troops to camp and rest in the sheltered valley.
That night, the others in the valley were destined to not have a peaceful sleep. On the one hand, they were afraid of the Black Armored soldiers, and on the other hand, they heard the sounds of the three captured Goth merchants being slaughtered like pigs.
Qi Bei sat in his tent with the disguise clothes of the Goth Princess in front of him, and the delicate and soft hands of Huan Ying were gently massaging his shoulders.
One had to admit that these clothes of disguise were cleverly made, and at least he couldn’t see through them. Qi Bei reached out and tapped the fake belly, and a muffled sound came from it, as if it was solid.
However, why would a fake belly need to be made of such a hard material instead of a soft one? This made Qi Bei feel that this fake belly was not so simple.
Qi Bei waved his hand, and the black long sword appeared in his palm, with a three-inch golden sword light flickering at the tip, aimed at the fake belly.
But to Qi Bei’s surprise, there was not even a shallow trace left on the fake belly.
Qi Bei tried a few more times, but still made no progress. This thing was really strange, and he couldn’t think of any material he knew of that was as hard as this.
Qi Bei became a little impatient and slapped the fake belly with his left hand.
“Young Master…” Huan Ying behind him was about to tell Qi Bei to calm down.
But Qi Bei suddenly froze and waved his hand to interrupt Huan Ying’s words. Just as he slapped the fake belly with his hand, the Dragon Seal on the palm of his hand suddenly reacted.
Qi Bei pressed his left hand on the fake belly again, and suddenly felt the Dragon Seal started emitting a strong suction force.
The fake belly, which had been motionless all along trembled slightly, as if there was something inside resisting the suction force of the Dragon Seal with all its might.
Finally, the force inside began to give in little by little, and a strange energy was sucked out and entered into the Dragon Seal.
