Aria paused for a moment to think before saying, "It's like they are planning for something big, and don't want anyone to know."

Leaning back and putting his head on Rin's thigh, Erix added, "This clan has some secret stuff and we can agree on that. Terrapin clans also had their reasons to stay secretive, but they sought an alliance."

"And there is this Zerian demon clan," Rin thoughtfully nodded rubbing Erix's forehead. "They are definitely up to something. Changing locations, staying secretive…It defeats the whole purpose of them coming here."

Erix and others knew from the Moondawn Elf clan about how this system of various clans appearing here worked. Mystic Root gave such clans opportunities and a path with rewards and safety.

Only by attaching themselves to natives could these nearly extinct clans from various worlds progress because the most rewarding things were only acquired through natives.

But Amu popped like a balloon and vanished before appearing near Erix. "Brat, this is my first mission and I shall complete it. No more playing."

"Haha, you can do it, Amu." Erix grinned and gave a thumbs-up. "Infiltrate them, keep your connection with us using your strong spiritual power. Once you have found their plan and marked their clan, we can try some things."

His eyes showed a ferocious light as he added, "This is a passing opportunity. If we can benefit, we'll benefit greatly."

"Better if they got some of their clan's special items or other stuff like Moondawn Elf clan's Nature Star Tree," Rin grinned. "Our island is plenty empty for exotic resources like that."

Of course, their moment was bound to be interrupted by monsters.
