SLIM SHADY The Butcher of Detroit 3 ∆M

Chapter 45: Chapitre 44

A month had passed since Marshall's disappearance, and the police were still actively searching for him. But their efforts had yielded no results so far. Despite their best efforts, they had been unable to uncover any leads or clues that could help locate him, leaving many to wonder if he had fled the state or if he was still hiding somewhere nearby, waiting for the perfect moment to strike again. The tension in the town was almost suffocating, as everyone seemed to be holding their breath, waiting for the next tragedy to unfold.

The lack of progress and the fear that another attack could happen at any moment had left them feeling frustrated and hopeless. Still, they refused to give up and remained determined to bring Marshall to justice and restore peace to their community.

Meanwhile, while the police was activly searching for him, Marshall Mathers, aka Slim Shady or the Butcher of Detroit, had already left Delaware. He find his way to make it near the borders, hidden away and out of sight.

He was aware that he had become the most wanted criminal in the area and the fear of getting caught was always present in his mind. He knew that even a small mistake could cost him his freedom. He had changed his appearance and was now traveling incognito. He kept a low profile, constantly moving from one location to another, never staying in one place for too long. He had always been good at hiding and avoiding confrontation, and places with high security presence. He was determined to stay ahead of them, to outsmart them in every way possible.

The police, however, remained vigilant and had already received reports of his escape. They had alerted the border guards and were working with the local authorities to hunt him down before he could slip away and escape their reach. Despite the distance he had managed to put between himself and the crime scene, Marshall knew he couldn't let his guard down and he continued to evade the search forces.

He had found a place to lay low in remote village near the border, while planning his next move. He knew that the police would stop at nothing to catch him and would use every resource at their disposal to track him down. The fear of being discovered and the thrill of the chase had become his constant companions, and he knew that every day could be his last.

The sound of the police helicopter as it flew over the village, searching for any sign of him, was a constant reminder of the danger he was in. He knew he had to be careful and stay in the shadows, hiding from the law and from the people who wanted to bring him to justice. The clock was ticking, and he knew that his time was running out.

Despite the constant fear of being discovered, Marshall couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement and thrill as he evaded the police. He had always been a rebel, and the risk of getting caught only added to the adrenaline of the chase.

For him, the thought of getting caught was always there in the back of his head, but it was a small price to pay for the freedom he now had. He was determined to keep moving and outsmart the police, and to live the life that he had always wanted, away from the constraints and expectations of society.

However, despite the magnitude of his crimes, He showed no signs of remorse or regret for his brutal crimes. His lack of remorse was apparent in his actions. He seemed to be completely unapologetic for the pain and suffering he had caused. Instead, he seemed to revel in the terror he had caused, taking pleasure in the fear and shock that his actions had instilled in the community.

He had no empathy or compassion for the suffering he had inflicted, seeing his actions as a means to an end, rather than a senseless act of violence.

It was clear that he was a psychopath who cared nothing for the well-being of others, and his continued freedom was a danger to everyone around him.

Despite his callous indifference towards the victims and their families, Marshall couldn't help but think of Emily constantly. He was consumed by thoughts of her, wondering where she was, what she was doing, and if she was safe. He missed the way her hair smelled, the sound of her laughter and the warmth of her touch. He deeply missed her presence in his life. He was haunted by the memories of their time together and the way she had looked at him with trust and adoration.

He could not erase her from his thoughts, and he found himself constantly drawn back to her, like a moth to a flame.

He was preoccupied with the question of how the young woman now viewed him. He wondered if she hated him, if his crimes had shattered her image of him and left only disgust and contempt in its wake.

This thought consumed him and he found it difficult to shake off. He tried to convince himself that it didn't matter, that Emily's opinion of him was no longer important, but the truth was that her opinion meant everything to him. He felt a deep connection to her, and the thought of losing her love and respect was unbearable.

He had put a charade to fool her, but he had also found himself falling for her, and now he was left feeling empty and hollow without her in his. He longed for the young woman's love and forgiveness, but he knew that he had destroyed any possibility of that ever happening.

He was also consumed with worry and concern for her well-being. He wondered if she was taking care of herself, if she had the support and care she needed to carry the pregnancy to term. He had caused her so much harm, and the thought of her going through this alone broke his heart.

He couldn't help but think of the baby, his baby, growing inside her. He wondered if the baby was healthy, if Emily was experiencing any complications. He wanted to be there for her, to support her and to take care of her, but he knew that it was an impossible dream. He felt a pang of guilt for leaving her alone to go through something so life-changing and emotionally draining.

He wished he could reach out to her, comfort her and tell her that he was sorry for putting her through this but he knew it was too late for that. He had destroyed everything between them, and there was no going back. But his love for her remained, and it was tearing him apart.
