30 – Blacksmith!

PART 1 – Fortress and Forge!
—————————
Northwest of the Duchy of Veremor – Makal Fortress.
This is one of the main fortresses of the Duchy, the strongest and with the best investments, especially because it is connected to the only quick-access pass to the Krugar Mountains.
Every year, orcs and half-breeds come down from the mountains to cause trouble in the duchy, where stationed garrisons impede the orcs' advance and plunder.
And today, an army consisting of 5,000 Soldiers, 1,000 mercenaries, and 300 adventurers officially arrived.
Leading them was Duchess Letiphia Veremor herself, who, when the Commander of the Fortress, someone very close to Letiphia and her late husband's brother, saw her, was amazed.
Letiphia has always been a charming, beautiful, and extremely cold woman, with a striking appearance but a heavy atmosphere, especially after the death of her husband.
But now she looked different—younger, sharper, more seductive... Commander Marcus Okarma, a Master Knight and Aura user, was speechless and almost mesmerized when he saw her.
He composed himself. - “Duchess, you are as beautiful as ever; I even dare to say that you are even more beautiful than when I saw you a few months ago.” - He said this with bright eyes, bending down and kissing the back of her hand.
“Miguel, I see that you have become a little stronger, as expected of my nephew.” - Marcus looked at the handsome, tall, muscular, and young knight who loyally follows Letiphia.
Miguel bowed respectfully to his uncle.
The weather appeared to be pleasant, and when Letiphia and her group of lackeys and servants were invited to the castle, the rest of the troops—soldiers, adventurers, and mercenaries—were assigned to large installations that were barracks, as well as many tents and military barracks.
Letiphia, according to her brother-in-law, went to a spacious office, where she began to ask about the latest relevant news.
……
While Letiphia was taking care of official matters, adventurers and mercenaries were already securing the best tents. Supplies were being delivered, and as it was time to rest, suddenly a lot of drinks appeared for everyone to keep warm.
Rich Zenyo, powerful and overly confident that he is, chose the best location and then set up a magical tent for himself and his group. Initially, he only targeted Skarla, but she is a more difficult woman than anyone he has tried in the past, and her wealth would not easily work on her, regardless of how many mountains of gold he throws at her.
But this didn't discourage him, but excited him more and more, making him desire even more this woman who is almost 2 times his size in height, because if it's in terms of muscle mass, it's almost 4 times, or maybe 5?
Whatever the case, Zenyo decided on another type of approach to reach Skarla's heart, as he already understood that she has a relationship with Viper and Calah, which he believes to be a lesbian relationship. He was even more content with the three beauties of just one time.
…
Night fell, and Skarla, in front of a fire, drank the expensive beer that Zenyo served her. He was like a kind of servant to her, doing everything she asked or told her if Zenyo was around, and Skarla showed the slightest interest in him. something, he will rush to buy or explain.
This was annoying; it's the first time someone is spoiling her so much, and as a result, everyone is making fun of the fact, forgetting that Skarla can literally crush every bone, organ, and muscle in their body with one or two punches, then transform them into a goo.
But luckily for them and the reason for the provocation, Skarla is no longer a bloodthirsty woman, at least not for her allies.
Now, about the sexual act. Skarla played a lot with Viper and Calah during the trip; it's surprising how someone's mind can work. Even with Zenyo hearing so many obvious vulgarities—the screams, the vigorous shock of flesh, the howls of pleasure.
The obvious bulge between Skarla's legs is caused by Calah, who constantly touches on certain topics that obviously relate to Skarla.
Nevertheless, Zenyo is oblivious to the fact that he is in a relationship with a woman whose genitalia comprises nearly half of her body.
(Author: At first I made this a joke, taking advantage of the fact that except for Charisma, Zenyo has relatively low and decent modifiers in other attributes; it wouldn't be difficult to notice Skarla's volume, but the damn thing takes away 2 Critical Errors in a row, one for Perception, another for Intelligence! To make matters worse, while I was secretly playing more dice to decide some interactions, the bastard got me another Critical Error for Intelligence, so I don't care anymore. Unless Skarla rubs her dick in his face, he won't notice, and even if he does, he won't believe or reason that that's it. In other words, his mind is practically erasing associations of [Skarla] + [Futanari] = Skarla is a Futanari!)
Apart from Zenyo, who was a bit annoying and ignorant about many matters related to Skarla, the group didn't have much activity during the march.
Adventurers were left to hunt in the forest and wild areas for fresh meat. Even though the army had a lot of supplies stored, it's always good to have more, which they took advantage of to purge some monster nests along the way. Letiphia really is using her and the nation's money as much as she can.
Now is the time to rest before everyone is sent to their deaths. Skarla is already missing her wives at home and her daughter, as well as really wanting to find her second son, but unfortunately she is busy.
…
“Skarla, how about we go take a look at the forge?” - Holga came to Skarla relaxing. The tall and muscular young woman, full of confidence in her strength, had become more submissive and even scared in Skarla's presence.
The reason for this? It's not that Skarla has touched her in a sexual way; she hasn't crossed that line yet, just that Holga has started to be instructed by her alongside Sasha. Needless to say, Skarla doesn't take it easy, especially with Holga, who is already level 10. She can take a little more.
And the results of a few weeks of training were remarkable. Holga improved so much that even she didn't believe it was possible, but the cost was that her muscles hurt every day; it feels like they're going to break at any moment. Lucky for her, Phinel had healing magic and some herbs to relax her muscles.
Sasha was a little jealous; when she started training, she didn't have the help of a Nature Mage to treat her body.
“I forgot your gun broke, but why are you calling me?” - Skarla raised an eyebrow.
“Didn’t you say something about wanting some weapons or armor? I heard that in the fortress there are some of the best blacksmiths and armorers in the Empire; the strongest weapons and armor are forged here, and the price is not very high.” - Holga said with shining eyes.
“I have no use for armor, but a good weapon would come in handy, but... I hardly find anything suitable unless I forge it myself.” - She said that for her to use weapons proficiently, she would need something capable of resonating with her aura.
It turns out that in this world, so far she hasn't found any weapon or armor with energy circuits, which amplify the effect of someone's aura. She thought about forging it but was too focused on leveling up. In the end, She is only 20 years old; she needs time if she wants to develop everything she wants.
"Ok, I will take a look." - Skarla got up, and Holga was excited.
…
In less than 20 minutes, they arrived at an area with several forging workshops. Smoke rose into the air, to the point where it was a little difficult to breathe. The smell of soot was thick, and the constant clash of metals echoed like a symphony.
‘This doesn’t bring back pleasant memories…’ - Skarla thought about the past and her inhumane acts, but soon recovered and followed Holga, who seemed to know where she was taking her.
It didn't take long for them to reach the most populated area, where many adventurers and mercenaries came to try to get their hands on good things and request custom orders.
Skarla watched, and they soon entered one of the main forges. Holga was already observing some axes and swords, and Skarla, not seeing anything interesting, observed Holga's choice.
The young girl's eyes sparkled, evaluating each sword and ax, as Skarla said. - “If you want to have a good blade, let's go to that forge next door; the weapons here are nothing but attractive.”
Her words surprised Holga, who stopped looking at the weapons and focused her attention on her. - "Like this?"
“Come on, let me explain it better.” - Skarla said, but first she slid her fingers along the cold metal of the weapons that Holga was interested in.
Then, leaving the store, where three people were following them, Skarla noticed them and ignored them. Arriving at the store next door with less movement, Holga raised an eyebrow. The quality of the items didn't seem that good.
Skarla, without saying anything, found a sword that looked like the one Holga had her eye on, touching it and smiling. - “It's as I predicted; whoever forged these weapons dedicated themselves to them.” - She said calmly.
"I don't understand." - Holga said.
“In that shop, the materials and tools used are of high quality; respectively, the blacksmith’s skill is decent; he created good-quality weapons and armor, but... things are different here. Unfortunately, the quality of the material is a little lower, but the dedication and talent of those who forged it are remarkable.”
“Do you know why I don’t use a gun?” - Skarla asked, and Holga said. - “Because you are a boxer."
“Because even large blades would deform with my strength, if I used my aura, these weapons would have a greatly reduced useful life, and repair would become impossible, but do you know the reason for that?”
Holga nodded in refusal.
“Aura is an energy that flows, but to flow, it needs a path, like water in a river. If there is no correct flow, it will result in something like a dam; at some point, the energy coming in will be so great that it will break. The damage that aura causes to weapons without good energy circulation will cause their internal destruction, making repair impossible.”
“The reason I bring up this subject is that in the forge we were in before, the weapons were made with good materials, by the best tools, and by capable hands, but there was a lack of talent. Here, the purity of the materials is not the best, but whoever forged them is talented, having an eye for finding flaws as well as the patience and dedication to continually temper the metal until it no longer has any flaws.”
“This blade, even if it doesn't have a decent flow or a glossy and attractive appearance, has greater durability and an ideal balance. If you ask yourself, What's the point of the blade having a good flow for Aura when you can't use it?” - Skarla smiled and explained.
“Aura is an active flow of energy, but energy is something that everyone has; whether you want it or not, you manifest your energy around you, and when you use active skills, you manifest this energy mainly in the weapon you are using. So when using a weapon with a good energy flow, in addition to it lasting longer in your hands with the use of skills, even if you don't use them, it will be better, as it has greater durability.”
“For adventurers and mercenaries level 10 or below who constantly change weapons and armor, having a reliable blade that will earn you at least 3 to 4 times the cost spent on it will naturally be the biggest advantage. Without mentioning that the quality is practically the same, the difference is the more striking appearance that only serves to sell.”
“Not to mention that, Holga, you are learning from me; my aura is much stronger than conventional knights or aura masters, another reason why even legendary weapons are useless and fragile in my hands. If you learn from me, you will have the same problem, but in the future, I will teach you how to forge your own weapons.” - Skarla said calmly, and Holga's eyes shone.
Clap! Clap! Clap!
“Impressive words, but I thought it was real nonsense!” - A dwarf man approached, clapping his hands and laughing mockingly. - “Do you want to show off in front of the girl, savage? Stop talking nonsense!”
Skarla looked at him. - “Your opinion is not important to me, don’t get involved in other people’s affairs.” - Skarla said, snorting with some disdain.
“You insult my work and that of my students, how come this is not my business?” - He growled.
Skarla sighed. - “What’s my fault that you guys are lazy and don’t even know about how energy flows?”
“And that’s why I say it’s nonsense! I come from a family that is over 600 years old. My family has been forging for centuries, and we have created legendary and almost divine items. Now you’re telling me you know something my family doesn’t?” - He laughed disdainfully and with anger shining in his eyes.
Skarla, quite calmly, laughed, extending a hand and said. - “Watch carefully, I will reduce it by 10 times so that you and others can observe.” - In his words, she calmly activated her Aura, involving her fist in a pure aura, which startled everyone and the dwarf in front was already worried.
“I purposely delayed the coverage of my aura for my fist to about 1 second. For someone at my level, one second is extremely important; it dictates our life and death. Aura can be used for attack, physical strengthening, and also for protection. Delaying more than that is asking for death!”
Skarla then picked up one of the blades on the wall, where she calmly let everyone see the Aura rise from her elbow, until it touched the blade and quickly bluish energy covered the entire sword. - “About 1.7 seconds, hand me the sword at your waist, you were the one who forged it, right?” - Skarla extended her hand.
The snarling man drew his beautiful sword, looking quite sharp and also having some magic installed.
Skarla, extending both swords, allowed everyone to see the aura rise from her elbows until they touched the hilt of the swords and then rose to the blades, where, surprisingly, the energy ran faster through the magic blade, about 0.1 seconds faster.
“From what I can see, mine was faster.” - The dwarf laughed but was careful with his body language because if he angered an Aura Master, not even the duchess could save him.
“And you’re proud of that?” - A voice came from behind, an old dwarf with a long gray beard who had been in the corner watching, growled. - “My sword in your hands is a low-quality product in my store, while your sword is obviously a magical blade that must have taken at least 2 years to forge. In the end his blade was only what, a few thousandths of a second faster? Not to mention that the blade of his sword is 3cm smaller. Are you still proud?”
“Berard!” - The dwarf who owned the magic sword growled.
“He's right, but it's not the magic in the sword that makes it a little faster, but the quality of the material. The material has greater energy absorption; I would say 5 to 6 times more, but even with this advantage, the victory was by such a short margin that it only makes me disappointed with the skill, talent, and lack of vision of the blacksmith, and if it’s you who forged it, get better.” - Said Skarla, giving him back the sword.
“Berard, right? Are you the one who forged these weapons?” - Skarla asked.
“The lady himself.” - Berard said proudly, his mood at its peak, as he managed to see his rival humiliated.
“Your weapons are good; I see your dedication and talent. I’m not saying some kind of majestic talent, but rather a talent for noticing the flaws in your products; you fix them, and your dedication to that is what makes me praise you.”
Berard stood with his head high, smiling proudly.
“But its strength is somewhat regrettable; the quality of the materials and the technique used make me think it’s child’s play. While his weapons lack dedication, yours lack quality and discipline.” - Skarla said, and Berard blushed.
“I see talent in you; what do you think about signing a contract with me? I am willing to invest in you, and I am also willing to teach you methods of creating a better flow of energy in your creations.” - Skarla, not expecting a response, extended her arm with Berard's blade still drawn.
What followed was an intense flame that came suddenly. The environment became hotter, and the sword quickly turned red, almost melting. When electricity manifested itself, the entire blade vibrated and began to create fissures.
Skarla stopped, extending her hand. A grayish aura manifested; this is her fourth and last manifested mantra [Metal God Mantra], related to the Metal (Earth) Element in Murim.
She forcibly forced the metal of the blade to harden, then used the [Wind God Mantra] to cool it, where she repeated the process, filling it with electricity.
For 15 minutes, intense energies manifested themselves continuously, until finally Skarla ceased his confused act in the eyes of everyone, where the blade slowly cooled down.
Smart Berard brought a bucket of water, and Skarla put it inside. The water bubbled, and when she took it out, anyone smart enough would notice that it was a high-quality blade, which even has magical vibrations.
Berard and the other dwarf looked on in shock. They couldn't understand what just happened.
“I used my aura to continually push the sword to its limits, creating flows with electricity, using fire to shape it, using wind to cool it, and using metal to fortify it to continue holding up.”
Skarla calmly handed the blade to Berard. He touched it, feeling its swing; he could even feel a unique connection; it was strange but magnificent. Berard began to cry.
The other dwarf took it and made a sad expression, and some other blacksmiths who came to observe the spectacle began to touch the blade carefully and expressed the same thing.
"What happened?" - Holga asked.
“The material is of low quality; I used my aura to purify and strengthen it to the limits, but in the end, the material is still its biggest flaw.” - Said Skarla.
“This is a glass blade…” - Berard said, taking back his sword, feeling his soul in it, but feeling it so fragile, it was painful for a blacksmith who loves his works.
Skarla stretched out her hand to take it, Berard handed it over, and Skarla let her aura flow. The effect was different from before; the blade seemed to suck her in, and soon an intense aura exploded from the sword. It was something beautiful, but at the same time, the blade began to crack.
But even with so many cracks appearing, the blade continued to circulate the aura until finally it began to fragment and fall. Skarla stopped feeding, and finally the sword no longer existed.
“What’s the contract?” - Berard asked without hesitation, his eyes shining with intensity, and Skarla was smiling.

PART 2 – Information & Agreement!
—————————
In the castle!
Letiphia frowned. - “A Level 20 Succubus has appeared." - She asked.
“Yes, in a nearby village, all the men and women were drained of their vitality until they turned to dust. I personally went to investigate, and due to the presence of a priest accompanying me, the creature fled, but first I used an identification scroll. Due to the escape, the scroll was not completely activated, but from the information I got, it was from the Succubus race, and its level was 20.” - Marcus said seriously, unable to hide his concern in his tone.
Letiphia grunted in annoyance, rubbing her eyes, and then let out a sigh. - “Prepare a written report and send it to me later; if you already have it, give it to me now.”
Marcus handed him a stack of papers.
“I believe you already have warnings about the presence of this creature, right?” - She asked.
“So far only soldiers and officers know; it is preferable not to alarm civilians, and so far there have been no cases in the fortress.”
“Were any nearby villages attacked?”
“Nothing has happened at the moment; it’s likely that this thing is planning something.” - Marcus said.
“I understand; I will read the report, but beyond that, what progress do we have, and what about the Orcs?”
“Unfortunately, we found no trace of the cause of the demonic events. Regarding the Orcs, we tried to contact them, but it was not possible. The orcs are very savage and don't want dialogue. We even tried to use the connections of the Marquisate of Trapom and its passage to the mountains, but we were unable to establish contact; it is difficult to know if the Marquis even tried.” - Marcus sighed, and Letiphia nodded calmly.
“What about our infiltrated forces?”
“Without news, they are most likely in hiding. The chances of them being found and killed are low, as if that were the case, we would have received a warning.” - Marcus said.
“I see that the situation is not very favorable, but don’t worry, I will send someone strong and trustworthy to go after the Succubus. I will also send some shadows to try to establish a connection; if that is not possible, we will invade with force.” - Letiphia's eyes shone coldly, and Marcus smiled.
……
“The contract I wish to establish with you is simple: become my personal Blacksmith. You will practically become my servant.” - Skarla spoke calmly to Berard, who did not overreact and continued listening.
“I will teach you methods of manipulating energy more proficiently without needing to level up. I will teach you many forging techniques and invest heavily in you; in return, I will want you to become my Personal Blacksmith and focus on my requests with the utmost urgency.”
“I understand, and I have no problem with becoming exclusive, but how do I know if you will actually teach me these things?” - Berard asked with sharp, desire-filled eyes.
“We can establish a magical contract. What I will value beyond your talent will be loyalty. I don't mind you forging items and selling them; it's your right as a blacksmith to show your creations and wish them to have good masters, but whatever I ask or my allies, you will have as a priority. Of course, I won’t go overboard and ignore it if you’re focusing on something important, but apart from special cases, you’ll know your priority.”
“In return, I will teach you how to purify materials to the limit and strengthen them with magic; I will teach you how to create a powerful flame that burns everything; and I will train you to have more strength in those arms.”
Berard laughed and said. - “I don't see any problems, ma'am; I'm a blacksmith, and if I learn even 1/10 of what you showed me, I feel like I can die happy. So if you want the best blacksmith in this city, congratulations, you got it!” - His eyes shone with intensity.
Skarla nodded and said. - “I will ask someone to come here later; my name is Skarla, and he will give you some things, and... I believe you have better items stored, right?”
“If it’s for you to use it, I don’t think I’ll have anything suitable.” - Berard said it with shame.
“It's not for me; it's for her, and I'll want two short swords too; I happen to be training two brats who barely know how to use a sword.” - Skarla said, and Berard laughed.
“So if it’s for kids in training, I think my junk might be enough for now.” Laughing, he waved, calling them behind the store.
As for the other blacksmiths and the dwarf, it is natural that they were interested, but unlike Berard, who does not come from a renowned family and started his business alone, they have much more to lose by following such a contract.
But the demonstrated technique, if it really is possible to learn and everyone wants it, would easily put them at the level of a Legendary Blacksmith!
…
“Here are my masterpieces. I save my best wares in case I find someone capable and decent to wield them.” - Berard said, showing a cupboard at the back of the store, close to the forge.
Skarla looked around, and indeed, the quality is relatively low and the oven is damaged. It is surprising how he managed to produce so much in such a precarious situation. Soon, she thought that perhaps this was due to some special ability at birth or some unique characteristic.
She didn't ask; it didn't matter to know something so small; the important thing is that Berard has talent.
She looked at the products; in fact, the quality is much higher in terms of material, but... - “We need to reform your forge; no matter how skilled and talented you are, even if your techniques are low-level, the environment influences a lot. With these old tools and an old oven, it’s obvious that you won’t be able to use their full potential.”
“I know, but unfortunately, it's difficult to make money. I'm personally saving a lot of money for a new oven, but I don't want just anyone. I have my eye on some Red Rocks, but they are very expensive, especially in this region, since we are one of the Empire's main weapons and armor producing sites, which results in vagabond traders taking advantage.” - Berard spat.
Skarla nodded. He is saving up to go from Level 0 to Level 2, bypassing Level 1, so to speak, in terms of forging. It's a decent sight, but the time it would take, given the unattractiveness of its items and the lower-quality materials, this Level 0 Forge makes it difficult to produce high-quality items.
“Holga, look at that sword.” - Said Skarla, pulling a long sword from the closet and passing it to Holga.
The young warrior took it, handled it, and liked it; the quality really seems good, and... - “The swing is so different…”
“The metal of this weapon is denser than what you are used to, not to mention that the weight ratio was also well distributed. I can see flaws, but it is one of the few good works I have seen in the last 20 years.” - Skarla said calmly.
After that, she observed the other swords, finding two short swords of similar sizes and different models. - “For now, that should be enough. I didn’t notice magic in them; is there a reason?”
"Unfortunately, I don’t come from an old or famous family. Enchantment classes are extremely expensive.” - Berard said embarrassed.
“I understand; we will solve this too. Take it." - She said this and threw a bag of coins to Berard; it was the only one she had. - “You should have around 400 gold coins; start renovating the place, starting with ventilation; buy better tools; get a better oven; you have 1 week!”
Berard's eyes shone, and he nodded.
…
“Take it and give it to Sasha.” - Said Skarla, handing the swords to Holga.
“Oh? Why?" - Holga was confused.
“I may be ignorant and serious, but I'm not stupid. It's obvious from the looks you two give each other when I'm training you, the constant trips to the bathroom, and the fact that you're always tired.” - Skarla said, and Holga remained quiet but soon laughed. - “We weren’t hiding it.”
Skarla laughed. - “Then why are you ashamed? Stop acting mature, girl; go gift this to Sasha and earn some points.”
Holga blushed and nodded.
…
Regarding Skarla's view of this world's forging technology, she would say it is strange.
The blacksmiths of this world are capable of creating masterpieces that, if taken to Murim, would be national treasures, as certain weapons or armor can literally transform an ordinary person into a high-level warrior.
But as people are so dependent on the skills that the system provides them, blacksmiths don't think much about the useful life of what they forge; they focus on just being resistant and powerful; they forget the important factor, its user.
But she doesn't blame them; she blames the lack of sensitivity. In Murim, blacksmiths learn the art of forging, which at some point becomes something like the Cultivation of Martial Arts, even if they do not gain the strength of one, they can achieve epiphanies and greater realms, only focused on the forge.
And in Murim, as Martial Artists are very powerful and skilled, with great control of their Internal Energy, they result in the need for items capable of connecting to their energy, flowing without waste, and, in rare cases, amplifying the power of their Internal Energy.
But in this world, this is not the case; they ignore the flow and are only in power, all because of the Magic of Enchantments, which allows them to engrave magical runes on the item, giving them effects.
In the end, the blacksmiths of this world focus on two things: Rune Engravings and Material Quality. The higher the quality of the material and the final product, the more powerful the final product will be.
Aura Masters naturally possess power and wealth; getting their hands on high-quality magic weapons is quite easy, which indeed last significantly because of the quality of the materials, but in the end, this is negligible in Skarla's eyes.
She doesn't think about changing the world's view of this because it will make her potential enemies stronger. Not to mention that if the people of this world start to notice the flow of energy, it is a matter of time before the aura becomes even more common; it stops being something that only those above Level 10 can achieve.
Making the world stronger now would be annoying, so she will focus on developing her strengths first, then think about how to strengthen the world.
And why make the world stronger? Challenge!
Skarla needs challenges, and from what you read, after Level 20, if you have a long life expectancy, humans can surpass elves at that level in terms of life expectancy, but on the other hand, leveling up after 20 becomes increasingly difficult.
Going from Level 11 to 20 is practically hell; now imagine going up each level from 21 to 40. It would take centuries, or even millennia, in the worst case.
So in 100~200 years, she would be forced to make people stronger and teach them methods to kill monsters more easily, thus leveling up, but how would this influence the world?
In addition to being able to acquire EXP by killing others of their race, monsters also gain EXP by killing humans; in fact, they are reported to gain much more EXP by killing humans than other animals.
As a result of strengthening the fragile humans, at some point they might die to monsters, making them stronger, creating a vicious cycle and making the appearance of powerful monsters faster, and subsequently, Skarla would emerge to take care of things.
If not for her, it would be their wives and children who would need it too. In correlation to leveling, now that her cultivation technique gives her 3 EXP per day, in 100 years she would have acquired more than 100,000 EXP, and in 1,000 years more than 1 million. She doesn't know how many levels she would climb, but she finds it difficult even after 1,000 years of cultivating to reach the maximum level.
In the end, she already has to have plans, which will require her to strengthen the world if she wants to collect more resources for her future.
(Note: There are 3 EXP per Day, but be aware that the “Day” reported is 24 hours, not the days of Energy continually accumulated until years are formed. Naturally, this will increase as the skill progresses. But be aware that it is 3 EXP per Day every 24 hours.)
…
The two were soon leaving the area when something curious caught their attention—not at first. From afar, they saw a stall selling common weapons and armor; no one was paying much attention. Their salesperson was a Halfling woman; she looked quite bored, and no customers were coming even with a 15% discount.
So when she was approaching, she forcibly pulled a sign and dropped it in front of her; it said, Buy one and get a free fuck.
It was this brief action that attracted both of their attention. Skarla looked and then ignored it. Holga felt tempted, but when she saw Skarla continue walking, she followed her.
As for the halfling, she soon received a lot of attention; she was pretty and had a nice body. It didn't take long for several men and futanaris to start pulling down their pants and showing their coins. - ‘That always works!’
(Note: So far I have not found a suitable image for Berard, but in the next chapters I will have it, I believe.)
