Chapter 02: Remember-me-not

— Princess Jasmine —

"I don't suppose you have anything for me to change into?" Jasmine asked as they reached the small house, making Shiro give her a blank stare.

"I don't have anything for me to change into; I certainly don't have anything in your size," Shiro said tiredly, looking over her barely-covered body.

"Is this not your home?" Jasmine asked, frowning as he nodded.

"It is, but I've only just returned and barely managed to reclaim this tiny patch from the curse that's covering this realm. I had priorities, like making sure I wouldn't starve to death or get eaten by the curse-afflicted beasts. Getting a change of clothes fell short on the list, considering my robes are enchanted to self-clean," Shiro explained. "In truth, I've only returned recently, and my memories are still muddled from the curse. I once created this entire plane of existence, my sanctuary away from the chaos of other realms, but now even my knowledge of magic is almost entirely lost, beyond some simplistic beginner spells."

Shiro made this world? Would he not be a God with such power? But then, what did she know of magic beyond the tricks she'd seen Jafar perform and the power of Genie?

"How did the curse begin?" Jasmine asked, making Shiro frown.

"I'm still trying to work that out; this realm is far from the only one affected. You noticed the thorns, I take it?" Shiro asked, making her nod. "They are physical manifestations of the curse that has gripped my home; a single prick could make you lose months of memories. I suspect I ran afoul of them, which would explain why I don't remember what happened here. This place had other residents once, and I don't even remember who they were, let alone what happened to them."

Her eyes widened; she couldn't imagine coming back to Agrabah only to find ruins, but that might be exactly what happened if Jafar was left in charge.

"There's only one bed," Jasmine pointed out, making him nod.

"I built this home recently, and as the only current resident of this realm, I wasn't exactly expecting visitors," Shiro agreed. "Princess, I mean this with all due respect. I'm not sleeping on the couch in my own home. I suspect I'm going to have a very busy day tomorrow, given the rift between worlds that's opened in my backyard, and I'm not dealing with that with a bad night's sleep."

A part of her wanted to complain, having grown up sleeping in a lavishly large bed with silk sheets her entire life, but she wasn't going to push her luck with the Wizard, who already seemed less than pleased at her showing up to begin with. The idea of spending the night on an admittedly fairly comfortable-looking couch wasn't pleasant, but she reminded herself that Aladdin had grown up with much worse.

"Of course, Shiro, thank you for sheltering me," Jasmine said demurely, well aware that Shiro's eyes had wandered her body several times; she needed his help, unfortunately, and her beauty was one of the few tools she still had at her disposal.

"Of course, now I need some rest before I work out what to do about the literal tear in reality. A wizard's work is never done," Shiro sighed. His home didn't have any real sources of light beyond the moonlight coming in through the window, leaving them mostly in the dark as Shiro moved over to the bed.

At least she had a blanket and some cushions, trying to settle in as she saw Shiro strip down to his underwear and get into the fairly large bed.

He fell asleep fairly soon as she tossed and turned on the couch; it was too small for her to fit comfortably, and the thin blanket provided little cover from the cold winter air. This realm was far colder than Agrabah, leaving her shivering as she gave a speculative look at the large bed Shiro was sleeping in and the thick blanket he was comfortably snoozing away in.

An hour or two passed as she tried to sleep before she sighed and got back up, quietly moving over to the bed, lifting the covers and slipping under them as Shiro moved slightly before settling back down. The bed was made for two people, but it was still a fairly close fit since Shiro was sleeping in the dead centre, leaving her pressed against his own barely covered body.

Between his undergarments and her barely concealing clothes, they had a lot of skin contact as she shifted, his hand moving over her in his sleep, pulling her against him as her backside pressed against his crotch.

Still, his own body heat made the cold winter night a little more bearable as she closed her eyes and tried to fall asleep, to much greater success.

– Next Morning –

Waking up to a hand on her breast almost made her shoot up, ready to slap the fool who dared grope the princess of Agrabah, before she turned her head and saw Shiro still fast asleep, watching the slow rise and fall of his chest.

Gently prying his hand from her chest, she frowned to herself as she looked out of the window; seeing that the sun had barely started to rise, there was little point getting up so early while Shiro was still asleep. He likely wouldn't appreciate her waking him up either, settling back down as she blushed at the feeling of something hard pressing against her backside.

She couldn't exactly complain, given that she'd caused it by sneaking into his bed, but this wasn't exactly how she expected her first experience with a penis to go, the erect shaft rubbing against her slightly as he shifted in his sleep before settling again.

She reminded herself that if Shiro hadn't saved her, her first encounter with a cock would have been with Jafar's as the old decrepit bastard had his way with her. She might be a virgin, but she wasn't so naive as to not know what Jafar had planned for her.

Sharing a bed with a stranger, oh how the princess of Agrabah had fallen, though a little part of her found it exciting as Shiro's arm moved around her waist again as they spooned, allowing her to fall back to sleep.

– Shiro –

Could I have made another bed?

Obviously. I can make nearly anything out of Dreamlight, which I can get by harvesting the thorns, and while I've built up a small stockpile, I didn't see a reason to waste some of it to make Jasmine a new set of clothes or a bed.

Jasmine settles back down, unaware that her movement caused me to wake up, and once I'm sure she's fallen asleep, I make my move, whispering the words to my spell as I conjure the silvery mist of Sleep. Jasmine is already asleep and puts up no resistance to my spell as it sends her into a deep slumber.

Sitting up, I move the quilt of us as I look down at her sleeping body. I don't think she realises just how much she moves around in her sleep; I have spent this entire night being repeatedly hit in the face by her hair because of her tossing and turning, occasionally just getting hit by her arms (I started putting my arm over her to keep those flailing limbs in place), and dealing with her pushing her ass back against my dick.

I need to jerk off because I've had to deal with her edging me all night, and I'm annoyed enough that she's helping me; what she doesn't know won't hurt her. Flipping the thin red strapless bra up, I watch as her caramel breasts bounce free with a small smile, gently grasping one as I rub my finger against her nipple, feeling it harden under my ministrations, my other hand grasping my shaft as I start to stroke my cock.

Moving her onto her front, I gently pull down her red silky pants, amused that Jafar apparently didn't bother to give her any underwear as I admire her curvy ass. Jasmine is one of the more developed Disney girls, beyond Esmeralda, from what I remember, and it shows as I grope and squeeze her booty, enjoying her quiet moans as I slip my fingers between her legs, stroking her presumably virgin slit.

I'm not going to fuck her, even if I'm really tempted; that would almost certainly wake her up, and while she can't really do anything to stop me- princess or not, she's in my world with no one to help her- I'd rather not have to deal with her acting out against me.

The multiverse is dying, and it is my duty to save it. That makes me the biggest damn hero around, and the hero always gets the girl, or girls in this case. If Jasmine is here, that means there will be other Disney girls around; hell, in the wider multiverse, basically every fictional character that a teenage boy has ever jerked off too will be out there.

Jessica Rabbit, Tifa Lockheart, Samus, Leia (in her slave outfit, of course), and countless more. They're all out there, probably facing their own issues with the collapse of the multiverse, waiting for me.

Chaos is an opportunity; when you're the best chance a world has to survive, you can get away with a lot. I'm not delusional enough to think that I'm a 'good person', but this is going to be a lot of work, why shouldn't I get rewarded for my time and effort?

Flipping Jasmine onto her back again, I move carefully as I push her breasts together, spitting on her to use my saliva as a replacement lube as I slide my cock between her cleavage, groaning in enjoyment.

It's been a while since I got laid, and while it's hardly as good as actual sex or a blowjob, her breasts are large enough to make this easy and incredibly soft as I have my way with her sleeping body.

After a night of her grinding her ass against me, it doesn't take too long for me to finally cum as I paint her caramel skin a little more white, sighing in relief.

Cleaning up after myself and fixing her clothes, I get out of bed and rub my chin in thought as I get dressed. So, what should I do with Jasmine? She wants my help with Jafar; that much is obvious, but Jafar has won and has the Genie at his side.

According to Jasmine, he wished to be the most powerful sorcerer in the world, which means he still has two wishes he can use to fuck me over, but it's not the end of the world. Firstly, he wished to be the most powerful sorcerer in his world. Aladdin doesn't have that many magic users, from what I remember. I vaguely remember the TV show having some like Jafar's sister and some cat-girl, but none of them had particularly impressive feats.

Powerful, sure, but in the grander scheme of things, they're on the weaker end of magic users. Jafar might be manageable; besides, he's arrogant and can be tricked. If Aladdin can do it, I certainly can.

There's another issue: Aladdin himself. I'm not doing all this so some street rat can get a happy ending; he's unnecessary in this story. I'm the hero, the main protagonist; I get the rewards, the treasure and the gold, not him.

Jasmine has probably already fallen for him, given where they seem to be in the story, and that's an issue.

One I can solve.

Heading out of the house, I smile as I leave the gates and head towards the nearest Night Thorns, keeping my distance as I start to examine them, reaching out with my magic. Does she really need all her memories?

– Princess Jasmine –

"Jasmine, are you alright?" a strange voice asked, making her blink as she sat up slowly, looking around the unknown surroundings.

"What- where am I?" Jasmine asked, looking up into the concerned eyes of the stranger, paler than anyone she'd ever seen (though not unhealthily so), with intense blue eyes. "Who are you?"

"Who- oh damn it, Jasmine, this is very important. What's the last thing you remember?" the stranger asked, making her pause.

"Some… prince had come to the palace to try and court me; I don't remember his name. He was far too old, so I sent him away off," Jasmine explained, panic starting to set in as the man paused, closing his eyes and taking a breath as if confirming something terrible. "What's going on? Who are you?" Jasmine said, rising quickly as she gave the stranger a suspicious look.

"Jasmine, I need you to calm down. My name is Shiro; we met a few days ago; you came to my home to escape from Jafar's minions," Shiro tried to explain, making her blink in confusion. Jafar didn't have guards; he was just her father's pet vizier. "I can explain everything, but I need you to trust me and just listen. I can prove I'm telling the truth."

Giving him a look, she listened as Shiro started to explain what he claimed had happened, her eyes widening at the tale of a Genie, a curse, and Jafar taking over Agrabah. And yet, Shiro claimed he had learned this story from her, and while she wanted to claim he was wrong, he wasn't making up the portal from which she could see the sands of Agrabah; his magic was very real.

She had come to him for help, and as they made it back to his home, the walled community had a house with two beds, several outfits that seemed to have been worn, styled as she enjoyed them, a red harem girl outfit which Jafar apparently forced her to wear before she escaped.

Two people had lived in this house for at least a short while.

"What- what is happening in Agrabah?" Jasmine asked, fear flooding her as Shiro sighed, whistling as an owl flew down.

"I sent my familiar into the portal two days ago; the city seems… stable, the entire population under the control of Jafar's magic, things aren't getting worse, and it has been three days since Jafar last sent his enslaved guards through the portal. I've driven back two attempts; we were planning on temporarily sealing the portal to buy ourselves time," Shiro explained, making her blink.

"Sealing? Why- we need to do something-"

"Oh, right, of course. I'm sorry. I explained this not two days ago, but you've forgotten. This realm exists outside of time. If I can seal the portal, then Agrabah will essentially be frozen in time, buying us precious time to work out how to deal with Jafar," Shiro explained, looking embarrassed as she blinked in shock and awe.

it sounded unbelievable, but so did a magic portal to Agrabah, and she'd seen that with her own two eyes.

"I- did your familiar see my father?" Jasmine asked, sitting down on the couch with a heavy heart.

"Yes, briefly. Jafar has kept him around as a… jester of sorts, humiliating him, but he is otherwise unharmed," Shiro explained, and she'd take that as the first piece of good news she'd gotten since she woke up here. "Rajah is fine as well. They were turned into a cub and kept around as a trophy, but beyond that, they're alive and unharmed."

She paused; the fact that Shiro even preempted her asking about her pet tiger, knowing its name, made her wonder just how much he knew about her.

"I'll leave you to gather your thoughts; I need to study the portal more if we are to go through with our plan," Shiro said kindly, giving her shoulder a gentle, comforting pat.

Giving her one last smile, he set off out of the house, leaving her to her thoughts. Our plan, not his plan. He said it so casually, a reminder that she'd helped come up with this plan; what was their relationship? He seemed awfully comfortable touching a Princess. She'd only been here for a few days, and yet Shiro treated her with a familiarity she'd expect from people who had known each other for months.

Shiro was helping her save her father and her city from that traitorous dog Jafar, but why? What had she promised him for his aid? Why was he helping her?

Examining the house, she paused as she looked at the two beds. Presumably, the larger one was his, a large floppy hat she definitely wouldn't wear resting on the headboard, but why did the second bed not look slept in? Her clothes were in the wardrobe next to it, though while they looked like something she'd wear, they didn't actually seem to be her clothes. Did Shiro somehow make her more clothes after she arrived here in nothing but a slave girl outfit?

She didn't make her bed; she never saw the point, and yet her bed was almost pristine…

He'd sheltered her, clothed her. A part of her was convinced that if she was sleeping in his bed, it was because she'd seduced him to get his help… but a smaller part whispered that he was a handsome man who saved her, making her wonder if she had gone to his bed willingly, eagerly, her mind wandering as questions she couldn't answer flooded her thoughts.

– Shiro –

It may have taken me a few days to get things right, but with a smile, I gesture at the Night Thorns growing around the portal, and they obediently retract.

Almost everything in this world is made of Dreamlight magic, including the Night Thorns, and through experimentation, I've managed to improve my control of Dreamlight from Novice to Apprentice. Jasmine didn't even need to be awake for most of it.

It turns out that having someone you can repeatedly remove the memories from to experiment on is very helpful. I even got my Apprentice class to level up to… Apprentice. That's a weird sentence.

[Arcane Recovery - Novice]

You know how to encourage your natural energies to regenerate faster, allowing you to meditate, which greatly boosts mana regeneration.

[Arcane Knowledge - Apprentice]

You are learned in the ways of the arcane, unravelling the mysteries of magic. You can learn spells from spellbooks and study enchanted items to learn their purpose.

[Lesser Familiar]

Every good mage needs a familiar; this spirit creature takes the form of a common animal of your choice and can perform simple tasks for you. You can share the familiar's senses and telepathically command it.

[Spell Overload]

Magic is all about experimentation; you can choose to overload a spell to try and greatly increase its effectiveness at the risk of the spell backfiring on you. The risk of backfire increases with the power of the spell but decreases with your Arcane Knowledge skill.

What Jasmine will never remember won't hurt her because those memories aren't just suppressed; they're shredded to the last atom. I also got some fun new spells for my troubles, which is good because I have no idea where to find spell books.

[Snare]

School - Abjuration

Transforms a rope into a magical trap, enchanting the rope. The trap is nearly invisible and, when triggered, will bind the victim and hang them upside down. The durability of the rope scales with Intelligence.

[Sword Burst]

School - Conjuration

Conjures several spectral blades, which spiral around you for a moment before disappearing. Damage and duration scale with Intelligence.

[True Strike]

School - Divination

Allows you to glimpse into all future timelines and see the best place to strike your foe.

[Lightning Lure]

School - Evocation

You create a lash of lightning energy that strikes at a target, dragging them towards you and dealing lightning damage. The damage and range scale with Intelligence.

[Dissonant Whispers]

School - Enchantment

You whisper a discordant melody that only one creature of your choice can hear, wracking it with terrible pain and filling it with fear, causing it to flee if it fails to resist. The power scales with Intelligence.

[Candlelight]

School - Illusion

Creates a hovering light that follows the caster around. Brightness can be controlled and scales with Intelligence.

A new spell for each school I have access to and two new schools. Illusion and Divination are bound to be useful. I think the idea of Apprentice is to give you access to the weakest spells of each school so when you finish this class, you can move on to a more specialised class with your preferred school of magic.

I've set up some Snare traps around the walls and portal, and I even managed to catch some of the Agrabah guards when they tried attacking through the portal again. I may have just killed those guards, or to be more precise, I triggered another attack from the cursed creatures and just watched from the walls as the guards were torn apart.

Sucks to suck; I don't want to keep giving them a slap on the wrist and sending them home to attack me again later. If Jafar wants to send people after me, he's gonna lose them.

Still, it's been a while since the last attack; what's going on over there?

Aladdin better not be saving the day; that's my job. Sending my owl back through the portal, I go back to studying the portal itself.

One thing I've learnt is that the Night Thorns were basically waiting for me to embrace the darker side of Dreamlight magic, they all but jumped to obey me when I started reaching out to them, even if the Curse itself would fight against me.

I don't need to get rid of the Night Thorns; I can simply tame them. If I can tame the Night Thorns, I can tame the Curse itself.

The Curse is affecting the entire multiverse, imagine that level of power in my hands?

That just might be crazy enough to actually work. Or you'll be consumed and devoured alive by it. One of the two.

It'll be fine, trust me.

Never before has someone saying 'trust me' actually been trustworthy.

Hey, that's not fair!

You literally just said, 'I need you to trust me' to a girl you've spent a week experimenting on, and whose memories you've wiped out of petty jealousy towards her lover.

Meh, fair enough, but what's a little memory modification and gaslighting between friends?

Spending the rest of the day experimenting on the portal, I call it a night as the sun sets. The cursed creatures get more aggressive at night, after all, I don't want to be caught off guard because I was busy with my research.

– Princess Jasmine –

Sitting on the couch, she watched as Shiro wrote in a language she couldn't read, his research notes scattered across the desk. He was hard at work trying to solve the issue of the portals, but her mind was on a different problem.

How did she find out just how close she'd gotten with this stranger? She could just ask him, but how would she know if he was telling the truth? No, she needed to do some experimentation of her own.

"I'm going to call it a night, Shiro," Jasmine said, making him turn to her as she walked over to him, looking at the mystical notes on the page he was writing on.

"Hm, I'm going to do the same soon; I just want to finish this," Shiro replied, pausing as she leaned down and placed a kiss on his cheek, her hand briefly touching his chest… and yet he didn't seem uncomfortable, or even that surprised. His eyebrows furrowed slightly, but he seemed like he was trying to solve a puzzle, not surprised at her show of affection.

"Goodnight, Shiro, and thank you for everything," Jasmine almost whispered, her hand lingering on his shoulder before she turned and walked away, feeling his eyes on her back or perhaps a little lower.

"Sleep well, Jasmine," Shiro replied, watching her a moment more before he went back to his notes. She'd test more in the morning.

— Bonus Scene — Princess Anna

Fleeing the ice monsters, she took one last look at the castle made of pure ice, watching the purple mist flow from it with tears pricking her eyes. This wasn't Elsa. Elsa wouldn't do these kinds of things.

It was this purple mist; she could see it behind her sister's eyes when they reunited; something was messing with her sister's mind. Elsa had had a brief moment of sanity, which allowed her and Kristoff to escape before she snapped back and slaughtered Hans and the men he'd brought with him.

Elsa had just… executed Hans, without so much as a hint of emotion. In fact, beyond the brief return to sanity, she'd not shown any emotion whatsoever, a true 'Ice Queen'.

On the back of Sven, she and Kristoff shared a look as they headed towards the mysterious portal that they had found, a warmer place on the other side. Glancing back at the icy creatures chasing them, she nodded, and they charged towards it, barely avoiding the deadly icicles that the ice birds were shooting their way. Sven got hit several times as his gallop faltered before he gathered himself, speeding up and leaping through the portal.

Now, she just had to hope this place was safer; looking around, she spotted what looked like a walled village in the distance.

"You think anyone is home?" Kristoff asked.

"I hope so," Anna answered, uncharacteristically subdued as she looked at the torches lining the walls; it was late night here, despite it being only evening where they'd come from.

As Kristoff examined the wounded Sven, she looked around the fields they'd found themselves in, giving the purple thorns a suspicious look; taking a step closer, she yelped as she suddenly found herself upside down, ropes binding her as she was pulled into the air, one hand trying to hold her dress up as gravity demanded it fall down and expose her underwear.

"Anna?!" Kristoff shouted, turning and seeing her predicament as he tried to rush over to help.

Watching him get pulled into the air, she mentally sighed as she watched Sven blink, looking around carefully. Sven was definitely the brains of the operation.

…as Sven was pulled into the air, yelping as ropes tried to bind him, aggravating his wounds, she sighed. Maybe their group didn't have a brain. She really hoped the residents of this place were feeling merciful.
