Chapter 127: Comfortable
The note left behind by Coven was passed to the professors to read. After everyone read it, they all looked as if they had been 'played'.
Professor Quirrell was the last to take the note and read it. He had just finished reading the whole content, but before he could think about anything, Dumbledore raised his hand and asked for the note.
Holding the note, Dumbledore smiled and looked at the formula on it. After thinking for a while, he said, "As I said, little Coven has a lot of wonderful ideas."
Dumbledore reviewed the questions again with a headache, but it was as if he was reading a book, and he did not know the meaning of the formula.
After a moment of silence, Dumbledore suddenly chuckled and said, "I like this problem very much. Let's just leave it as it is within the checkpoint."
"You know the answer?" Professor McGonagall asked in surprise.
"Of course." Dumbledore looked a little distressed. "This is really a difficult problem. Fortunately, I barely got the answer."
"That's good." Professor McGonagall nodded with relief.
Dumbledore put the note back on the table, then looked up at the professors and said, "But let's go back first. I still need to stay here for a while."
"Is there anything else?" Professor McGonagall asked, "Do you need everyone to stay and help?"
"No need." Dumbledore gently waved his hand, then looked down at the serial floor under his feet and said with some concern, "I have to stay and see the explosion traps set up by little Coven. It will not be good if the castle structure is damaged."
The professors suddenly realized that Dumbledore's concerns were necessary.
Next, the professors said goodbye and left.
Dumbledore stood in the room for a long time until he felt that the professors had completely left the secret room. Then he was slightly relieved.
With a shake of his hand, Dumbledore held his wand and then used the ultimate usage of the 'Manifestation Curse'.
The next moment, a large number of orange magic particles quickly gushed out from the floor of the room, gradually forming a vivid '3D image' in the air.
The image showed the activity of Coven and the other two in the room a few days ago, but only the image could be seen, and the sound could not be heard.
Dumbledore moved from time to time to watch the replay until he finished watching all of Coven's movements. He was a little surprised to cancel the curse.
He walked directly to the brick marked with the number [five]. Dumbledore gently waved his hand to lift the brick, revealing the note below.
"So the answer is five?" Dumbledore whispered softly.
After looking at it, Dumbledore pressed the note under the brick again and then turned to look at the other floors. Dumbledore suddenly laughed.
"That little guy..." After understanding the situation, Dumbledore muttered, "He actually deceived everyone. There is no explosion trap..."
Recalling how he was led by the question just now, Dumbledore shook his head helplessly. He laughed softly from time to time and left the secret room...
…....
In the next few days, Coven behaved very honestly. After all, he had slipped up on Halloween that night.
However, unexpectedly, the professors he had come into contact with in the past few days did not mention the matter of trespassing into the forbidden area to him, as if they did not know about it.
Coven thought about it. Did the professors indulge him again?
Two days later, the professor still didn't come to talk to him about the forbidden area. Even Professor McGonagall didn't have any intention of warning him.
Thus, Coven was completely relieved. He no longer worried about him barging into the forbidden area and threw it to the back of his mind.
On this day, it was Professor Snape's turn to be in charge of the extracurricular tutoring.
However, there weren't many things that Coven needed to guide him in right now.
Therefore, he and Snape were doing their own things in the auxiliary room. One was writing homework while the other continued to rush up books about the 'Potion standard'.
After the tutoring time was over, the two of them tidied up and left the auxiliary room together.
On the way to the auditorium, Coven found that Snape was limping. After recalling it, he understood what was going on.
Snape had not recovered from the leg injury left by Three-Headed Dog.
Seeing this, Coven couldn't help but ask with concern, "Professor, is your injury alright? Why haven't you recovered after so long?"
Snape glanced at Coven expressionlessly and responded in a flat tone, "You don't need to care!"
Coven had long been accustomed to getting along with Snape, so he continued without care, "Professor Quirrell said in a class that the wounds caused by the American lizard were not easy to heal. Potion's effect on the wounds was very weak, but if he added some of the blood of the lizard in Potion, it could restore Potion's effect to normal."
Speaking of this, Coven suggested, "Why don't you get some of Three-Headed Dog's blood and try it on Potion?"
Snape paused for a moment, then quickly stepped forward. He squinted at Coven again and said, "Do you like to meddle in other people's business so much?"
"I'm just concerned about you, Professor."
They were already so close, so Coven teased, "After all, the way you walk with injuries is too damaging to your dignity. The earlier you recover, the sooner you can recover to the dignified professor who can make little wizard tremble with fear."
Snape completely stopped this time and turned to look at Coven.
Coven looked like he was sincerely thinking of him and calmly looked at Snape.
Snape took a deep breath, then looked up at the surroundings and the lawn outside the corridor.
Coven was a little puzzled and followed Snape's movements to look back and forth, but he did not see any figure.
At this time, Snape finally opened his mouth and continued to look around. He said, "I heard that you have mastered a lot of targeted spells?"
Coven did not understand why Snape said this. As a tutor, he should know his progress in learning.
Snape continued, "Did you know? When I was in school, I also mastered a lot of magic spells and even invented some of them myself."
"Yes, I know your achievements, Professor." Coven nodded blankly in response.
"When you were in the Forbidden Forest, you used the 'Spider Retreat', right?" Snape said as he walked to the other side of Coven.
"Ah, yes..." Coven was even more confused.
"I recently invented a little magic spell." Snape stood up and stared at Coven.
"What is it?" Coven was looking forward to it. "Can you teach me?"
Snape took out his wand and aimed it at Coven. He shouted in a daze, "Coven Quinn, retreat!"
A ray of light hit Coven's chest in an instant, making him feel a strong force pulling him behind, pulling him over the railing and flying into the lawn.
"Ouch!"
The spell made him unable to stop, and Coven exclaimed while rolling on the lawn.
Seeing this, Snape suddenly breathed a sigh of relief. He put away his wand and whispered, "Ah... I wanted to do this for a long time..."
After that, Snape continued to leave briskly.
After turning a corridor, he met the third-year Ravenclaw, Ellie Way. Under her careful look, Snape smiled and nodded to her. "Good evening."
Crash
Ellie stiffened, and the books in her arms fell to the ground.
