Ron’s Journey Through Remnant

Chapter 2: 2-Talk with a dead Skelton

A man wearing a long, dark coat stood before him. Two lines marked his face near each eye, one extending upward and the other downward. His hands had a hole in the center of each palm.

Ron looked at the man and asked

[Ron]: Are you Dr. W.D. Gaster

The man looked at Ron and answered him

[Gaster]: Since you are not the one who attacked me with a baseball bat, I assume you are the one who cloned and kidnapped me

Ron looked puzzled at the man and said

[Ron]: A baseball bat? Attack you? I have no idea what you're talking about

Gaster's eyes narrowed as he studied Ron.

[Gaster]: Do not feign ignorance. Someone wielding a baseball bat assaulted me, and shortly afterward, my soul was cloned and abducted. If it wasn't you, then who are you, and what do you want with me?

[Ron]: Will my name is Ron and I may have an answer to that

[Gaster]: then tell me who attacked me and why

[Ron]: you see

Ron started to explain his death the white void the ten wishes and the man named Six who managed the room that gave the dead choices, Gaster listened in amazement and continued to study Ron intently.

[Gaster]: So, you claim you were granted ten wishes by a mysterious entity named Six? And somehow, this led to my current predicament.

Ron nodded, looking earnest.

[Ron]: Yes, that's right. When I was granted those wishes, I wished to possess your soul, the soul of the greatest mage and Scientist in the monster kingdom

Gaster's expression shifted from confusion to deep thought as he processed Ron's words.

[Gaster]: The soul of the greatest mage and scientist... And you wished to possess it. That explains why I feel this strange connection now. But why would you wish for my soul, of all things?

[Ron]: To live in peace in this world, I need more than just power—I need allies and guidance.

Gaster regarded Ron with a mix of curiosity and contemplation, weighing the gravity of his words and the implications of their newfound connection.

[Gaster]: It seems I have no other choice but to follow you. Your intentions are intriguing, and our bond is undeniable. But now, I must ask—there is a peculiar monster I've encountered, one that resembles a werewolf. How does it exist without possessing a soul or any kind of organ?

[Ron]: They are called Creatures of the Grim, and they are monsters created by the god of darkness to destroy and spread devastation all over the world.

Gaster's eyes widened with intrigue, absorbing this new revelation. The concept of beings crafted by a deity of darkness to wreak havoc piqued his curiosity.

[Gaster]: Creatures of the Grim... fascinating and terrifying in equal measure. And you, Ron, what kind of monster are you? I have never seen your kind before.

[Ron]: I am every kind of creature that lived or used to live on Earth, and maybe even some alien species, put together in every way possible. I even have a couple of cancers to hold me together.

Gaster looked at Ron in shock, struggling to comprehend the enormity of what he had just heard.

[Gaster]: Who could be mad enough to do this?

Ron took a deep breath, his expression darkening.

[Ron]: You said my mother's name earlier... Her name is The Mad One.

Gaster's eyes widened, a mixture of fear and curiosity crossing his face.

[Gaster]: How mad does someone have to be to be called The Mad One?

[Ron]: Someone who would put a dead body back together after throwing it in a shredder for fun and as a hobby.

Gaster recoiled slightly, the gruesome image painted by Ron's words making his stomach churn.

[Gaster]: That level of madness... it's unimaginable. And she created you with that same reckless abandon?

Ron nodded solemnly.

[Ron]: From what I've heard, she gave me ten kinds of cancer to see how long I would live. And that was when she was pregnant with me for just a week.

Gaster's eyes widened in horror and disbelief, Ron turned away from Gaster and focused on the coming wave of Grimes

[Ron]: We should stop for now, will you lend me a hand,... Now that I have said that I remember,... lend me several hands.

Gaster was not impressed actually he was holding his head.

[Gaster]: Stop with the puns. I've had enough to last me a lifetime and after lifetimes.

[Ron]: Fair enough, Gaster. But let's focus on the task at hand. These Grimes won't defeat themselves.

Ron smirked and extended his hand.

[Gaster]: You remember that I'm a ghost

[Ron]: No need to worry. Here, {True Resurrection}.

In front of Ron, Gaster's body began to materialize. His skeleton appeared in the air, then was covered by flesh, organs, blood vessels, skin, and lastly his clothes. Ron looked on in shock.

[Picture]

[Ron]: Aren't you supposed to be a skeleton?

Gaster flexed his fingers, marveling at his restored form.

[Gaster]: Normally, yes. But it seems your spell has managed to change my race to that of a human being.

[Ron]: Well, that's unexpected. But it might just work in our favor, I can't walk with a skeleton in the middle of a city.

Gaster tested his new human body, feeling the rush of blood and the beat of a heart for the first time.

[Gaster]: This will take some getting used to, but I must admit, it feels... invigorating. Let us see how this body will handle "Determination.

Suddenly, a red heart appeared in Gaster's hand and fused with his own. After the fusion, several hands and Blasters materialized around him, ready to face the oncoming Grimes.

With a surge of power, Gaster unleashed a barrage of energy blasts and coordinated strikes, dismantling the Grimes with precision and force. Ron watched in awe as Gaster wielded his newfound abilities with incredible skill.

But Gaster's expression was one of anger and regret.

[Gaster]: If I had this power, monsters wouldn't have to live underground. We could have won the war. But now, I can destroy the humans like they wanted to destroy us.

The red "Determination" heart started to turn into a black "Hate" heart.

Ron quickly stepped forward, holding his black staff in front of Gaster.

[Ron]: I have to stop you there, Gaster. This world doesn't have the same kind of people who hurt the monsters and killed your friends. This is a world that is already suffering enough.

Gaster's anger flared, but he paused, looking at Ron with a mixture of rage and confusion.

[Gaster]: But the pain, the loss... How can I let go of it how can I let them get away with the things they have done we live in peace with them and they killed us.

Gaster's black heart started to affect him more, his eyes turning black, black blood oozing from his eyes and mouth, and dark wings spreading from his back.

Ron just started laughing at this.

[Ron]: Pain and loss, really? If that's your excuse, then look at my soul and find out what I'm holding. White will show you that.

Gaster looked at Ron's soul, and suddenly, he stopped. His expression turned to one of shock and fear, and he screamed.

[Gaster]: How are you even alive?

In front of Gaster was a heart made from other hearts and stitched together in a horrible and barbaric manner, with colors overlapping each other. It looked like several hearts had been merged, some of them seemingly dead.

[Ron]: This is what I've carried with me. A heart that's been through unimaginable pain, yet here I stand, choosing to fight for a better future. If I can survive and find purpose, so can you, Gaster.

Gaster stared at Ron, the sight of the grotesque heart shaking him to his core. The black heart within him began to falter, and a Red heart replaced it and disappeared

[Gaster]: Ron you can put that away now it is too much even for me to see..., Why do I feel something on my back?

[Ron]: Congratulations on acquiring wings, Mr. First Skeleton Turned Human Turned Faunus.

[Gaster]: Interesting. So, hate affects the human body in this way. Do other elements have similar effects? And what exactly is a Faunus?

[Ron]: It looks like I'll have to explain the story of the world of Remain to you.

Gaster looked intrigued as Ron began to explain.
