Chapter 887: Fifth Circle, Fury (Final Part)
Kaizen advanced slowly, his eyes fixed on the colossal creature emerging from the stormy sea.
The sky was blackened by swirling clouds, and lightning tore across the horizon, briefly illuminating the apocalyptic scene.
The tension in the air was palpable, but Kaizen maintained a resolute expression. His gaze, determined and calm, conveyed the confidence of someone who had already faced unimaginable challenges and survived to tell the tale.
"Facing dragons and sea creatures is nothing new to me," he said, stepping forward].
His companions watched him with a mixture of apprehension and admiration. Kaizen was known for his courage and incomparable skills, but the presence of Lovern, the Guardian of Wrath, was proof of the overwhelming power of this circle of Hell.
Lovern roared again, the sound reverberating through the stones of the platform and echoing on the distant horizon. The waves around the creature increased in intensity, as if the very wrath of the sea was being channeled by the monster. Its scaly tentacles wriggled in the air, and its jaw, as big as a dragon's, opened in a menacing display of brute force.
Kaizen didn't hesitate. With a quick, precise movement, he drew his sword, the blade glowing with supernatural power. The air around him seemed to vibrate with pure energy as he prepared for the inevitable confrontation.
"Stay behind me," he instructed, his voice firm and authoritative. "I'll deal with it."
Og'tharoz, Adamanthi, and the other members of the group stood back, watching intently. They knew that, despite his confidence, Kaizen faced a formidable enemy.
Lovern was more than just a creature; he was the embodiment of the rage and fury contained in this circle of Hell.
Lovern advanced, his tentacles lashing out towards Kaizen with astonishing speed.
Kaizen, however, was prepared. With an agile leap, he avoided the first attack, spinning in the air to dodge another tentacle coming towards him. His movements were graceful and precise, a reflection of years of training and battles.
He landed with a thud on the stone platform, his boots echoing off the dark, damp surface. Without wasting any time, Kaizen ran towards Lovern with his sword raised. The guardian roared again, but Kaizen was undeterred. With one fluid movement, he slashed at one of the approaching tentacles, the blade of his sword glowing with fierce power.
Lovern recoiled momentarily, the pain evident in his dark eyes. But the creature was not defeated. With a cry of fury, it attacked again, its remaining tentacles moving with impressive speed and strength. Kaizen continued to dodge, his agility and dexterity preventing any blows from hitting him.
Adamanthi watched with renewed interest, his eyes following Kaizen's every move. "He's impressive," he muttered to himself. "I've never seen anyone fight with such precision and courage."
Og'tharoz nodded, his eyes fixed on the battle. "Kaizen is unique. He has an unwavering determination and a skill that few can match."
Meanwhile, Kaizen continued his attack. Each blow he struck was calculated and lethal, hitting vital points on Lovern's scaly carapace. The creature roared in agony and rage, but Kaizen showed no signs of tiredness or hesitation. He was focused, each movement a deadly dance of precision and strength.

Finally, with one last powerful blow, Kaizen struck Lovern's neck, his sword piercing deep and dragging out the creature's core.
Lovern let out a final roar, his body shaking violently before he fell, defeated. The waters around the platform began to calm, and the anger that had fueled the storm seemed to slowly dissipate.
Kaizen withdrew his sword from Lovern's body and stepped back, watching as the creature sank back into the raging sea. He landed on the stone platform without a scratch, his breathing calm and controlled.
"It's done," he said, putting his sword away. "We can move on."
The group approached, a mixture of relief and admiration on everyone's faces.
Adamanthi smiled, an enigmatic smile that seemed to hide something else. "Well done, Kaizen. You've proved your worth once again."
"That was incredible!" exclaimed Bloody Lily, her eyes shining with excitement. "I've never seen someone fight like that."
"You really are something special, man," Andrew added, his tone softer than usual. "But the road ahead is still long and full of dangers. We can't let our guard down."
Kaizen nodded. "I know. But together, we can overcome anything."
Adamanthi approached, his expression serious. "As I said, this was the last test for this circle. From here, we'll find our way to the Sixth Circle. But remember, every step we take brings us closer to the horrors that await us."
The group followed Adamanthi as he led them along the stone platform. The demonic runes that had once glowed brightly were now faded, and the path ahead seemed quieter. However, everyone knew that the peace was only temporary.
As the group advanced, the stone platform began to tilt slightly, leading them towards a new passage. The demonic runes, which had previously been unlit, began to glow again, illuminating the path with an eerie light.
"We're almost there," said Adamanthi, his voice firm. "Prepare yourselves for what is to come. The Sixth Circle is the place of heresy. The horrors you will face there will be unlike anything we have ever seen."
After crossing part of the sea, they finally reached a large stone door, adorned with intricate carvings depicting scenes of torture and despair.
Adamanthi stopped in front of the door, looking at it with a serious expression.
"We're here," he said, his voice reverberating in the silent chamber. "Beyond this door is the Sixth Circle, the place of heresy. Remember, what we'll find there will be unlike anything we've ever seen. This is a place where souls are punished for defying divine beliefs and dogmas."
"The gods really suck." Jayaa said, and Adamanthi quickly turned to him.
"Hey, don't ever say that again!" Adamanthi ordered as he approached Jayaa, but then Kaizen put a hand in front of him, preventing him from touching Jayaa.
"And you put yourself in your place." Kaizen said, looking at Adamanthi seriously.
