- A MMORPG game that has been played for a couple of years. It is summarized for “Green Tea Ice Survival Multiplayer". But some people believe there are hidden meanings behind that name. It's not a very popular game and only a few people around me actually play the game. The game itself is pretty good, but the reason why not many people play it is because of the “unfair moderating”, also known as mod abuse.
There were incidents where the tension between the moderator that played the game and the player got so high that the player got banned. And it is known that the mods show favoritism to certain people that are close and supportive to the mods. And the owner of the server doesn’t really do anything either. It’s rather he is just not interested in what is happening in the game or is just leaving it because he gave up on the game.
But I liked the game. I didn’t really socialize with other people because I don’t have any friends so I just did my own stuff and there weren’t any disadvantages I had that were targeted towards me.
And today, the game that I have been playing since middle school is going to end. The game that was with me even when reality hit me hard and made me anti social, the game that helped me out when I wanted to give up on everything, even life. And now, the only friend I ever had, is going to be gone.
As I was sighing and had millions of things going on in my head, I received a text which was unusual because I don’t have a lot of friends and the only notifications I would ever get is a notification for a game event. When I checked, I couldn’t hide my surprise. It was the owner of the game. The person who never cared about his own game and the person who never showed himself to the public. His username was “Peace”.
- Peace: Hello dear player, I am Peace, the current owner of GTI SMP. And because today is the last day of the game, I would like to thank you for playing the game and enjoying your experience.
- Luke: Thank you for your effort on the game. I really enjoyed my time there. I could even say that it was better living a life as a player in the game rather than living my own life. Only if I could, I would want to be a character in your game. By the way, why is your name Peace?
- Peace: Oh it’s the name of my favorite character in this book. And we all love peace right? Although the server is closing, I am only closing it to have faster development on the game. Even though not a lot of people like the game, there are still people like you that exist. Speaking of the server, I am making a story and a quest for the new game system and I would like to use you as the main character. If you let me, you will get a satisfying prize.
New updates? For a game that people barely even play? Why would anyone ever invest and try so hard on a game that is literally about to die. Saying that the game is closing due to development sounds like a stupid excuse. Just admitting the game will stop servicing because no one plays it makes more sense.
And using me as the main character? I didn’t even do anything important in the game. I don’t talk to people, I don’t do anything special. I just play it everyday because I like the game and enjoy doing nothing. But using me as the main character is such a miss casting. I don’t have a lot of friends, I am nothing special, not that smart, not physically advanced. If I was ever a character in a book, I would be the side character that dies in the very beginning.
Being a main character would be a very unique experience. Especially to someone like me who is nothing like a main character. I mean it would be really boring if the character is based off of my actions in the game. Then no one would play it cause it is so boring. But I guess I will give it a try. This is probably going to be the only time I am going to get all the attention. Let’s see how good the plot is going to be written based on a character like me. Wait but how is he going to use me as the main character either way? Like do I get to log on the game by myself or is he stalking me or something?
-Luke: Sure, that would be a cool experience. So what can I do?
-Peace: You will see. It will start next Saturday, at 7 pm. I suggest that you make friends before this starts. They will be helpful. Also, make sure to give your friends a grasshopper just in ca-...
After hearing the answer I wanted, I just cut him off and logged out of the message app. So this Saturday at 7 pm, huh that’s a weird timing. That is when spring break starts. Well I guess I can do the “Main Character” thingy since I don’t have anything to do over the break either way. Well let’s see how well this is going to go.

Until then, Luke didn’t know at all, the future and the fate he would experience. The
astonishing life of a young man that he would’ve never expected. The day that he was chosen
as the “Main Character”, the world he knew would fall and change forever. Where the world
would turn into fantasy, and fantasy would become reality.
