Reincarnated as a Fox to Bring Revolution

V2Ch-54-Worlds Will

Setting aside my murderous thoughts for the moment, I tried to enter the same meditative state I used when I placed my skill points. Due to my experience with entering this state multiple times, it was fairly easy to do so, and I was soon learning the new techniques at a rapid pace.

I also chose this time to stop ignoring a part of my trait that I found fairly annoying and paid attention to all the errors it was showing me.

This was not as simple as showing me the errors in the techniques I was currently learning, but the errors in everything.

This meant that I was now aware of the errors in how I walked, the errors in how I used my sword, the errors in how I used the bow, and the errors in the way I was currently meditating. Those were also the simple ones, as I was also seeing the errors in how I designed the compound, the errors in the shrine’s design, the errors in the technology blueprints I learned from the system, and even the errors in my knowledge about medicine and science.

Absolutely nothing was safe from my trait, and it was something that would honestly drive me crazy if I did not find a way to control it. It was also too helpful to simply ignore, so control was the top priority when I was finished with what I was doing.

Those thoughts only took a small amount of time as the errors that I fixed in my meditative state helped to slow down my perception of time and allowed me to categorize things better.

It also allowed me to report multiple errors I noticed in the system itself with potential ways to fix them.

Once that was done, I went back to learning the techniques while marking the errors and even correcting some of them in real-time.

This process took about two hours to finish, during which a few new techniques had been placed down, and the system sent messages about learning them. I, of course, told the system to do exactly that. This is why it took two hours instead of the hour and a half I thought it would have taken.

After that was finished, I began compiling everything I had learned and started making a new technique based on the old way cultivation was done.

This process of shredding old techniques to pieces and making a new one from their scraps took about another hour and left me with something that was full of flaws. Thankfully, I already knew where the errors were and fixed them as fast as possible.

Three and a half hours later, I opened my eyes, grabbed one of the blank notebooks that Yuki was still holding, and started writing out my new technique.

This caused thunder to begin rumbling in the skies above me like it usually does during this period of time. The only difference here was that it started the moment my pencil touched the paper instead of after I wrote the first passage.

It did not bother me that much, though, as I was quite used to it at this point. Twenty minutes later, I chucked the book out the front door with new thoughts and ways to improve the technique in mind. Putting those into play, I grabbed another blank notebook and started going over the technique in my head again.

After sorting out all the new errors and mistakes in the technique, I wrote down the new version of the technique before throwing it out the front door with the other one.

This one was still a draft, as I had thoughts of even more things to add to it and decided to combine some of the medical knowledge that I had with the technique to see if that would help.

I was not disappointed by the result and made far more progress with it than I would have otherwise.

Soon, I had written out the third version and was sorting out the small things I found that I could improve. Most of it was small stuff that most people would not think of or would write off as not necessary to fix because it was too small, but the quantity made up for the problem by degrading the whole technique by one level.

Thus, I wrote out the fourth version, which fixed all of those while adding a small bit extra that pertains only to kitsune in the second major realm.

Speaking of which, I was able to create a proper categorization of body cultivation realms, which did not seem to be standardized to my knowledge. This was mainly because I had all the body tempering techniques in the Sect, not just the ones someone would think are of my current cultivation level.

The current realms that I knew of were the Post-Mortal realm or, as some could call it, the realm of superhumans, which was what most body cultivation techniques focus on. Then there was the Ascendant realm, which is almost untouched by body tempering techniques, and of the ones that do, no one cultivates them because they are so old and no one knows how to. Finally, there is the Immortal realm, which, of the small amount of body cultivation techniques that reach this realm, all of them stop here.

I even theorized that there are realms beyond the Immortal stage, but all the information I have on the next stage comes from the old cultivation techniques in the library and not from any of the body cultivation techniques that I have at the moment. So it would be quite hard to make any progress at the moment.

None of that was truly important at the moment, though, as I already knew everything about my technique and did not need to revise it at the moment to begin practicing it.

However, I was not able to start as I was quickly pulled out of my meditative state by Yuki, who tackled me right as a bolt of lightning broke through the ceiling and struck where I was sitting.

This had never happened before, and I was left sitting there shocked for a moment, wondering what had just caused this to happen.

It was then that I heard a loud boom of thunder above the house and felt like I was suddenly being observed by something. Accompanying this feeling was a surge of strange energy that was characteristic of when the elements helped me in the forest.

This time was not to help me, though, as I felt like I was being judged for something I was not completely conscious of.

That feeling lasted for a few seconds before it completely disappeared. Sunlight was soon streaming in through the window as the world became completely calm.

Taking a quick look outside at the books I threw out there, I saw that there were no scorch or burn marks around or on them. There were not even any indications that the books had moved at all.

It was then that a bolt of lightning flashed and struck the fourth book without any sound heralding or following it. The only evidence that it even happened was a single small piece of paper now resting on top of the book.

I then looked to the side to find that Mom had a serious look on her face as she stared at the piece of paper that was left behind, and while that was mildly concerning, I turned to the side to gauge Yuki’s reaction.

Unlike Mom, she was standing near where she had tackled me and was looking at all of this with a shocked expression, showing that she had no clue what was going on.

With that, I felt slightly better about what I was going to do and slowly made my way over to the book and the piece of paper that was placed on it. Mom got a little tense as I did, but nothing happened when I got close enough to pick it up.

Doing just that, I reached down and grabbed the book and the piece of paper before standing up again and putting the book under my arm.

Now, with both hands-free, I held up the piece of paper to read the nearly perfect handwriting on it.

‘Please warn me before you create a technique based off of the ancient ones again.

    -World’s Will’

Well, that was certainly unexpected.

This is the first time in a while that I have had a chapter completed in advance. Somehow, it feels strange.

Anyways, onwards to writing the next chapter.

Also, for anyone wondering, I have picked out the names for the next three stories I want to write.

The first is - Apocalypse Descent: Forsaken Lords

The Second is - Apocalypse Descent: Rise of the god Hunter

And the Third is - Scarlet Qi

Because of my own personal interests, I will be writing a pilot chapter for the second and third stories and will release a poll about which one you all would like to see in the next chapter on Thursday.

Besides that, Have a nice day/night, everyone!
