The two women were none other than Li Xueying and Su Rou, who had been expelled by Sheng Hongye's team. After providing them with some rice, Sheng Hongye prepared to leave. His decision was largely influenced by Li Xueying's elder brother.

Geng Hao scratched his head and chuckled foolishly. "No need to thank me. I'll go move the things," he said before hurrying off.

Su Ling tucked the lipstick into her pocket, and as she looked up, she noticed Sheng Hongye squinting his narrow eyes, his gaze fixed on her. The intensity of his stare made her feel inexplicably suffocated.

Feeling uncomfortable, Su Ling cleared her throat and said, "I'll go and move things too."

Rarely finding some side dishes, everyone gathered to enjoy a delicious meal with rice porridge.

Geng Hao's spirits were high. "Tomorrow, I'll search in remote areas again. Maybe we'll find more things," he said cheerfully.

Sheng Hongye, who had been silent throughout, suddenly looked up.

"I'll go tomorrow," he stated simply and clearly.
