Chapter 1: Chapter One: A New Beginning
Chapter One: A New Beginning
Leon was an ordinary person living in our world, passionate about anime, especially the world of One Piece. He was deeply fascinated by the characters and story, knowing every small detail about it. One night, while reading the latest theories about the story, he suddenly found himself engulfed in deep darkness. When he opened his eyes, he realized he was no longer in his room. Leon woke up to find himself in a luxurious room decorated with silk curtains and crystal chandeliers. The ceiling was high, adorned with golden carvings depicting naval battles and ancient legends. At first, he thought he was dreaming, but the cold air seeping through an open window made him realize that what was happening was real.
When he tried to stand up, he felt an odd heaviness in his body. He looked at his hands and found them small, almost like those of a child. Then his gaze fell on a massive mirror in the corner. As he approached it, he was struck with shock. He didn't see his usual reflection but that of a young boy, around two years old, with golden hair like the sun and bright blue eyes.
"What's going on here?" Leon muttered. Before he could make sense of what had happened, the door swung open, and a woman dressed in elegant royal attire entered, followed by a group of servants. The woman appeared imposing, with long black hair and sharp eyes.
"Prince Leon, it's time for your morning breakfast," she said in a firm voice, yet with a hidden warmth. He had now found himself in the world of One Piece, reborn as the prince of the Kingdom of Arcadia, a powerful but isolated kingdom in the Grand Line.
He had been born into a royal family that ruled over Arcadia, one of the wealthiest kingdoms in the Grand Line, thanks to its natural resources and strategic position between the islands. Since his childhood, Leon had lived in a gilded palace, surrounded by servants and strict education. His father, King Reginaldo de Arthur, was a cold and decisive figure, while his mother, Queen Eliza, was a diplomatic woman skilled at gaining allies but fully submissive to her husband's influence and the policies of the World Government.
The Discovery of the Truth
From a young age, Leon noticed a contradiction between the luxurious life of royalty and the suffering of the common people. He would overhear whispers from the servants about high taxes, families being sold into slavery to the Celestial Dragons to pay off debts, and fertile lands being plundered for the benefit of the World Nobles.
One day, while wandering through the palace library, he found secret documents revealing long-term agreements between his family and the World Government. His family was handing over vast amounts of resources, and even people as slaves, to ensure the kingdom's protection from pirate attacks or the threat of the Buster Call.
It was here that the internal conflict in Leon began to form. Although he had been born in a golden palace, his sense of justice and memories from his past life made him reject this unjust system. He decided he would not be just a tool in the hands of his father or the World Government.
