Beneath a towering building in Roc City, the streets were nearly deserted, wrapped in an eerie silence.

‘The wheelchair’s still here. Looks like the bodyguards are doing their job,’ Yaeger thought as she approached the entrance.

Yaeger carried Little Fairy to the building’s entrance, noticing the wheelchair neatly placed behind the glass doors. Clearly, the bodyguards had left it for her.

"You’ll have to stick with the wheelchair for the next few days," Yaeger said, glancing down at Little Fairy cradled in her arms.

"That’s fine," Little Fairy nodded, her cheeks still slightly flushed.

Though she knew little of the supernatural or mystical, Little Fairy was fully aware that what Yaeger had done was beyond extraordinary.

"Your legs are considered incurable by modern medicine. If anyone finds out they’ve healed overnight, it’ll draw unwanted attention," Yaeger explained calmly.

"I get it," Little Fairy replied. She had seen enough of the darker sides of society to know that miracles like this could invite trouble, even harm those she loved. After all, her very existence had been a burden to many.

"Just hang in there for a few days," Yaeger added.

Yaeger had been growing stronger at an astonishing pace. In just a few days, she expected to rival even Lisa Black, the mightiest warrior in Cathay. By then, such problems would no longer matter. Anyone foolish enough to threaten her or her people would be swiftly dealt with.

"I’ll be fine," Little Fairy smiled softly.

"Go on inside. I’ve got other things to take care of," Yaeger said, stepping toward the entrance as she waited for Little Fairy to input the passcode.

Little Fairy quickly punched the passcode into the electronic lock. With a soft click, the door unlocked. Yaeger pushed the door open and carefully placed Little Fairy into the wheelchair.

"And don’t be too shocked when you look in the mirror," Yaeger added before turning and swiftly walking away, leaving a puzzled Little Fairy behind.

With another click, the door locked behind her.

As Yaeger’s dazzling figure disappeared into the night, Little Fairy was suddenly overwhelmed with a sense of loneliness. It was a feeling she rarely experienced—like sipping a cup of black coffee, bitter and hollow.

"Princess," Little Fairy whispered, her voice soft and wistful, as the bitterness in her heart deepened. Yet, mingling with that bitterness was a sudden sweetness that blossomed in her chest.

The blend of emotions formed a complex, intoxicating sensation, one that filled her with indescribable delight.

‘I… I really do like Princess,’ she thought, the realization settling in.

She sighed softly. Her thoughts drifted to that incredibly handsome Yaeger she hadn’t seen in so long.

‘I wonder how he's doing now… Has he escaped his predicament yet?' With that thought in mind, she placed her hands on the wheels and pushed forward, like always. Yet, the sensation felt a bit strange this time.

"Hehe, with my legs healed, this feels kind of unnatural," she chuckled to herself.

Smiling, she called the elevator, entered, and pressed the button for her floor. Little Fairy soon returned to her home. The living room lights were still on, but no one was in sight.

"Looks like Auntie and Uncle have already gone to bed," she muttered softly.

She carefully wheeled herself toward her room, making sure to stay as quiet as possible.

"I’m really not used to this," she murmured, standing up from the wheelchair once inside her room.

Even now, she was still in disbelief. Not only were her legs healed, but they seemed even better than before the accident. It felt as though they were more flexible and stronger.

"And Princess said not to be scared when I looked in the mirror. What did she mean by that?" Little Fairy sat on her bed and picked up a small mirror resting on her pillow.

When she took a clear look at her reflection, she was instantly frozen in shock.

‘Who is this… beautiful girl?'

The reflection staring back at her was flawless, her skin as smooth as a freshly peeled egg. All the imperfections had been erased by Yaeger’s treatment. She was now more beautiful than ever.

"Is this… really me?" Little Fairy looked herself over, utterly baffled by the sight before her. "This has to be a lie… There’s not a single flaw…"

Just then, she recalled Yaeger's parting words.

"I definitely got scared…" she muttered. It was natural—she looked like a completely different person.

"The flaws everywhere else are gone too…" She undressed and inspected her body closely, growing more surprised by the second.

"Even here…" she whispered, her face heating up. "Ugh, Princess, that’s so embarrassing!"

Before she could even finish, she dove under the covers, her face as red as a tomato. She let out an embarrassed, yet happy, smile.

Meanwhile, Yaeger moved at an incredible speed, like a bullet fired from a gun. Her destination was Rakshasa’s apartment.

While she rushed ahead, someone else had just reached theirs. In the game world, at the northern border fortress of the Jade Empire, a massive army clad in black had arrived at the fortress foothold.

Their arrival was met with cheers resounding throughout the fortress. These black-clad troops were the long-awaited reinforcements. Not just any reinforcements—their Emperor himself was leading them!

Indeed, the imposing army hailed from Jade City and was commanded by none other than Richard.

At that moment, Richard stepped out of his carriage, clad in black plate armor. His expression was grave, and his aura radiated power.

Wasting no time on formalities, Richard strode straight into the fortress to be briefed on the latest developments.

"Any changes regarding the Sky Empire?" he asked, his gaze fixed on the detailed sandbox map in the strategy room.

"Your Majesty, the Sky Empire's army remains stationary. No notable changes. However, according to our scouts, they may launch a surprise attack tonight!" reported a bearded officer.

"Anything else?" Richard asked, his frown deepening with impatience.

"Yes, Your Majesty," the officer replied, a blank expression on his face.

"Speak," Richard snapped, his patience wearing thin.

"Well, Your Majesty, I’ve heard rumors that the army is being assembled for…spring hunting…" the officer continued hesitantly.

"Fool!" Richard slammed his fist onto the table, cutting him off mid-sentence.

‘Spring hunting, my foot! They're preparing to invade! Who hunts right on someone else’s doorstep?' he thought furiously.

His anger surged so violently he almost felt sick. Just then…

"Report! The Sky Empire's forces are advancing toward us!" a sentry rushed in, shouting frantically.

Upon hearing the report, Richard clenched his fists in barely contained fury. "Let's see what that old fox is up to!" he growled.

With that, Richard motioned for his subordinates and headed toward the fortress gates.

Meanwhile, in Roc City, the real world…

"Here I am," Yaeger muttered as she arrived outside Rakshasa’s upscale apartment building.
