The list was the very name list given to Ye Xin a while back to pick out an Alpha.

Old Patriarch Ye spent a lot of time and effort to pick out good single Alphas at a suitable age from people he had a good relationship with in order to find a partner for his son.

The reason he picked Gu Yan was because of his friendship with the old Gu patriarch. Since Gu Yan was also his youngest, he should mix well with Ye Xin’s temperament.

But who knew…that something like that would happen on Ye Xin’s side.

Fortunately, they only had a talk in private. The matter didn’t get blown out of proportions until everyone knew.

In the afternoon, Ye Xin also came to look for the old patriarch to talk to him.

Old Patriarch Ye was pissed just at the sight of him, but Omegas had weak bodies after all. His old partner loved this child especially much, even to the point of pulling his hand before departing and telling him to find him a good mate. Old Patriarch Ye glared at him and bellowed, “Shut up!”

The other was the youngest son of the Ye family, a beautiful Omega with a strong background. It really was like a pie falling out of the sky. Happy days.

Just like that, Ye Qing was hauled off to the Omega Association while unconscious.

The effects of the tranquilizer wouldn’t wear off until the night. The timing was perfect, and there was no better time for a marking than during the night.

Even though Ye Qing had taken an inhibitor, it didn’t matter. There were things specially designed to deal with inhibitors, as well as drugs that could prompt Omegas to enter their heat.

After everything was ready, they just had to wait for the beautiful Omega to wake up.

When Ye Qing woke up, his mind was blank. It felt like he had just had a dream where he transmigrated into a strange world and fell in love with his big brother.

The mention of his brother reminded him of Shi Yue, and then things were awkward. (t/n: that’s his biological brother before he died)

He struggled to get up, and when he turned around he saw a stranger sitting next to him.

When Suo Ye saw Shi Qing waking up, he gave him a gentle smile. “Awake? My name is Suo Ye.”

Shi Qing was confused. Who was this man? Suo Ye? Never heard of him.

Shi Qing sat up and was in a daze for a while before snapping back to reality. This place…This was no hospital!

Even though the walls were white, the room was a little too ornately decorated. Especially the bed he was sleeping on. The golden curtains, the bedsheets…none of these belonged in a hospital.

The choppy memories from before quickly lined up together. Shi Qing finally came back to his senses.

That wasn’t a fucking dream! It was fucking real!

He was kissing and hugging Ye Qing’s blood brother!

Only then did Shi Qing come back to his senses, but he still couldn’t figure out what was going on.

Soon after, there was no need for him to think too much anymore.

An unbearable heat quickly awakened inside of him. His fingertips felt hot, and the heat felt alive as it crawled up his limbs, attacking his spine, causing a shudder of electricity to run down to his abdomen. He felt a fire churning inside there. No, it was his internal organs that were burning!

Under the intense heat, however, his body felt like it was being drained. A soft force was taking control of his body, making it so he couldn’t help but fall softly against the edge of the bed.

Shi Qing was inexperienced, but he clearly realized what was happening.

He was rutting. He was fucking rutting in this strange place!

Damn this body! Damn this fucking rut!

He couldn’t control himself at all, just like a lunatic.

Damn this world!

At the same time, Suo Ye, who had been gentle and polite the whole time stood up abruptly. His entire body was eager as he smelled the scent in the air in fascination.

Hey all. Sorry for the delay. Not that it’s the only reason, but for some reason we’ve been having trouble with our internet receiver, so I’m waiting once again for the install guys to come fix it. It always happens before a weekend. My kids and I have been watching Naruto together (sometimes when someone gets stabbed I’m like…should I be letting my 5 and 7 year olds watch this??), so it’s sad for us since there will be no Netflix this weekend, since the chance that they’ll come today is almost zero.
