Chapter 49 Exposed
Lately Brandon was annoyed. Staying in this Snake Valley all the time made him feel very bored, especially when he was getting bigger and bigger in size.
He looked at his fleshy golden wings. Ever since he got them, he had yet to fly properly. Every time, he just circled around the small Snake Valley. This was not enjoyable for the giant dragon who could fly higher and faster.
Often within a few minutes, he had to turn back while flying. Brandon, who was careful and cautious, had to circle back and forth again and again. He longed for freedom, and he wished that the whole world would be at his disposal, but this obviously did not work, and he could only be careful all the time.
Today he really couldn't stand being restricted in his flight anymore. This is a tropical rainforest, there shouldn't be human activity around here. So there shouldn't be any need for me to be careful. So he decided to go skimming around in the air.
After really making up his mind, he felt that he was suddenly much more relaxed. A dragon belongs to the entire heaven and earth, not to nestle in a valley and hide its head and tail.
He unfolded his fleshy wings, his golden wings emitted a dazzling light in the sunlight. As he violently flapped them a few times, the gusts of wind rose in all directions, the flying sands went away and the huge body slowly detached itself from the ground, and flew upwards.
Slowly he began to fly upwards into the sky, and the violent gusts of wind rushed towards him. He seemed to have a layer of invisible membrane on his body, the violent wind seemed to have no effect on him at all, even his eyes did not feel the slightest discomfort.
He flapped his wings, his speed grew faster and faster, he flew higher and higher, gradually over the mountains, through the white clouds, he finally soared above the nine heavens.
Everything on the ground was so small, but so clear to his keen eyes. Through the dense jungle, a herd of zebras were running wildly, a few wild cattle were grazing leisurely by the lake, and lions were eyeing in the distance, occasionally giving a cozy yawn.
Everything was so small in his eyes, he turned around and felt so soothed that he couldn't help but want to roar. But a sudden unknown noise came from the clouds, and before he could react, an airliner suddenly pierced through the clouds and appeared in front of him.
He suddenly froze for a moment before hurriedly making a turn and disappearing into the clouds.
After a few breaths, it disappeared. His heart was beating violently, both nervous and excited. There was also a hidden regret. Why did he not destroy the airliner as soon as he saw it?
Brandon estimated that as long as he could send an earth spear, this airliner would definitely be destroyed, and then he could do a swamp spell on the destroyed airliner, and then add a gravity spell to destroy the body, and keep the mysterious black box that no one would be able to find.
Let's go back. It's too late. The captain must have already made contact with the airport to report what he saw. While thinking about this, Brandon quickly flew to Snake Valley.
After Brandon left, there was a sudden clamour inside the airliner, several ladies suddenly fainted to the ground, and the airliner was like a farmer's market. People began to pray. One obese middle-aged woman patted her towering chest and said in an exaggerated tone, "That damn thing could not be real!"
In the captain's room, the captain was incoherent as he began to report to the airport. "Is this London Airport? This is Captain Ellison of planebus A13132.”
“Yes, I am!”
“What's the situation, you ask? Well, you're not going to believe this but… it was definitely an unidentified flying object. A really big reptilian animal, over seven metres long, and he just appeared out of nowhere in front of the plane.”
“The plane? Of course the plane's okay. The contact period was minimal.”
“I don't want to believe in myself either. But it's absolutely true. The whole plane saw it. Hey hey!" The captain, who was still intent on continuing, realised that the other side had hung up.
"Assholes!" The captain said indignantly, “Brooke, keep an eye on what's going on here, I'm guessing its lair is nearby." Captain Ellison said to the co-pilot, a young lad.
Brooke checked the map and said excitedly: "Reporting to the captain, this is the Amazon rainforest, latitude and longitude are 3°, 62°. I've already recorded it." "That's good then, young man, you know what? We can be famous, we've won a lottery! This will surely shock the world. I really doubt I'm dreaming." The captain said excitedly.
"Yes, captain. But wouldn't that thing be dangerous?" Brooke asked curiously.
"Hmm… You have me stumped with that question. Maybe. But could that thing beat a bullet?" The captain suddenly said fervently.
"It didn't attack us just now, I guess it was afraid of the plane." Brook said.
“Once the matter is reported, the military would surely get involved. Let's hope we get our share of profit and fame from this before the government gets involved." Ellison's sudden excitement swept away and became somewhat frustrated.
