RE: Reality Smuggler (R-18)

Chapter 50 – Overpowered Evolution Paths. She said hi.

June 29th, Wednesday Morning.

Waking up with a content smile, I looked at Tess peacefully asleep in my arms under a thin quilt. Her face was glossy and rosy from the passionate night we had.

Listening to her gentle heartbeat made me calm and satisfied.

And then I looked at the messages that popped up last night but were ignored due to being busy plowing fields.

{Synthesis Complete}

{New Stable Ascended Evolution Paths Available: Ascended Polymath, Ascended Royalty, Ascended Dreamer}

"Oh, nice! Three new paths! I thought it would only yield one." - I thought.

{It is the case sometimes, but when multiple strengths and focus points are available, the synthesis branches into different potential paths.}

"Hm... I see." - I nodded and started checking them.

{Ascended Polymath: An Ascended who is treading all seven orthodox paths of the Ascended. The Polymath is a fast learner, even by Ascended standards, and can quickly learn and master all of his vast repertoire of racial affinities. Both wise men and fighters, Polymaths can use their versatile psychic abilities in any given situation, making them a formidable opponent for anyone unfortunate enough to face them. While the Polymath has greater versatility and his body strength and mental energy are high, the price is many times higher, making it an unpractical evolution on a grand scale. However, they can serve as the elites among the elite of the Ascended legions, Champions, and Think Tanks and have Ruler-class resistance to Authority.}

{Ascended Royalty: An Ascended who treads on the path of Warfare, Authority, and Vision. The Royal Ascended not only has the triple affinities of the Psi-Warrior, Shapeshifter, and Mindweaver but also has a far grander vision and intelligence, able to unify a small continent under his far-reaching Crystal Network. As the natural-born ruler of the Ascended, his Authority is that of a Kin Ruler and cannot be commanded by any Non-Royal Ascended. The Royal Ascended is more of a commander than a fighter but has incredible dueling potential when faced with danger. The Royal Ascended are gifted with more powerful physiques and mental energy but have bad cost-efficiency, making them unpractical evolution paths on a grand scale. However, they can serve as excellent regional rulers and seeded planetary rulers.}

{Ascended Dreamer: Abandoning all other ways, the Ascended Dreamer walks on a grander and non-linear route, Reality Bending. The Dreamers are not bound by affinity, as the very fabrics of reality dance to their whims, only limited by their willpower and energy. Instead of accumulating knowledge and Authority, the Dreamers forgo it all and focus on unbound freedom of body and mind, separating them from the Kin Authority chain of command. They boast superior bodies and high mental energy, but their Crystal Network is crippled, as their crystal is repurposed to perceive the fabrics of reality around them. In Kin Society, they are wild cards, uncontrolled and unbound, and their purpose is to help the race in times of crisis against unimaginable forces and unconditionally respected by all. They have the potential of an unreality race, and their price is equivalently astronomical.}

"... Broken. They are all broken. Especially the Dreamer. Fucking BROKEN." - I thought after I read it all.

To summarize:

  1. Polymath = Fast Learning Sage and All-Mastery Champion
  2. Royalty = Far-Reaching High Authority Ruler with legit combat power
  3. Dreamer = Reality Bender who doesn't give a FUCK about anyone, with a capital F

Yeah, they are THAT broken. I feel I just unraveled Pandora's box or evolution branches that were supposed to pop thousands of years later.

The Polymath is what I originally wanted, having all affinities and fast learning ability, but the Royalty and Dreamer came as a pleasant surprise.

The Royalty was like an instant win, unifying a small continent immediately, followed by dominating a planet. It was exactly what I needed right now. Of course, I didn't plan on using it and instead planned on giving it to Primrose. And then, the energy will flow like a river, giving me the capital to do whatever I wanted.

As for the Dreamer... I wasn't sure what to think about it. Sure... It's powerful as hell, but it has some very obvious downsides. One, its Crystal Network is crippled, and two, it's expensive as fuck, or so it says.

And, looking at the evolutions, it is...

Currently available evolutionary routes:

  1. Ascended Psi-Warrior: Cost: 750 Evolution Energy A. 7,500 Basic Energy. Estimated Time: 6.25 hours
  2. Ascended Shapeshifter: Cost: 750 Evolution Energy A. 7,500 Basic Energy. Estimated Time: 6.25 hours
  3. Ascended Relicsmith: Cost: 750 Evolution Energy A. 7,500 Basic Energy. Estimated Time: 6.25 hours
  4. Ascended Biomancer: Cost: 750 Evolution Energy A. 7,500 Basic Energy. Estimated Time: 6.25 hours
  5. Ascended Technomancer: Cost: 750 Evolution Energy A. 7,500 Basic Energy. Estimated Time: 6.25 hours
  6. Ascended Pathfinder: Cost: 1,000 Evolution Energy A. 10,000 Basic Energy. Estimated Time: 8.5 hours
  7. Ascended Mindweaver: Cost: 1,000 Evolution Energy A. 10,000 Basic Energy. Estimated Time: 8.5 hours
  8. Ascended Polymath: Cost: 10,000 Evolution Energy A. 100,000 Basic Energy. Estimated Time: 85 hours
  9. Ascended Royalty: Cost: 10,000 Evolution Energy A. 100,000 Basic Energy. Estimated Time: 85 hours
  10. Ascended Dreamer: Cost: 100,000 Evolution Energy A. 1,000,000 Basic Energy. Estimated Time: 850 hours

Just looking at the price made me constipated. Not to mention that I need over a month to evolve into that monster, which is thanks to my immortal body doing its mojo.

It was simply unacceptable.

On the other hand, the Polymath was much more suitable for me right now. It's not because of its affinities but because of its learning speed.

I need training and knowledge, and the Polymath can grant me both.

And it helps that I can somehow afford it.

"Anyways, I can devolve myself in the future, so it's all good." - I thought.

And with Trod not commenting on it means I am not wrong in my judgment.

While I was concluding my thoughts, I suddenly noticed Tess started moving.

"Good morning." - I smiled, stroking her shoulder.

"Good morning." - She replied with a relaxed smile, her hand caressing my chest.

"Did you sleep well?" - I asked.

"It's hard not to after you tire me like that." - She smiled contently.

"It's hard not to when you tempt me so much." - I gave her a wolfish smile.

"But you seem unsatisfied." - Tess glanced at my crotch.

Unknowingly, I had a morning wood.

"Then what do you want to do about it?" - I raised an eyebrow.

"Hmhmhm~" - Tess giggled.

Like a lazy cat, she slowly pushed her naked body up and straddled me.

"How about this?" - Tess asked while pushing her butt against Iver Jr.

"Oh... by all means, continue." - I moaned and encouraged.

"Lay back and relax. I'll do everything." - She ordered and raised her waist.

"Yes, ma'am! Oh!" - I moaned as she dropped it down.

...

After a fun morning with Tess, we had a shower and breakfast, and I was about to go to the Ascended World when Tess suddenly asked a question.

"Hey, Iver? Do you have a Zealot there?" - She said with a smile.

Not thinking about it too much, I nodded.

"Yes. My first Zealot, Primrose, and my third Zealot, Zemira, are there." - I truthfully answered.

"So, Primrose is your first Zealot, and I'm your second Zealot?" - Tess's smile widened ever-so-slightly.

"Hm? Yes. B-But you're my first in the world." - For some reason, I suddenly felt a chill, so I hurriedly said this.

"Oh, Alright!" - Tess's smile returned to normal.

"Then, did you do it with them?" - Tess asked with a meaningful smile.

"Tess, they have the body of a 6-year-old. That's Pretty far out of my strike zone. Primrose even calls me dad." - I cringed and said.

"A 6-year-old? How did that happen?" - Tess asked incredulously.

"Ah, well, kind of a wacky story..." - I said and began to explain.

Ten minutes later...

"So, she was initially a humanoid monster called a Minion, who you then evolved into a Transhuman in the body of a rapidly-growing 6-year-old?" - Tess asked.

"That's the gist of it." - I shrugged.

"Yeah, that's pretty crazy." - Tess nodded.

And then her eyes turned sharp.

"So that means she is a hormonally-unstable child with the mind of an adult who, by her volition, calls you dad?" - Tess asked with narrowed eyes.

"Eh... I guess so?" - I raised an eyebrow, feeling something wrong.

"... Iver, I hope you're not that dense, but be careful she doesn't straddle your bone until her body fully matures." - Tess said with a Tepid look.

I wanted to say it won't happen, but there was a chance she would.

"... Okay, I'll be careful." - I nodded with a weird look.

"Good! Oh, and say hi to Primrose." - Tess smiled.

For some reason, I felt something was off, but I didn't know what.

"Eh? Sure." - I nodded.

And so, after the awkward talk, I traveled to the Ascended World.

...

Arriving at the left sphere, I exited it and saw 199 cocoons on the floor.

The only girls left were Zemira and Primrose, both wearing leather loincloths.

"Iver!" - Primrose smiled, waved her little hand, and ran to me.

She sounded like a kid about to get a big birthday present.

Zemira was more reserved as she walked over.

"Hey, Primrose. Hey, Zemira." - I smiled at the two girls.

"Hello, Sir Iver." - Zemira nodded.

"Iver, everyone is evolving since last night!" - Primrose said with a smile.

"Hm. Good. It will likely take a day or two for them to finish evolving." - I nodded and looked at Zemira.

"Zemira, what evolution did you choose?" - I asked.

"Mindweaver, Sir Iver." - Zemira smiled.

I silently nodded. It is unlikely that an Ascended will pass on evolving into either Pathfinder or Mindweaver.

"Go choose a spot and lay on the ground, and I will evolve you." - I smiled and said.

"Thank you, Sir Iver." - She respectfully nodded, walked to a corner, and lay on the ground.

And with that, I pointed in her direction and spent some energy to evolve her into a Mindweaver.

Immediately, she went up in black flames. She will stay like this for a good fourteen hours.

And then I looked at Primrose, who had a bright and expectant smile.

"No worries, I didn't forget about you." - I smiled, knowing what she wanted.

"I love you, Daddy!" - Primrose immediately hugged my waist.

"Hmhm, no problem." - I smiled and patted her head.

Like a spoiled child, Primrose smiled and snuggled more.

But then, her nose twitched.

"Sniff* Sniff*...  You're seeing that woman again, aren't you?" - Primrose suddenly asked, her eyes sharp.1The Loli smelled a thieving cat.

"Hah?" - I uttered in incomprehension.

"Daddy, is the woman you're seeing also a Zealot?" - Primrose squinted.

"Eh? Yeah. I have a girlfriend named Tess, and she is also a Zealot... Oh, and she said hi." - I raised an eyebrow, finding her wording strange, but subconsciously answered.

"... Who is your first?" - Primrose's face frosted.2Loli entered yandere mode.

"... Eh?" - I uttered.

"I asked, who is your first Zealot!" - Primrose jealously asked, hugging me tighter.3Stage 1 Yandere leveled up to Stage 2.

"Eh... You're the first. She's my second Zealot." - I answered, slightly shaken.

"..."

"..."

We both remained silent until her face suddenly defrosted and returned to a charming smile, letting go of my waist.4The inner yandere calmed down... for now.

"Hehehe~ So I'm your first~." - She giggled happily.5The Loli is happy.

"Hehe... yeah..." - Was the only thing I could reply, feeling weirded out.

After recovering from my shock, I changed the subject.

"Okay... So, I'll be straight. I managed to synthesize three evolution paths, but unfortunately, I can't allow you to choose what you want out of the three. However, this evolution is undoubtedly powerful, and I would have chosen it under different circumstances." - I said.

"No problem! I'm just glad I can have something unique! So, what is it?" - Primrose smiled and asked.

"It's called Ascended Royalty..." - I said and explained the details.

The more I explained, the more Primrose's eyes shined.

"So, do you want—"

"I want it!" - Primrose widened her eyes and shouted.

I couldn't help but stare at her with a dumbfounded gaze.

"..."

"... Hehe... Sorry." - Primrose awkwardly said, her face crimson.

"... Right. Let's see how much energy we have first." - I said and checked my energy.

Basic Energy: 39,650

Evolution Energy A: 34,805

As for how much energy Primrose needs?

Ascended Royalty: Cost: 4,128 Evolution Energy A. 41,280 Basic Energy. Estimated Time: 137 hours

The Evolution Energy was sufficient, but I needed more Basic Energy.

Luckily, I have an energy generator near me.

Stored Energy: Basic Energy: 406,128(Stored)

"Hah? The number doesn't add up. It should have been around 50,000." - I thought.

But then, I noticed how the number was accumulating like crazy. Each second gave around 4 points of energy.

"... Primrose? Why is the energy increasing so fast?" - I asked weirdly.

"Oh, that? I think the embryonic Minions outside started forming consciousness since you left, so they are generating energy." - Primrose smiled and said.

"Ah... Right." - I nodded.

There were dozens of millions of Minions, growing for 3-4 days. If they formed consciousness and became believers or even started praying, then the numbers make sense.

After all, even if one of them only contributed less than 0.01 points a day, 10,000,000 can produce 100,000 points a day, and there are several times more than that outside.

Anyways, my energy requirements are now solved.

Basic Energy: 39,650 -> 446,018

After extracting the energy from the Dark Idol, I turned to Primrose.

"Okay, where do you want to evolve? This evolution would take close to 6 days." - I said.

"Then let me evolve inside the left sphere." - Primrose pointed.

"Sure." - I nodded.

Walking inside the mini-sphere, I turned to Primrose.

"Pick wherever you want, and we'll begin." - I said.

"Okay... But, before that, can I have a hug?" - Primrose innocently smiled and raised her hands.

"A hug?" - I raised an eyebrow.

"Please?" - Primrose asked with a pleading look.

Helplessly smiling, I kneeled and was about to hug her...

And then she suddenly moved with inhuman speed!

Before I could react, her face was facing mine, and her lips pressed against my lips.

"Mmm~" - She passionately kissed me, her hands hugging my head.

I froze in shock, my hands in the air, not knowing what to do.

A conflicted feeling rose in my heart, as one part of me wanted to push her away, and the other did not want to hurt her.

Luckily, it didn't last long, and ten seconds later, she let go of me.

As our lips separated, a mischievous glint flashed in her eyes.

Those are not the eyes of a kid. Those are the eyes of an adult!

"I’ll let her have you for now, Daddy~, hmhmhm~" - Primrose chuckled in a childish voice and let go. 6The Loli(?) marked her territoy

While I was petrified, Primrose already lay on the floor.

"Well? Are we starting or not, Daddy?" - Primrose innocently asked.

Her question woke me up from my stupor.

"Ah... Right." - I uttered and placed my hand on her head.

"Sleep well, Primrose. It will be over in a flash." - I said.

"See you soon! And say hi to Tess." - Primrose smiled.

"... Right. I'll do that." - I said and started the evolution.

Basic Energy: 446,018 -> 404,738

Evolution Energy A: 34,805 -> 30,677

And then, Primrose went up in black flames.

I was now alone, with only the sound of Lord Arnerd eating meat in my ears.

Looking at Primrose, I couldn't help shaking my head.

"What a mess... I never thought she would be jealous of Tess like that... And that she would behave like an experienced adult. Ugh... Dammit." - I pinched my nose bridge.

Taking a few more breaths to calm down, I looked around and found nothing interesting, so I spent time integrating knowledge before returning.

...

In the early evening, I found myself back in the house, where Tess was cooking dinner.

"Hm~ Hm~" - Tess hummed some song.

"Tess, I'm home!" - I said.

Tess turned to me and smiled.

"Oh, just in time! I am cooking some bolognese! Please prepare the table." - She happily said and returned to cooking.

Smiling, I started preparing the table when Tess spoke.

"So, how was your day?" - Tess asked.

"It was good... Oh, and Cough* Primrose says hi." - I said awkwardly.

Tess seemed to freeze for a moment, before continuing cooking.

"Oh, that's nice. Hehe~" - Tess laughed, her voice as calm as ever.

However, if I could hear her inner voice, I would hear her saying:

"Challange accepted, bitch!"
