You are not a freak. Not to me anyways. I find you kind of cute. Let’s make a deal, Alfie. Let’s meet up here in the woods every Saturday. It will be our special place to be ourselves. But have to come here to school with me. Deal?
Indeed, Marco was having her own problems tonight.
She would wake up from her dream as she quickly rose. But something was wrong as her hands were chained behind her back, and she wore a muzzle. She then saw Father Raphael, the man in a trench coat, and a few others armed with AR-15 rifles.
So this is how I go out... Marco dreaded.
"Finally, you're awake. Now we can play this little game," Father Raphael said with a sinister smile.
“Bastard!” Marco tried to lunge after him, but she was chained up and couldn’t move forward.
The guards cowardly raised their guns as they thought she would break them.
"Weapons down! She's only human..." Bain reassured.
Father Raphael cleared his throat as he explained the situation, "You see, little girl, they weren't expecting to have company over. We thought she was alone that night."
“Murderers!” Marco growled.
Father Raphael laughed at her pain, "Murderers? The last time I checked, these dark creatures give themselves to the devil long before reaching hell. What we have done was set herself free--"
“My Lord?” Another armed guard came into the house, interrupting Father Raphael.
Of course, this intrusion peeved Father Raphael, "Can't you see I am doing my best work here? What is it?" The armed guard whispered into his ear. "So she is alive...”
Hearing help about her friend surviving that assault, she tried to edge closer to Father Raphael, "What? She is alive?"
“You keep your distance!” Bain threatens.
“Fuck you!” Marco is defiant.
Bain was about to approach Marco, but Father Raphael stopped him, "Wait! This is now interesting..." Father Raphael pushed Bain aside as he walked toward Marco flirtatiously, "In the hailstorm of bullets and fire, what anybody would survive that is anyone's guess. But I can take a guess--"
“She is not a witch, you damn sissy!” Marco interrupted.
Father Raphael scowls at Marco. Taking a couple of steps back, he extended his arm at Marco and clenched his fist, emanating a white fireball in his hand.
“I dare you to say that again!” Father Raphael shouted.
Marco scoffed at the idea, "Sweetie, unlike Lord Caliber, it was a compliment. And to be honest, you are my type." Even though they could see her smile, she did wink at Father Raphael.
However, Father Raphael found it appalling while he lowered his hand, dissipating the fireball, "as I would ever go through that disgusting hole. I would rather have a pure woman and one with God. That someone who delves into the muck, becoming the devil's concubine."
“Don’t knock it if you try it, Ralphie!” Marco flirted.
Father Raphael just looked at her with such disdain he could burn a hole through Marco's head.
You still don’t recognize me, huh? Marco thought.
"Set it up. Now!" Father Raphael ordered.
Bain approached Marco and placed a body camera on Marco’s chest.
"The harness we strapped on you will hold this body camera, and Bain has the only key," Father Raphael explains. "With that camera, we can monitor your every move. We want to see your reactions in real-time." He said with a smirk.
"What? Am I being hunted by you sick cunts?” Marco suggested.
"Not by us, I'm afraid. But what is outside these doors." Father Raphael corrected. "I heard that this entire area is brimming with dark energy so much that it affects wild animals. Foxes, wolves, and other predators. Most even believe that spirits take human flesh at night. And that is why you're here. I want to see it for myself."
“Want to do yourself a favor and act like a real man for once...” Marco insulted.
But Father Raphael wasn't even angry as he smiled, "All jokes aside, at least I'm going to be walking out of here. And unlike you, sweetie, you will only last the night because I'm giving you eight hours, between sunset and first light, to make it out of this area alive. And if you don't do it in time, I'll visit the nearest hospital, kill your lesbian friend, and drown that newborn baby myself. That seems fair enough of a wager..."
Realizing the severity of the situation, Marco didn’t make a smart remark.
Bain even smiled at this, “Now she’s nice and quiet... We are live, by the way...”
“Good, let me see!” Father Raphael leans over to see Maine’s smartphone as they can see their selves in the shot. "Nice! Okay, let's get out of here."
Father Raphael and his crew left the dilapidated house with those parting words. Now, all alone and helpless. Silence has deftly crept into the house. She took the time to look around to see pretty much nothing. Everything was bare and broken down. It looked like it survived a fire, but she wasn't so sure. The house itself smells like old cherry oak wood, something common for a house of this size.
Marco couldn't turn around since her binds were tight. She wasn't going anywhere anytime soon. If only she could—
