Killar Maid
[Re-estize Kingdom]
A group of knights stood before the door that led into the dungeon, with clear boredom on their faces, a few of them were a bit upset that they weren't even given chairs to sit while they waited for the princess to eventually exit.
"Do you guys actually want the princess captured?"
One of them asked curiously as he decided he had had enough of standing and sat down on the floor.
"It's not like we have any choice in the matter, not unless you're willing to die for her"
One of the other knights answered. He was leaning on his spear as he said all that. His words caused the others to contemplate a bit more on the matter.
"I haven't worked for her yet, so I don't know, but out of the two princes, I'd rather she be the one to rule."
The others silently nodded to those words, from what they've heard and the little they've seen of the princess she at least seemed to care, her attempts at abolishing slavery and her direct opposition toward the criminal organisation eight fingers showed them that she at least cared about the well being of the people.
"Well its–"
*creak*
The creak of the opening iron door interrupted their conversation and forced them to be on guard. Clutching their spears and swords, they waited for the door to fully open. Their muscles tensed as they felt a confrontation was afoot.
The door slowly creaked open, revealing more and more of the inside of the dungeon, and its slow opening only served to intensify the tension in the knights' hearts.
The princess had locked herself in there for hours, and her opening might mean she let loose some crazy criminals, not to mention they had mixed feelings about capturing the princess.
In a sudden action the door swung open and slammed onto the wall before blurs exited from within, shining knives flew In the air and before the knights had any chance to react their heads were lopped off and blood sprayed and stained the low ceiling before their bodies dropped to the floor.
"Well I see being a maid didn't make you rusty at all, nor did it make you soft"
Malmvist exited the dungeon as he stretched his arms and did his best to loosen his stiff shoulders. He quickly crouched down and began to take a dead knight's pants.
Pershurian did the same but remained silent, or rather, he felt a bit self-conscious about being naked.
"Please, I'd be more worried about you than me. You just spent months being chained to a wall."
Edstrom answered as sharp knife-like blades spun around her hand circulating around it, her maid outfit was stained with a bit of blood but she hardly cared but one thing for certain and that was she missed this type of action.
"That will not affect my performance, so don't worry about me."
He said as he and Pershurian put on the pants and finally had something to wear after months.
"Let's advance. The news of this won't reach Babro's ears for at least a few minutes, so let's cover more ground before that"
Renner stated as she exited the dungeon. She used her hands to lift up her dress and stepped on the dead bodies to avoid touching the blood that had pooled on the floor.
She and her servants moved, exiting the underground hallway and going up the stairs and finally reached above ground, Edstrom was leading the group, and Pershurian was staying close to her side, Malmvist took the middle.
Renner had wanted to free Khajiit. However, she didn't feel confident that she would be able to convince him to serve her, so she refrained. Plus, he was a necromancer she didn't trust he was sane.
It didn't take long after their departure from the dungeon before the castle was in chaos, as they encountered plenty of knights who did their jobs and tried to capture them, however with Edstrom and Malmvist they took care of all of them.
They turned a corner and were immediately rushed by three knights, one carrying a sword and two other had spears, spotting them, one of the knights charged with his spear, thrusting forward with his spear, followed by the two behind him.
Edstrom was quick to act, producing knives from underneath her clothes. The knives were connected together by a thin silver thread, and she sprung into action before Malmvist could react.
She leaped into the air, flipping over the first knight and using the thin steel like thread, and wrapped it around his neck before landing and slicing the man's head off with sight pull.
She ignored the body as it hit the floor and expertly dodged a sword swing from her side by sliding under the knight, before standing up and piercing the back of his skull with one of her knives, she then side stepped dodging the spear from the third knight and then simply got close to him and slit open his throat, severing his oesophagus.
Blood flowed out of the dead bodies of the knights like a river, they barely had time to contemplate their lives as they died, to her hands, and not an ounce of regret showed on her face.
Her actions were quick and precise, with the smooth flowing movements of a dancer.
Unfortunately, she was not given time to breathe as more knights arrived, this time five in number, but rather than panic, a small smirk graced her lips as she enjoyed the slaughter.
Her moniker, the dancing scimitar, was not just for show. Her knife pierced the throat of a knight and tore it open viciously before she spun around dodging an attack from the side and using the momentum from her spin to pierce through the armour of another knight, her blade cutting through the armour and piercing the chest.
She ducked low, dodging three spear thrusts from the sides and back before she spun, doing a sweeping kick and forcing her foes on the floor before throwing her blades up and pulling them back down with the thread and piercing through the throats of each of the knights laid on their backs.
The hallway was cleared of any foes, and she was barely out of breath. She could hear the distant footsteps of more knights rushing towards their direction.
She felt a euphoric sense of satisfaction, Her sadistic nature had been tickled, and she wanted more. She hadn't realised that she had been so restricted these past few months.
"Magnificent work, Edstrom!"
Renner praised the show her servant had put on, it was quite the sight to see, it was like watching an expert dancer perform, with only the sounds of blades slicing through flesh and dead bodies hitting the floor.
"Thank you M'lady"
The killer maid took a bow, her blood-stained clothes creating a twisted image that contrasted greatly to the idea of what a maid should look like.
After having given her thanks to the princess, Edstrom felt an anger bubble from within the pits of her heart as the realisation that this bitch before her was her enemy.
The man that made her submit was not here, this was her chance to get her freedom back and get revenge on that man by killing his beloved princess.
A smirk appeared on her face as she slowly rose from her bowed position, she gripped her blades preparing to strike, however she stopped before she could continue, her body froze and her heart drummed faster inside her chest.
The image of Arthur's figure flashed in head, she remembered his menacing aura and Incredible power. His menacing figure was refreshed in her mind, and sweat formed on her forehead, her hands began to tremble slightly and she gulped.
The realisation dawned on her, If she does kill Renner, is she confident she can run the risk of always having such an enemy after her? Does she truly believe she can hide long enough from him to properly enjoy her life?
Questions piled in her head, it also didn't help that Arthur now was the one who controlled the Goldilocks organisation, the new name for Eight fingers, which spans across the entire kingdom with a large information network spanning past the borders of the kingdom.
By all accounts it was not worth the risk, plus Arthur was powerful, she was certain even without a whole organisation behind him, he'd still find her one way or another. That was a risk she did think she wanted to take.
"Is something the matter?"
"Nothing M'lady"
She answered as she stood straight and turned to walk ahead. She still valued her life and would rather enjoy it instead of having to be constantly in fear of an enemy she can never defeat.
Renner couldn't help but find her servant's behaviour odd, although the thought of her being not completely safe with these individuals never left her mind, she hoped that she would meet up with Lakyus before any of her current companions got any ideas.
It also didn't help that she missed Arthur for more than just safety reasons.

A/N: "Todo and Yuji how we came for the get back, put paws on that boy like Ip man"
Thoughts on the chapter? I felt like Edstrom needed some characterization. What do you think
