Chapter 240: Journey to the West: Calamity Ends, Humanity Prosperes

Tiandao Buddhism was quickly suppressed by Humane Buddhism with a devastating momentum. Faced with such a result, no one was surprised.

The Tathagata has a strong past. He has been practicing for many years and is able to dominate the crowd. Otherwise, he would not be able to sit on the Golden Lotus Platform without anyone shaking his position.

After all the heavenly Buddhas were suppressed, the humane Buddhas worked together to rebuild the Great Leiyin Temple and restore its former glory in a very short period of time.

The Bodhisattva and Buddha's thrones that were previously missing due to the Buddhas in the heavenly realm were completely filled up and completed by the Tathagata with the Buddhas in the human realm.

The Buddhas of the Heavenly Dao have some considerations in how they deal with it, but the leaders will definitely not let it go.

Daleiyin Temple recovered, and Sun Wukong also came from Nandanbu Prefecture.

He had been suppressed deep underground by Zhang Bairen and knew nothing about the outside world. He was only told to continue to complete the scripture study after he woke up.

He didn't ask about Patriarch Bodhi, but he had a rough guess. Although he was sad in his heart, he was helpless.

"Master." Sun Wukong stepped forward to salute, then looked at Zhu Bajie and Sha Seng, and said with a smile, "Two junior brothers, long time no see."

"Brother Monkey." Sha Seng spoke first.

Zhu Bajie glanced at Sun Wukong, hugged the general's belly, flicked the wide sleeves of the black monk's clothes, and said: "You really don't care about what we two have done before?"

"It's annoying, but you also listened to Haotian. Now that he is dead, who do you listen to?" Sun Wukong said nonchalantly, then changed and put on the animal skin skirt.

"Of course I listen to the master, but do I listen to this monkey?" Zhu Bajie retorted and ran to Tang Sanzang for shelter.

"You idiot, if it weren't for me and my master to protect you on this road, your pork would have been fried and eaten by those heartless boys." Sun Wukong pretended to fight.

Tang Sanzang said with a smile: "The past is like the wind, let it go. Our journey of learning is not over yet. We can support each other in the future without any selfish motives."

The three of them looked at each other, stood in a row, clasped their fists and bowed towards Tang Sanzang, saying: "I sincerely follow my master's teachings."

Before he finished speaking, Monkey King raised his fist, and Zhu Bajie ran away again. When he reached a distance, he saw Monkey King just scratching the back of his head.

"You monkey, I'll make you into a hericium sooner or later!" Zhu Bajie cursed and jumped around.

Sun Wukong sneered, rolled up his sleeves, revealing the golden monkey hair on his arms, and smiled: "Idiot, I have eaten everything in my life, but I have never eaten pork. If you can, don't run away!"

With a swish, Sun Wukong chased after him like a beam of light. Zhu Bajie reacted, turned around and ran away, but Sun Wukong was already thousands of miles away, how could he escape?

After catching Zhu Bajie, Sun Wukong grabbed his big ears and cursed.

"Tang Sanzang, Sun Wukong, Zhu Wuneng, and Sha Wujing, quickly enter the Great Leiyin Temple and receive the scriptures!"

The voice of the Tathagata came from the Great Leiyin Temple. It was magnificent and vast, chanting the sound of the Buddha, resounding throughout the heavens and the world, like thunder piercing the ears.

Hearing this, Zhu Bajie and Sun Wukong stopped fighting and followed Tang Sanzang obediently, stepped onto the golden steps in front of them, and entered the Great Leiyin Temple.

When they entered the Great Leiyin Temple again, the brocade cassocks bloomed with warm light, and the three Sun Wukongs also had Buddhist robes appearing on their bodies. There were white hairs between their eyebrows, and the gentle Buddha light bloomed all over their bodies.

When the four people came to pay homage to the Tathagata, thousands of Taoist Buddhas came out one after another on both sides, each holding countless scriptures in their hands.

The Tathagata looked at Tang Sanzang and said: "This time I went through ninety-nine and eighty-one difficulties in my journey to the West. Along the way, you, the master and the disciples, killed demons and helped the common people. You should be imitated by Buddhism and Taoism."

"This is what a disciple should do." Tang Sanzang said respectfully.

"There are thirty-five scriptures here, totaling 15,144 volumes, including 400 volumes of the Nirvana Sutra, 360 volumes of the Bodhisattva Sutra, and 20 volumes of the Void Storehouse Sutra. "The First Surangama Sutra" has thirty volumes, and "The Mahaprajna Sutra" has six hundred volumes."

The Tathagata said all the names of the scriptures, and as the scriptures were read out one after another, the strong Buddhist man holding the scroll of scriptures would come forward and put the scriptures smoothly into the monk's hand. of the burden.

This burden contains the universe and can hold all things in the world. After holding the scriptures, it is bathed in the Buddha's light, dazzling and dazzling, as if it is turning into a Buddhist treasure.

After receiving the scriptures, the four masters and disciples thanked the Tathagata.

The Tathagata said: "Tang Sanzang, you devoted your whole heart to the Buddha and obtained the true scriptures, which was very fruitful. You are the Buddha of Sandalwood Merit."

Tang Sanzang stepped forward to receive the title, and his merits were added to his body. The golden light lasted forever, making him appear extremely sacred and peaceful.

"Sun Wukong." Tathagata said again.

Sun Wukong chuckled and stepped forward to greet him: "I have seen Tathagata."

"You like to punish evil and promote good, and you have made great achievements in defeating demons and monsters on the way. From beginning to end, you have defeated the Buddha in battle." Tathagata said.

Sun Wukong saluted and thanked him, and with the Buddha's light around him, he stood up and hid behind Tang San.

Then, Tathagata looked at Zhu Bajie and Sha Seng, one of whom was named the Messenger of the Pure Altar, and the other was named the Golden Arhat.

When Zhu Bajie heard that he had not become a Buddha, he felt depressed, but when he thought of his previous position, he simply suppressed all his thoughts and thanked Sha Monk for his kindness.

Immediately afterwards, Xiao Bailong was awarded the title of Eight Heavenly Dragon Horses because he carried Tang Sanzang to fetch Buddhist scriptures and returned to the east carrying Buddhist scriptures.

Everyone thanked him again and returned to Tang Township with humane Buddhist scriptures.

The auspicious clouds passed over the Nanzhan tribe, attracting the attention of all tribes. They knew that this calamity was about to end. Although those scriptures were supreme, they were also humane scriptures, and no one dared to take action easily.

Furthermore, there are more protectors on the road back home than the monsters that Tang Sanzang went through in ninety-nine and eighty-one hardships. Kongtong looks out, Kunlun protects the road, dragons spy, and the west opens the way. Although they are all in darkness, they It was also terrifying.

Not to mention how powerful this group of forces is together, even one of them is enough to stir up the storm and cause shock in the world.

In the Tang Dynasty, the four masters and disciples of Tang Sanzang met the Tang Emperor Li Shimin. They gave lectures and spread the profound meanings of the scriptures. At this point, the Journey to the West ended and humane Buddhism flourished.

Humanity flourishes. The overall situation is decided!

There is no point in continuing the battle between humanity and heaven, and it is gradually coming to an end.

In the chaos of the void, the battle between the Five Saints of Humanity and the Five Saints of Heaven also ended.

They slapped each other one last time and retreated to a safe place, looking at each other from a distance, their aura still terrifying.

For the Ten Saints, this fight is not a life and death battle. They just want to hold the other side down, but they also make the other side realize how powerful they are.

At the end of the battle, Zhen Yuanzi looked at Yuanshi Tianzun, spread out his fly whisk, annihilating the holy power around him, and teased: "The saint of the way of heaven is really powerful."

Faced with what Zhen Yuanzi said, Yuanshi Tianzun rolled his sleeves and snorted coldly, turned around and walked into the void, returning to his dojo.

The expressions of Zhunti and Jie Yin were the ugliest. During this trip, Tiandao Buddhism not only did not suppress Humanity Buddhism, but both good and evil corpses were beheaded, and their troops were lost.

The five saints of heaven and earth left one after another, and the five saints of humanity no longer stopped and returned to their respective dojos.
