Pokemon: Radical Redux

Ash, Gary, Green, Misty, and Otoshi stood on a platform in that order, there was a battle between Green, Misty, and Otosh that happened during the Ash vs Gary fight, Misty scored over Otoshi but lower than Green, though it was mostly due to direct counters.

But that was unimportant, for now, the Elite 4 were standing on a platform, and over in a corner Surge was laughing in joy since Ash won.

"The S.S Anne tournament has come to an end, let's give our champions one final round of applause as we hand out their prizes."

The crowd gave a respectful applause as a stroller with 5 incubators and a few items appeared.

"Along with a monetary reward that has already been handed out to each contestant these eggs have been specially prepared for each of the winners and the Elite 4 have selected who will receive each one, with the exception of our champion, who will receive one directly from champion Lance."

As the announcer said that a cute girl stepped forward and handed Ash a light blue Egg and a Dragon Fang, just from the color he had an Idea of what it was.

Meanwhile, Tempest was the first to step up, "I would have preferred to give this to our champion but I guess I'll settle with you and take good care of the little one," she said with no filter, and Gary looked like he received physical pain from that, the egg was Yellow with black stripes.

Damian went next and stood in front of Green and handed her a purple egg and a Spell Tag, "This one is special, be careful with him."

Lorelei stepped forward next and stood in front of Misty with a blue egg and a Mystic Water, "You remind me a lot of myself, this little one should help you, they certainly helped me," Misty took way too long to take the egg and even more to even mutter out any words.

But she couldn't since Darwin who was still sour stepped up and handed Otoshi a purple polka dot egg, said nothing, and walked away.

"And that concludes the tournament, we will still be at sea for 2 more days. You can socialize or battle the fields will be open for anyone now, but as of now enjoy our cruze there is nothing that could ruin this moment" the audience cheered in agreement.

In the control deck the captain was rushing over to the radio trying to get into contact with anyone before it was too late, he picked up the phone and started dialing numbers until his arms were bound by some webs.

Looking back there stood a young man with Green hair and Green eyes next to him was a Ariados who was holding the web that was binding his arms.

"Now now Captain we can't have that now can we," Proton said walking forward, taking the radio from the captain's hands, and dropping it to the floor, "This ship is now under our control so we can't have you ruining our fun," he said before stomping down and breaking the radio.

"W-why are you doing this, you know the elite 4 are here," The captain said, slightly shivering looking at the spider holding him.

"Why, that's a good question, why would a Team Rocket take over a ship, but what you should be asking is why we are doing it now, I'm sure you've already guessed we have been here the whole time, so why now."

The Captain looked through for a moment before his eyes widened, "Y-you wanted all this, you knew."

"Seems like you're not stupid, shame thing might have been better for you if you were," Proton said snapping his fingers and a Weezing came from the shadows and shot green smoke into the captain's face, knocking him out with the foul stench, they still needed him alive after all.

Proton signaled for his spider to wrap the captain up and pressed onto a communicator in his ear, "The captain has been secured the ship is officially under our control, initiate order 3909-04."

Ash was just waiting for things to go downhill, he didn't know what they would do and he didn't know when it would happen, he just knew that it would happen after the rewards were given and that just happened.

Ash was snapped out of his thoughts by the sound of a voice, "Hey Ash are you ok, Aaaash," clearing his eyes he saw everyone again since he sat down at a table with everyone, Yellow snapped him out of his thoughts.

"Yeah I'm fine I was just thinking um what's in the egg," Ash made up an excuse.

"Yeah, I still can't believe Ms. Lorelei handed me a Pokemon herself. I can't wait to see what it is," Misty said as she took the egg out of the incubator and was holding it close.

"I mean…" Gary said, pulling out his Pokedex, "We can check pretty easily."

"Yeah but where's the fun in that," Green pushed his Pokedex back down.

"I'd just be happy with an egg, I wish I got one too. It really would have helped," Brock said looking at Misty hugging her egg.

"Brock," Ash said putting his hand on Brock's shoulder, "I will get you an egg, I can't promise when and I certainly can't promise you what it will be, but I will give you one,"

Brock looked touched and looked like he was going to say something until the Elite 4 minus Darwin* walked over to their table.

"Hey, hey mind if we sit with you," Tempest said less as a question and more as a suggestion.

"Sure-" Brock was cut off when Tempest already sat down and somehow had Pikachu in her arms.

Lorelei and Damian also sat down, "Sorry about her she is overly hyper most of the time"

"It's fine so why did you want to sit with us?" Ash asked everyone at the table to look over at them.

"Why wouldn't we ⅘ of the winners are sitting at one table, one of them was personally sponsored by Surge to go on this cruise, you tell me," Lorelei said in a teasing voice, and Misty was Fangirling.

"But in all seriousness, we wanted to ask you all something, what is-" Before the question could be said everything was interrupted.

Static began to form the big screen from before, making a lot of people cover their ears, and they heard laughter on the intercoms.

People looked around and a few were asking, "Is this part of the Cruise?"

On the screen a man appeared, it was Proton, and next to him was the captain, "We will now accept your surrender, this ship is now under our control."

Most People didn't recognize him but they did recognize his uniform, Team Rocket.

Proton's uniform was very similar to the standard black grunt uniform, but with white gloves and boots a belt around his waist, and the standard grunt cap, most people just believed he was a grunt.

Over on one side of the ship, Surge frowned saw what was happening, and started trying to make his way to everyone, Janine saw him and followed.

"Now we don't want that now don't we," Proton said snapping his finger then suddenly about half of the staff ripped off what they were wearing and showed they had Team Rocket uniforms Underneath.

"It seems you don't know the situation you are in. You have lost, we have taken over this ship and cut communications with the mainland" Proton said in a mocking tone.

Meanwhile, as this was going on an old man on the counter of the ship holding a cane pushed a button, and a signal was sent out.

"Yes now prepare for trouble," A familiar voice sounded out Jessie

"And make it double" A second from the other side, James

"So here's a newsflash from across the sea," a third said, Cassidy

"The real Team Rocket is here don't you agree," a fourth said, Butch.

"Meowth that's right," Meowth jumped up before all 4 of them kicked him to the side.

"Anyway," Jessie said looking towards everyone, "You are all now our hostages."

"You can surrender your Pokemon now willingly or try to pointlessly resist," Butch said stepping forward.

"But either way you will all surrender eventually and maybe you will be able to leave after," Cassidy said jokingly.

"So what will it be," James spoke up, holding a rose.

The crowd stayed silent before all hell broke loose and people started panicking.

"Well that's our answer then," James said looking back to the team of 4, (+ Meowth)

"Then I guess we should go ahead and-"

"Electivire Thunder punch!" Surge's voice rang out as a big Electivire came running forward aiming to punch the grunts.

An explosion happened and suddenly in front of them blocking the punch was an equally large Tyranitar, and from the side, the bodyguard ripped off his uniform revealing an admin uniform.

"Your battle is with me Old man," Cliff said walking forward to meet Surge.

"Who are you calling old, you're older than me!" Surge Yelled over.

"Who are you calling old Grandpa!" Cliff immediately yelled back as both Pokemon started Clashing.

Janine was behind Surge and released her Ariados to help Surge when suddenly a fast red blur went forward and Blocked the Spider, from the side the DJ walked forward and Put on a Team Rocket Hoodie revealing Arlo.

"Sorry girly but I'm your challenge right now," Arlo said with a smirk as his Scizor punched Ariados with its claws.

In the private room, Darwin walked out of the room and had an evil smile, "Good I was looking for something to blow off some steam." Darwin released his Nidoking and sent him to attack some of the grunts when a voice on the side spoke up.

"Well if that's the case maybe I'll suffice," a woman on the side took off the sailor costume and revealed her white jumpsuit, Sierra walked forward and released her Houndoom.

Darwin scoffed, "At best you're an admin, do you really think you can beat someone from the elite 4."

"Your right I couldn't beat you, too bad you only have one Pokemon don't you, so I think I'll take my chances, after all, I am the strongest of the Admins."

Darwin snapped his tongue, "Please my Nidoking is more than enough for you and your dog, and don't call this unfair after all you're the strongest Admin." Darwin said mockingly.

"Maybe but unlike you, I have more than one," Sierra said, reaching to grab the 2 other Pokeballs on her waist, releasing a Marowak and Victreebel, "And don't call this unfair, you are part of the Elite 4."

Back at the table with everyone, they put the Eggs away and were staring down the grunts that were infiltrating the Ship.

Lorelei was the first to speak up, "We need to get to the Helm and stop Team Rocket!"

"We also need to make sure they don't tamper with the engine and get the passengers to safety," Damian said looking at the Chaos.

"I'll go to the engine, Ms. Lorelei, you should go after the Helm," Damian said, looking at his senior.

"Right, then Tempest that leaves you to evacuate and protect as many people as you can," Lorelei said as Tempest gave a salute still holding onto Pikachu.

"I'll go wi- I mean, Ms. Lorelei If you allow it let me go with you, with our combined girl power we should be able to stop anyone there," Misty said, trying to keep her composed.

"I'll go too," Green said, but in her mind, she was just wondering if she could find something hidden in the Captain's quarters.

"Yes, that is a good idea we should split into teams, and since you all have proved yourselves to be excellent trainers, are you willing to help out?" Lorelei said, turning to everyone.

"Of course, if it is at your request I'll bring down the moon for- ga," Brock said on a knee before Misty pulled on his ear more violently than usual.

"Right I'll go with Damian to the engine, the rest of you should help the civilians," Ash said, looking at Brock, Gary, and Yellow.

Gary held back something and instead said, "Fine, but I'm doing this on my terms."

Brock and Yellow looked more worried for Ash since unlike Misty it would only be him and Damian.

"We don't have time to argue about this, Damian is a member of the Elite 4 I'll be fine so don't worry It's more important to stop whatever Team Rocket is planning." Ash saw their hesitation and that snapped them out of it and gave a nod.

"Alright, when we get up there we'll see if we can contact the Police, keep a lookout for any jammer that may be blocking the signal." Lorelei ran with Misty and Green following.

Tempest looked at Ash, "Can I keep Pikachu for this? I'm sure he'll help evacuate scared children." Tempest said, but she just wanted to hug the small mouse.

Ash looked down at Pikachu who was starting to get used to it as he gave a ¯\_(ツ)_/¯.

So Ash looked at Yellow, "Yellow if anything happens Pikachu will listen to you, so stay safe."

Yellow looked slightly flustered, "R-right you too."

Ash nodded as he and Daminal started running to the lower Decks and Tempest Grabbed Yellow's hand and took her with her.

Meanwhile, Gary and Brock looked at each other and both shrugged and went separate ways.

As Ash was running with Damian, Damian asked something, "So how long are you going to keep that cast on?"

Ash gave Damian a look with his eyebrow raised, "You knew?" to be honest Ash's arm healed yesterday, he kept the cast on since it had been such a short time since he was pumping Aura into his arm to speed up the healing, if anyone knew they would get suspicious.

"It was kinda obvious after I saw those movements in your arm," Damian said.

"So you can see it, I had my suspicions after I first saw you. Well to answer your question I am going to probably take it off soon, the element of surprise from a guy with a broken arm was kinda destroyed after I won."

Damian nodded as they approached some grunts blocking their way, Damian didn't stop as his shadow extended and 2 shadow balls were sent at them knocking them out.

"Neat trick was that you or your Gengar," Ash said, making Damian surprised this time.

"I guess you know more than your letting on, it was Gengar, Ghost types usually make a domain in their trainers' shadows though I would be curious how one would in yours."

"Maybe I'll get one later and show you but we need to get going, the others should be at the door to the Helm by now."

They continued running meanwhile above deck Jessie, James, Cassidy, and Butch saw Ash run down.

"Seems like the twerp is going downstairs," Jessie said.

"Perfect, we'll ambush him and take his Pokemon," Cassidy said.

"And we'll do it in style," James said holding a Pokeball, and the 4 laughed, meanwhile Meowth in the corner got back up and grumbled.
