[Zeus POV]
Adam was gradually pressing me out of my center, his attacks were very well coordinated and at the same time lacked any pattern, and to top it off, his power was now equal to mine, this made no sense, how a newly ascended god could reach such a level in such a short period of time. His entire demeanor seemed different, almost as if I was facing an entirely different person. His aura was calm, and yet full of sorrow, none of this made any sense.
Him a mere child, matching me? The supreme ruler of the cosmos? It was laughable, it was unbelievable, and most of all, it was infuriating, I was supposed to be unmatched, undefeated, unreachable for everyone in all of creation, the one and only worthy to rule and be obeyed, and here I was… matched by a child whose power comes from what it seems to be an attitude change? I refused to believe that! I was Zeus!
"This was a long time coming Zeus, you knew that… and so did I," Adam commented, punching me on the face with a mana construct, "You reap what you sow,"

[Hades POV]
Zeus was the youngest of us all, the son of the Titan Cronus and Titaness Rhea. When he was born, father intended to swallow him, as he had done with us. But Rhea, our mother, hid him in a cave on Mount Dicte in Crete. He was saved, we were not, not that we blamed mother, she was not to blame, because all of this started because Cronus, the king of the world at the time, was scared upon learning that one of his children was fated to dethrone him, like he had done with his father before him, so in fear, he swallowed his children as soon as they were born all because of a prophecy.
Zeus for a time, was a good king, I know it sounds… far fetched but my little brother was once a noble, honest and fair individual, he even was faithful to Hera for a long time, but like humans say… absolute power… corrupts absolutely, and with time, his noble goals and attitude changed, his attitude turning more and more grotesque, as he little by little started to push everyone out, and how could he not? His mind had lost any sense of empathy as he started to see himself as the one and only with the right to do and undo the cosmos to his liking, destroying gods and humans alike, for no apparent reason.
I suppose only criticizing him is not healthy because in one way or another, we all changed, all except for Hestia, she one among us who remained the same over eons, unchanged and unfaced by what the world threw at her, she was always the best of us, Zeus knew that, I knew that… we all knew that, we simply decided to ignore it, but deep down we all knew she was the only one worthy of ruling Olympus. Then Adam appeared, he was so similar to Hestia in so many ways, and for a brief moment I was… hopeful, but even Adam, the kid I considered one my very first friend in a millennia, showed… he was not fit to rule.
Power changed him, and while this wasn't necessarily something bad, it showed no matter how good you are… power corrupts and morphs your soul, unless you are Hestia, the funny thing is, I knew no matter how different the kid was, that he didn't want any of this, he didn't want to rule, or fight this war… he was, no matter how strong and composed he presented himself, a kid… one that wanted to cry and curse the world for all the shit it was giving him, but the circumstances around him forced him to show no weakness, which is why I knew with certainty, that the moment he won this war, he was going to give Hestia the throne.
This was something he had not declared or spoke about, but it was obvious he would not be king for long, he was a free soul, that craved absolute freedom, since the moment I saw him… from human to god, all he had ever wanted, was to be free, and there is nothing more shackling than a Throne, I doubt even Hestia knows about this, or perhaps she does to a certain level, she has to… Adam can't never truly hide anything from her, for he sees her like I see my Persephone, with undying love.
"He is fighting father on an equal ground," Persephone mouthed, shocked at the development her eyes were seeing through the Hell Orb.
"He has risen to a level only a few can match," I nodded, "He is now the only one that can kick Zeus out of his throne,"
"M'lord!" Thanatos appeared in front of me, "Poseidon is moving his army to Olympus… he aims to assist Zeus in combat," why was Poseidon helping Zeus of all people, forget about reasons… I have to stop him.
"I will deal with him, summon all the gods under my realm… today Adam battles the skies, and we battle the ocean," I declared, teleporting out of my realm to command my forces, leaving my Queen to defend our realm.

[Poseidon POV]
I hated Zeus, that was no secret at all, but if I had to choose between him and a brat I knew nothing about, I would rather choose my brother, at least, for now, a kid with no sense of ruling was not worthy of having my trident under his service, at least with Zeus I knew what to expect, he was a known evil… but Adam? In the short time of his campaign he had done more damage to Olympus than I had ever anticipated, his actions, while justified, were at times irrational and unfit for one to be a king, he had no pattern, no predictability. Was he better than Zeus? Possibly. But for how long? How long before the power he had so rapidly acquired corrupted him? How long before we had an even stronger tyrant above our heads.
"Brother," Hades greeted, and by the looks of his attire, he was ready to fight, on his hand, he had a blade that vibrated with unholy power, "I must politely beg you, to stand down,"
I eyed my older brother for a second, perhaps letting things play out would be the best, Percy seemed to like Adam, but Percy knew nothing of the world, if Adam ended like Zeus, there would be no stopping him, "I must decline Hades, I have to deal with this… the only way I know," I declared.
"He is stronger than us now, what do you plan to accomplish?" Hades mocked, "Zeus and Adam are above our level, why even try?"
"We have helped Zeus before, I will do the same this time," I declared pointing my trident at him, "Don't make me fight you,"
"I am doing nothing, you are the one going against the tides… brother," Hades chuckled, summoning his helmet, "Let's fight for old time sakes,"
