Peach Blossom Dual Cultivation

Chapter 35: Will You Be My Woman?

“Senior Brother, you’re no match for him,” Ivanova said, though the others in the Arctic Judo Gym laughed. Zhou Lang had managed to leave a footprint on the concrete with just one kick, a testament to his incredible strength. It was clear that Krylov could not possibly be a match for Zhou Lang.

“Then I must test him myself. I want to see what makes this invincible warrior you’ve chosen so special that he’s won your heart,” Krylov sneered before launching himself at Zhou Lang.

Krylov truly lived up to his role as the head of the judo gym; he moved like a Siberian wolf, fierce and fast. Most people would have been terrified into submission just by facing him.

Zhou Lang calmly stepped forward from beside Ivanova. Just as Krylov was about to grab him, Zhou Lang slightly turned his body and used his shoulder to bump into Krylov.

Krylov’s massive body was instantly sent flying, hurtling four or five meters through the air before crashing to the ground.

Fortunately, Zhou Lang hadn’t used full force. He had employed a controlled technique, so apart from a sore backside, Krylov wasn’t seriously injured.

However, this move from Zhou Lang had already shocked many onlookers. No one had expected Krylov to be sent flying with a single move from Zhou Lang. Even Ivanova was stunned, for Krylov was a renowned warrior in Russia, a top judo master in the country.

“Everyone, attack together! My junior sister is mine; I’ll protect her for life. I can’t let her be taken by this man!”

Krylov roared defiantly as he stood up.

At his command, more than a dozen Russian men immediately surrounded Zhou Lang and Ivanova.

“If I defeat all of you, will you promise to stop pursuing your junior sister?” Zhou Lang asked calmly, unaffected by the encirclement, while Ivanova looked on in alarm.

“If you can defeat all fifteen of us, then you truly are an invincible warrior. If you can’t, then you’re not worthy of my junior sister,” Krylov hesitated briefly before replying.

“Let’s make a bet then. All of you can come to me together. If I lose, I’ll never see your junior sister again. But if I win, you must promise not to harass her anymore. Let her choose who she wants to be with and marry,” Zhou Lang said slowly.

“Agreed. We Russian men are men of honor; our word is our bond,” Krylov said without hesitation.

“You should step aside,” Zhou Lang said to Ivanova, exuding confidence.

“Be careful,” Ivanova said tenderly to Zhou Lang, seeing his absolute confidence. After hesitating for a moment, she stepped out of the circle, knowing how deeply Krylov was infatuated with her. If Zhou Lang couldn’t defeat all her senior brothers, Krylov would never truly let her go.

“Come at me together,” Zhou Lang said coolly to Krylov and the others once Ivanova was out of the circle.

“Attack!”

Krylov shouted in Russian as he charged at Zhou Lang.

The dozen or so Russian men, all judo instructors at the gym, surged forward with a powerful momentum. To Ivanova, watching from the sidelines, her senior brothers looked like a pack of fierce Siberian tigers, eager to tear Zhou Lang apart.

Ivanova couldn’t help but worry for Zhou Lang. Even though she had witnessed his martial prowess and knew he was a true master, she still couldn’t imagine anyone being able to defeat over a dozen seasoned judo black belts. After all, no matter how strong Zhou Lang was, if he got caught by her senior brothers, he would be at their mercy, unable to escape a beating.

But in the next instant, she was dumbfounded.

She saw Zhou Lang suddenly rise into the air, hovering above the ground like an immortal.

Of course, this wasn’t a true flight. With his cultivation at the Qi Refining stage, Zhou Lang could only stay airborne for a few seconds, far from being able to fly on the wind or ride a sword. But to someone like Krylov, this was already an awe-inspiring display.

Krylov and the others, who had been preparing to launch a coordinated attack, were thrown into disarray when they saw their target floating in the air. The scene before them was beyond their comprehension.

As Krylov and his men stood there in shock, Zhou Lang suddenly dove down from above.

In an instant, his legs moved like a whirlwind, and almost simultaneously, Krylov and the others felt a powerful kick land on their shoulders. They were all sent flying, crashing to the ground like a hailstorm.

“You… You’re an Eastern cultivator?”

Krylov stammered as he got up from the ground, his voice trembling.

The fierce courage that had filled his eyes earlier was gone, replaced by shock and fear. The other Russian men were also completely subdued by Zhou Lang’s display, none of them daring to take another step forward. They stood frozen in place.

Zhou Lang had shown off his abilities precisely to intimidate Krylov and the others, making them believe he was invincible. This way, they wouldn’t continue to harass him in the future. Seeing that his goal had been achieved, Zhou Lang said calmly, “I didn’t expect you to have some knowledge.”

“Master Zhou, I’ve offended you earlier. If you wish to punish someone, let it be me alone. It was my affection for my junior sister that led me to foolishly attack you. My junior brothers had nothing to do with it,” Krylov said, standing up with fearful respect.

If Zhou Lang were merely a martial artist, Krylov would still have the will to fight. But now that he knew Zhou Lang was a cultivator, his courage had completely evaporated. After all, the legendary Eastern cultivators could control flying swords and kill their enemies from thousands of miles away—such a person was beyond his ability to contend with.

“You are Ivanova’s senior brother; how could I hold a grudge over something so trivial? Just make sure you don’t trouble your junior sister in the future. Also, please keep what happened tonight a secret. I prefer to keep a low profile and don’t want people to know that I’m a cultivator.”

Zhou Lang saw that Krylov still understood the importance of respect and didn’t intend to make things difficult for him.

“I won’t… I won’t ever do it again. We won’t speak of tonight’s events to anyone. Please rest assured, Master Zhou,” Krylov nodded repeatedly.

In the past, Krylov believed that Ivanova should marry him because he saw himself as the strongest warrior, the only one worthy of protecting her. But compared to Zhou Lang, his martial skills were insignificant.

In Krylov’s eyes, cultivators possessed unimaginable powers. Offending such a person would only lead to certain death. Earlier, he had feared that Zhou Lang might kill them all to silence them, which is why he pleaded for mercy.

When the others heard Zhou Lang’s words, they finally felt relieved.

At that moment, Ivanova walked over to Zhou Lang’s side. Krylov, full of regret, said, “Junior Sister, your wish has come true. You’ve found an invincible warrior. I feel deeply ashamed of my previous actions.”

His words signified that he was acknowledging Ivanova’s relationship with Zhou Lang.

“Senior Brother, don’t say that. I know you’ve always treated me well. You came from Russia to China for me, managing the judo gym on my behalf. I’ve always kept that in my heart. We may not be suitable for each other, but you are like a brother to me. I won’t leave you all. I’ll continue living at the gym, and we’ll always be a family,” Ivanova said emotionally.

“Yes, we’re a family, always together,” Krylov and the others said, their eyes moist with emotion.

Zhou Lang, witnessing this, felt happy for Ivanova. Having such a group of senior brothers in life was indeed a blessing.

Later, Krylov and the others welcomed Zhou Lang into the judo gym. After a tour of the gym, Zhou Lang found himself in Ivanova’s bedroom.

Ivanova’s room was decorated with an exotic touch, evoking a very romantic atmosphere.

This time, Krylov and the others were tactful enough to quietly leave, giving Zhou Lang and Ivanova some privacy.

“Brother Lang, are you a cultivator?”

Ivanova asked excitedly.

“Yes,” Zhou Lang nodded.

“Aren’t cultivators supposed to be hidden away in caves in the mountains, cultivating in seclusion? Why are you out here working?”

Ivanova asked curiously.

“Right now, I’m a student at Dianxi University’s Medical School. Living in the mundane world is also a form of cultivation,” Zhou Lang said with a mysterious air.

“Brother Lang, you’re low-key,” Ivanova said, full of admiration.

“I should go now. See you tomorrow,” Zhou Lang said as he prepared to leave.

“Brother Lang, it’s so late. Why don’t you stay?”

Ivanova said, her eyes twinkling. In her eyes, Zhou Lang was an exceptional man, and only by truly becoming his woman could she keep his heart.

If Zhou Lang stayed, tonight he would surely transition from a boy to a man. Looking at the sexy Ivanova in front of him, Zhou Lang felt his heart race.

“Brother Lang, before you achieve the Golden Core stage, it’s best not to sleep with other women. Otherwise, it could severely impact your future cultivation progress, unless the woman knows the art of dual cultivation.”

But at that moment, a familiar voice sounded in his mind.

“Xiao Xi?”

Zhou Lang immediately recognized the voice as that of Xiao Xi, the spirit of his ancestral coin, reminding him. In this world, besides Xiao Xi, who else would know the art of dual cultivation?

“I think I should go back. If I stay here tonight, I’m afraid it might upset your senior brother,” Zhou Lang said to Ivanova, suppressing his earlier impulse after hearing Xiao Xi’s words.

“My senior brother should have come to terms with it by now,” Ivanova said, a bit shy, clearly hinting that she wanted Zhou Lang to stay.

“Let’s give him some time,” Zhou Lang replied. Since he had chosen the path of a cultivator, he knew he had to be diligent and couldn’t let momentary pleasures affect his cultivation.

“Brother Lang, do you not like me that much?”

Ivanova asked directly, sensing that Zhou Lang’s words didn’t fully align with his feelings. Although she admired him, her straightforward nature hadn’t changed.

“If I didn’t like you, I wouldn’t have brought you back, and I certainly wouldn’t have fought with your senior brother,” Zhou Lang said.

“Then why won’t you stay? I might be a little bold, but I’m not an indiscreet woman. I’m still a virgin,” Ivanova said, making it clear to Zhou Lang that he would be her first.

“Ivanova, I’m a cultivator, not an ordinary person. My lifespan could be hundreds or even thousands of years. In my lifetime, it’s unlikely that you’ll be the only woman I’m with. I’m afraid I’ll hurt you. I hope you’ll think it through carefully and decide if you want to be my woman,” Zhou Lang said after some thought.

Ivanova was momentarily stunned. She was a rather simple girl and hadn’t considered this issue before.

“I’ll be going now.”

With that, Zhou Lang stood up to leave. He was an honest man and preferred to say what needed to be said upfront, to avoid complications later when he might have more women, leading to chaos in his love life.
