Chapter 31: Get Out of Feiyun City
“Zhou Lang, don’t get cocky. I was just about to have someone chop you up. Li Mengxue is my woman. You’re messing with my business, and that’s a death wish!”
Li Qi cursed. He had tried twice to extort money from Li Mengxue, but both times Zhou Lang had interfered. Especially in the office, where he almost had his way with the beautiful Li Mengxue, but it turned into nothing more than a pipe dream. His hatred for Zhou Lang ran deep.
“Li Qi, you should be more concerned about whether you can still be a man. Do you think you can kill me?”
Zhou Lang sneered.
“Was it you who made me impotent?”
Li Qi asked in shock.
“It doesn’t matter who did it, but I can cure it,” Zhou Lang replied.
“Then what’s the purpose of this call?”
Li Qi asked after a pause.
“I’ll cure your impotence, but you have to get out of Feiyun City,” Zhou Lang said coldly. If Li Mengxue was to be safe from further trouble, the only solution was to chase Li Qi out of the city. Although Li Qi was beyond redemption, Zhou Lang couldn’t just kill him.
“Who do you think you are? What kind of bullshit is this?”
Li Qi cursed.
“Fine, then you can remain a eunuch. I’m hanging up now,” Zhou Lang threatened.
“Of course, if you want to come after me, you’re welcome to try. But next time, you’ll regret it even more.”
“Wait… wait!”
Li Qi quickly shouted.
“Have you made up your mind? If not, I’m hanging up,” Zhou Lang said.
“I agree,” Li Qi replied grudgingly.
“I’ll leave Feiyun City, but first, you need to cure me. Also, I need time to sell off some of my assets.”
“That’s fine. I’ll give you half a month to take care of everything, but during that time, you must not show up in front of Li Mengxue or cause her any trouble,” Zhou Lang said.
“Now, pick a place, and I’ll come to cure you.”
“Wait for my call,” Li Qi said before hanging up.
A few minutes later, Li Qi called back with the location for the meeting.
Zhou Lang left the apartment and took a taxi to Prince KTV.
About ten minutes later, Zhou Lang arrived and entered private room 13.
As he pushed the door open, he saw Li Qi sitting on the sofa, smoking.
“Zhou Lang, if you’re lying and can’t cure my impotence, I’ll chop you up,” Li Qi glared at Zhou Lang. In the underworld, guts mattered, and intimidation was key. However, Zhou Lang’s skills made him fearful. Even ten of him wouldn’t be a match for Zhou Lang.
“I’ll give you a chance if you think you have what it takes,” Zhou Lang sneered, showing no fear of Li Qi.
“Let’s fix my condition first,” Li Qi hesitated. He was wary of Zhou Lang’s capabilities and ultimately didn’t dare to act.
“Lie down.”
Zhou Lang walked over to Li Qi and ordered him. He knew that dealing with people like Li Qi required a cold, commanding demeanor. Otherwise, they wouldn’t be intimidated.
Li Qi complied and lay flat on the sofa.
“Close your eyes,” Zhou Lang ordered again.
“Why do I have to close my eyes?”
Li Qi grumbled.
“Why do you talk so much? Do as I say, or I’m leaving right now,” Zhou Lang said.
Li Qi was disgruntled but had no choice but to obey. He reluctantly closed his eyes.
Zhou Lang swiftly moved his fingers, pressing several acupoints on Li Qi’s abdomen. Then he said, “Rest for a few minutes, and you’ll be back to normal.”
“That was quick. You better not be lying to me,” Li Qi sat up on the sofa, opening his eyes in disbelief. He had gone to the best doctors at the city hospital, and none of them could help. Yet Zhou Lang had just pressed a few points on his body, claiming it was fixed.
“I don’t have time to waste on jokes. If you don’t believe me, find someone to test it out,” Zhou Lang said.
“And if you’re cured, don’t forget what you promised.”
“I remember,” Li Qi said before quickly leaving the room.
…
Li Qi rushed out, naturally to find a woman.
He was well-acquainted with the KTV’s owner, so getting a woman arranged was a simple matter. After all, this kind of KTV was full of so-called “private room hostesses.” As long as you had money, anything was possible.
After entering a small private room, Li Qi made a quick phone call. Within minutes, a young woman dressed provocatively walked in.
The woman was fairly attractive with a curvaceous and sexy figure, though her demeanor was heavy with the air of a seasoned escort, making her appear cheap and flirtatious. However, in such entertainment venues, women like her were quite popular. Many men were infatuated with them, spending their hard-earned money on them.
“Xiao Taohong, lock the door and come here quickly,” Li Qi ordered as soon as he saw the woman.
“Brother Qi, what brings you here today? Ever since you got together with Zhong Ke’er, you haven’t come to see me. I’ve missed you, but I didn’t want to ruin your good thing, so I didn’t dare call you,” the woman known as Xiao Taohong obediently locked the door and then swayed her hips as she walked over to Li Qi in an alluring manner, her voice dripping with sweetness.
“Don’t mention that bitch,” Li Qi snorted, standing up and grabbing Xiao Taohong, his hands roaming all over her.
“Brother Qi, don’t be so hasty. It’s like you haven’t had any for three months,” Xiao Taohong twisted her body, pushing away Li Qi’s wandering hands.
But she wasn’t rejecting Li Qi. As she twisted, her plump hips brushed against Li Qi’s body, using a teasing technique that made men even more excited.
Indeed, Li Qi’s heartbeat and breathing quickened instantly. He was responding!
“Looks like Zhou Lang wasn’t lying!”
Li Qi thought with joy and, without any further hesitation, pushed Xiao Taohong down onto the sofa.
“Brother Qi, please don’t!”
Xiao Taohong cried out coquettishly.
Rip!
But Xiao Taohong’s plea was met with Li Qi’s violent tearing. In an instant, he ripped her top apart.
After suppressing his desires all day, Li Qi finally erupted, fully restoring his manly vigor.
…
Half an hour later, after finishing his business, Li Qi moved to a large private room on another floor.
Inside the room were a dozen thuggish-looking men, all fully armed with sticks and clubs, as if they were about to start a gang fight.
The room was highly soundproof and given the distance from the room where Zhou Lang was, even someone as skilled as Zhou Lang wouldn’t be able to overhear them.
“Brother Qi, how did it go?” one of the burly men asked.
“That guy wasn’t lying. As soon as he treated me, I was back to normal. Just now, I had Xiao Taohong moaning and groaning,” Li Qi replied. He had just verified it himself—his body had indeed made a full recovery.
“So what are we waiting for? Let’s grab that guy,” the burly man suggested.
“You think the dozen of you can take him on?”
Li Qi countered.
His question silenced the others. Remembering their last encounter in the abandoned park, where Zhou Lang had thrown them around like ragdolls in less than ten seconds, still sent shivers down their spines. They knew that even if they tried to ambush Zhou Lang now, their chances of success were slim.
“Brother Qi, are we just going to let it go, then? Yesterday, we ended up with nothing but losses. If we don’t get our revenge…” another man, wearing glasses and looking rather sinister, spoke up. He was the type who preferred underhanded tactics and backstabbing.
“Of course, we’re not just letting it go. But that guy isn’t stupid. If he dared to come here today, he must be prepared. Attacking now wouldn’t be wise,” Li Qi said after a moment of thought.
“We should wait for him to lower his guard.”
“But that guy’s a monster. With just a few of us, no matter when or where we probably wouldn’t stand a chance,” the man with glasses said, worried.
“We’ll have to ask Brother Wei for help on this. Brother Wei has plenty of experts under his command. As the saying goes, even the best fighter can’t beat an overwhelming number of enemies. No matter how strong Zhou Lang is, he’ll be in our hands eventually,” Li Qi said. As the leader of this group, Li Qi wasn’t the type to act recklessly; he knew when to use his head.
“Brilliant thinking, Brother Qi. That way, it’ll be foolproof,” the man with glasses flattered.
…
After discussing their plan, Li Qi returned to the room where Zhou Lang was.
“I’ve done what I promised. Now, you need to leave Feiyun City as soon as possible,” Zhou Lang said as he stood up from the sofa the moment he saw Li Qi.
“Fine,” Li Qi nodded, though his eyes betrayed a flicker of hesitation.
Even though Zhou Lang had become powerful, he still lacked experience in dealing with such situations, so he didn’t take any further precautions. He believed that after giving Li Qi a lesson, Li Qi wouldn’t dare to cause trouble.
“Good. Let’s hope we don’t meet again,” Zhou Lang said, then left the room.
“Zhou Lang, enjoy your moment while it lasts. Soon, you’ll be crying without tears,” Li Qi muttered, his eyes filled with malice as he watched Zhou Lang’s back.
…
At six in the evening, Zhou Lang took a taxi to Li Mengxue’s villa to pick her up for work.
When they met, there was no awkwardness between them despite what had happened the previous night.
When they arrived at the bar, it had already opened, and there were quite a few customers.
Li Mengxue went straight to her office, while Zhou Lang, having nothing to do, wandered around the bar’s main hall.
“Zhou Lang, why haven’t you come to work for the last few days?” Ivanova, the foreign bartender with sharp eyes, spotted Zhou Lang as soon as he appeared. After Li Mengxue left, she waved him over.
Ivanova was an expert mixologist. As she spoke to Zhou Lang, she continued mixing drinks, performing various tricks that left people in awe. Because she was both sexy and skilled, Ivanova was always the center of attention whenever she was in the bar. No matter the time, men would gather around to watch her.
But Ivanova rarely spoke to anyone proactively. Zhou Lang was an exception, perhaps because he had correctly guessed that she wasn’t wearing underwear the last time, and they had danced closely in the changing room.
“I’m not a waiter anymore,” Zhou Lang said as he approached the bar. Ivanova was so sexy that every time he saw her, he couldn’t help but remember their intimate encounter in the changing room.
“Then why are you still coming to the bar, dressed so handsomely?” Ivanova asked curiously.
“I’m the boss’s bodyguard now. I just wander around the bar when there’s nothing to do,” Zhou Lang replied with a smile.
“Bodyguard?”
Ivanova looked him up and down, somewhat skeptically.
“Are you really that good at fighting?”
