CHAPTER 18 : Reboot (End Of Arc 2)

In the Fracture Room, Blue's inert body hangs suspended, a vessel awaiting the erasure of memories. The human fused woman gazes upon him with a sense of detachment, her voice tinged with finality. "Goodnight, Blue," she murmurs, before pressing the memory eraser button.

As the machine hums to life, Blue's memories begin to unravel, threads of his past slipping away into the void. Within his consciousness, a voice echoes—a fragment of familiarity amidst the chaos. "Blue, there's not enough time. They're erasing your memories," his mother's voice implores urgently.

Blue's confusion mounts as he struggles to comprehend the gravity of the situation. "Memories?" he repeats, his mind reeling from the onslaught of deletion.

His mother's voice persists, a beacon of guidance in the darkness. "Remember, you are the light, my child. Come and find me at the World Tree."

Suddenly, her form begins to glitch and warp, shifting erratically between that of his mother and the angelic figure. A fleeting glimpse of a goat with human legs flashes before his eyes, its gaze piercing through the haze of oblivion.

Then, nothingness envelops Blue's consciousness, his mind wiped blank by the relentless march of the memory eraser.

Outside of Blue's body, Omega stands watch, a stoic figure overseeing the transformation of his chosen successor. "Good, my successor," he declares, his tone brimming with satisfaction.

The focus shifts to Dorothy, seated nearby with an emotionless visage, devoid of humanity or empathy.
