Chapter 59: Chapter 59: My Beloved is The Best
Throne Hall, Great Underground Tomb of Nazarick.
"To think Sebas would actually betray us."
Demiurge muttered under his breath, standing to the left of Aurelius, who sat silently on the grand throne. His words were filled with disbelief, but his sharp features betrayed no weakness.
On the opposite side, Albedo stood at Aurelius's right, her lips curling into a sneer, and her voice dripped with venom as she spat out her disdain.
"Hmph! That wretched worm dares to hide things from his master, acting on his own and ignoring direct orders. He's begging to be slaughtered."
Had she been allowed to leave Nazarick, Sebas would've already been killed by her—over and over again. Unfortunately, Aurelius had forbidden her from stepping outside Nazarick for the time being.
In fact, she shouldn't even be here, as Aurelius had told her to rest. But as soon as she heard that Sebas had seemingly betrayed Nazarick, she rushed into the throne hall without hesitation.
Other than Albedo, Aurelius, and Demiurge, Cocytus and Shaltear were also present in the hall—kneeling before the throne and looking at the Mirror of Remote Viewing floating before them.
The mirror displayed the image of Sebas in the capital of the Re-Estize Kingdom, roaming around and still aiding the lowly humans he seemed so fond of.
Upon receiving Solution's report yesterday, Aurelius had briefed everyone present here on the situation, describing Sebas's deeds and his decision to give Sebas a chance to redeem himself.
But today, when another message came from Solution alongside the fresh footage of Sebas's actions recorded by her, Aurelius once again called the selected group of Floor Guardians to witness it for themselves.
"Look at him," suddenly Albedo spat, her golden eyes narrowing. "Instead of gathering intelligence as ordered, he's wasting time helping those lowly humans. This guy really doesn't care about orders at all, he has gone completely astray!"
"For a Guardian to act this way is nothing short of blasphemy!" Demiurge added.
Despite his composed words, a rare flicker of anger crossed his face as he spoke.
However, with a deep breath, Demiurge reined in his emotions, turning respectfully toward Aurelius. He bowed slightly and inquired.
"Aurelius-sama, how shall we proceed with Sebas now?"
As soon as Demiurge raised that question, all eyes shifted to Aurelius.
Slowly, Aurelius also turned his gaze from the Mirror. His face was impassive, but the faint crimson glow in his eyes made the Floor Guardians shudder, and they dared not meet his gaze for long—the weight of his stare was too much for them to bear.
"Didn't Sebas say everything is under his control? Since he says so, I will allow him to continue."
"But, Aurelius-Sama—"
Before Albedo could say what she wanted, Aurelius stopped her with a wave of his hand, and his words were final.
"Do not worry. Sebas will be punished. His punishment, however, will depend on how far he falls. Not only will I include his past actions, but I will also include his future actions. After all, shouldn't he know and bear the consequences of his actions? Or are we here to wipe his butt and tidy up his mess?"
"My lord, you mean..." Demiurge spoke cautiously, sensing the significance of Aurelius' words.
"Indeed, Demiurge. This isn't the end of Sebas's transgressions. I predict that Sebas's foolish mindset will soon lead him to cause even more trouble. He has been ordered to lay low and gather intelligence, yet despite already causing such a blunder, he will involve himself with even more humans. Helping them, teaching them, forming a team, drawing attention to himself, and inviting unnecessary trouble. He will soon even destroy a stronghold of Eight Fingers without consulting with anyone or reporting his actions."
Speaking until now, Aurelius paused, and his eyes scanned the hall, causing the floor guards to tense and almost swallow in nervousness.
No one present here dare doubt the authenticity of Aurelius's words, because not only did they have absolute trust in him, but they had also witnessed his brilliant foresight too many times to ever think otherwise.
But Aurelius ignored their reactions and turned his attention back to the mirror, where, as predicted, Sebas could be seen continuing to help those around him, eventually catching the attention of Climb and Brain Unglaus, who happened to be passing by.
When they confronted him and asked him to teach them, Sebas even went so far as to offer them advice.
Subsequently, everything unfolded as Aurelius had foreseen, aligning with the events of the original plot.
Sebas was soon targeted by assassins hired by Succulent, who had earlier threatened him. Following the lead of the assassins, Sebas headed to the brothel stronghold of the Eight Fingers, accompanied by Brain and Climb, who, driven by their sense of justice, joined him.
As the scene in the mirror continued to unfold, Aurelius spoke once more.
"Now, Sebas will destroy this stronghold. By tomorrow, the Eight Fingers will retaliate."
Aurelius's eyes flicked toward Demiurge. "If I summon Solution back tomorrow and Sebas continues to stroll about like this, what do you think will happen?"
Demiurge calmly replied, "The pet that Sebas saved will either be killed... No, she will be kidnapped. The Eight Fingers would lay a trap, using the girl as bait to lure him in and teach him a lesson."
Then thinking of something, he paused and added, "We could use this opportunity to sweep up the Eight Fingers in one fell swoop, taking control of the underworld in the Re-Estize Kingdom with little effort."
Aurelius gave a slight nod of approval.
"Good thinking, Demiurge. You're indeed one of Nazarick's finest minds. At this rate, you may even surpass me, hahaha."
"You flatter me, my Lord. I could never come close to your wisdom."
Demiurge's words weren't mere formality; he truly meant them.
After all, his deduction was a simple one based on the information he'd gathered. But Aurelius… Aurelius saw through it all long before Demiurge had even begun collecting information. He had foreseen Sebas's actions and used Sebas's very behavior to turn the situation to his advantage—all without Sebas even knowing.
And this was likely just the tip of the iceberg.
'Just how far ahead has he planned? Just how much does he see?' Demiurge, often regarded as one of Nazarick's sharpest minds, felt goosebumps spread across his skin. His already boundless reverence for Aurelius shattered another layer of restraint, deepening even more.
However, he wasn't alone in this sentiment. The other floor guardians present shared the same awe, though none more so than Albedo, who bit her lip and clenched her thighs together, her voice escaping in a low, lustful whisper.
"Ahh… my beloved is the best…"
....
After everything unfolded exactly as Aurelius had anticipated, the meeting concluded. He discussed future strategies with Demiurge and made some changes to Demiurge's plan, which was almost the same as that from the original timeline.
Once those discussions were done, Aurelius returned to his office.
Moments later, there was a knock at the door.
Knock! Knock!
"Come in," Aurelius commanded.
The door swung open, revealing a figure in the doorway.
Black and white hair, neatly parted, and mismatched eyes—one black, one white—glistened with excitement as they fixed on Aurelius.
"Master, let's make a baby!"
It was Luna Noctis, formerly Zesshi Zetsumei of the Slane Theocracy. Her face was flushed with desire as she stepped inside. Without hesitation, she sauntered over to him, sitting on his lap and pressing her round, firm ass against his thighs.
Her lips curled into a seductive smile as her tongue slid across them sensuously, and her mismatched eyes gleamed with lust, her breath quickening as her body pressed closer to his.
She let out a soft moan, her movements becoming more deliberate as she shifted against him and slid her hands along his chest.
"Master… I need you."
"So straightforward? Heh, I like it."
