Chapter 47: Please Marry me, Lucifer!
Once again, a brilliant blue aura shone from Excalibur's blade, and Aurelius took a stance.
Chak!
The pressure caused the stream of air to fluctuate in an instant, the roar grew louder, and the shockwave resonated with the land. Witnessing this spectacle, the army of 25,000 Demi-Humans stopped in their tracks, and a chill swept through their hearts.
They wanted to turn around and run. Unfortunately for them, it was already too late. Regret filled their hearts as Aurelius shouted.
"Destruction Sword, Fourth Move: Abyssal Night."
Suddenly, a pitch-black, abyss-like aura enveloped the blade's blue light, and when Aurelius swung his sword, the darkness that swallowed the blue aura began to explode outward.
Boom!
A deep, dark chasm descended upon the 25,000 Demi-Humans.
"Aaaaa!"
"Save me!"
"Oh, no, no, no, no!"
The slash that led to darkness entrapped everyone, cutting off their breath.
Flesh burst, bones shattered, and organs turned to powder, only to regenerate and burst again in an endless cycle.
Torn apart, their bodies and souls endured atrocious pain. But soon, their screams, filled with terror, gradually began to fade.
In the abyss's night sky, death was the greatest mercy.
"It's over."
"It was a truly great blow, Lucifer-sama!"
Narberal was busy praising Aurelius, admiring her beloved lord's might.
However, instead of sharing her elation, Aurelius gazed at the darkly tanned earth with a bored expression.
"As expected, this world is weak. Let's go back, Nabe."
"Yes!"
*****
The Roble Holy Kingdom.
The crystal ball in the Castle of the Roble Holy Kingdom's audience hall reflected the deep darkness that engulfed the demi-human army.
When the darkness receded, there was nothing left except shreds of meat, rivers of blood, and dust of bones.
It was as if the demi-human army was consumed by the terrifying energy of evil emanating from Aurelius's brilliant platinum-colored longsword.
"..."
Silence filled the room as everyone witnessed Aurelius's absolute strength. Until...
"Is that guy a monster?"
Remedios Custodio, the strongest knight of the Roble Holy Kingdom, broke the silence.
Her exclamation sent a ripple through the room, causing the surrounding nobles and paladins to react in shock.
Some even lost control of their bladders when they saw the horrifying scene in the crystal ball.
Half of the army of 50,000 troops had been annihilated in an instant, and the rest followed soon after in another devastating attack. A single being had casually obliterated the group of demi-humans that had long threatened the Holy Kingdom.
Knock! knock!
Before they could get out of their shock, a knock at the door broke the tense atmosphere.
"The adventurers are back!" announced the guard outside.
As the snow-white hinged door slowly opened, two figures entered the audience room: a blonde man with striking beauty, Lucifer, and a sharp-eyed woman with a black ponytail, Nabe.
"The request has been completed. At this level, no demi-humans will dare set foot on this land again for a long time," Aurelius's cool voice resonated.
Nevertheless, due to the overwhelming power that he displayed, the atmosphere was far from festive, despite the success. Quality had decisively beaten quantity.
The Paladins swallowed hard, wary of the returning Aurelius, which immediately made Aurelius frown.
"Don't act recklessly and throw away your lives. If you do something wrong, you might force me to draw my sword," Aurelius warned, glancing around the room.
"I have been rude, Lucifer. I sincerely apologize for my disrespectful behavior towards the hero who saved our country," Queen Calca said, kneeling before Aurelius.
Her actions drew shocked looks from everyone in the audience room.
"Calca-sama!"
"Your Majesty!!"
Remedios shouted, grabbing Calca's delicate arm and pulling her up. With a serious expression on her face, she glared at Aurelius, who ignored her and spoke directly to Calca.
"How foolish, Holy Queen Calca! What the hell was that action just now? Are you mocking me? Act as the ruler of this country. For a sovereign to kneel so recklessly is akin to surrendering this nation."
"I-I didn't mean it that way!" Holy Queen Calca screamed for the first time at Aurelius's scolding.
"Then what did you mean?"
"I apologize to you as a woman, not as a ruler of the Holy Kingdom. I apologize for my rudeness, even if I can't properly thank you. And..." Calca hid her blushing face and blurted out the rest of her words. "Please listen to me, I love you... Please marry me!!"
"What?!" Her sudden declaration surprised Aurelius.
'It's a marriage proposal. Quite bold,' he thought.
But since Aurelius also desired to taste Queen Calca's body, his thoughts ran wild with sadistic pleasure at the prospect.
"Are you serious?"
"Yes, I mean it! I want to marry you!"
"Uh, Your Highness...?" a noble questioned, looking at Holy Queen Calca with a dumbfounded expression. Following this, countless nobles turned their gazes to Calca, their faces etched with disbelief. Marrying an unknown man she had just met was nearly unthinkable.
But Calca ignored it and held her breath, clasping her hands together in anticipation of Aurelius's answer.
"I will marry you," he said.
That single line plunged all of the Roble Holy Kingdom's nobles into chaos.
"Really?!"
"However, I have one condition."
"A condition?" Calca asked, her face full of tension.
"Dedicate everything in this country, including yourself, to me. Then, I will take you as my wife."
The audience room immediately began to stir. The nobles fiercely resisted, and even Remedios, who stood next to Calca, crumpled her face and glared at Aurelius as if she wanted to kill him.
"How disrespectful. Are you spouting nonsense when you're just an adventurer?" Remedios touched the sword hanging from her waist, and Aurelius immediately focused his gaze on her.
"Be mindful of your actions, Remedios. I will kill everyone in this room without mercy if you draw that sword even an inch."
Remedios's left eyebrow twitched at the blatant threat, but she dared not retort. Her pupils trembled, and sweat formed on her forehead as she felt Aurelius' innate pressure weigh down on her being. Her vision blurred, and she felt dizzy in an instant, stumbling as she was about to fall unconscious.
Fortunately for her, before that could happen, Aurelius sighed and raised the corners of his mouth. He drew back his aura, and as the pressure that had held her breath dissipated, Remedios finally exhaled in relief and regained her composure. But she couldn't remove the dread that settled in her heart.
"It's a joke. It's a joke. There's no way I'd do something so rude," he said, shaking his head with a gentle smile. As the tension cooled, he moved to leave the throne room.
'That man is dangerous. I just felt that he wasn't kidding. He would have really annihilated everyone here...' Remedios thought instinctively.
She was the strongest knight of the Holy Kingdom, and her senses told her that Aurelius' behavior was far from a mere joke. Had she been a little careless...
Gulp!
She couldn't even dare imagine the consequences.
"Lucifer!"
Meanwhile, unaware of how her loyal knight and best friend had just come back from death's door, Calca's trembling eyes turned to Aurelius, who was about to leave, but he didn't even turn back to look at her.
"Let's pretend there was no marriage. I, a mere adventurer, and you, a member of the royal family, don't match," he declared.
At those words, Calca seemed to collapse. She knew this harsh reality all too well. It was a love that could never come true.
But Calca did not give up.
She couldn't.
She felt that if she missed this chance, she would regret it forever. Wearing a snow-white dress, her beautiful platinum hair gleamed as tears flowed down her jade-like cheeks, wetting the floor.
"It's not impossible!" she cried out. His back was getting farther and farther away, and she couldn't bear it any longer, so she ran towards Aurelius.
The pain of her breaking heart was too much to endure, so she wrapped her arms around his waist to prevent him from leaving and hugged him tightly.
"Calca-sama!" Remedios called out, and the aristocrats whispered among themselves, but Calca ignored them all.
"Don't go! I can't let you go like this! I adore you! I love you! Please don't leave me!"
Calca's earnest cry struck Aurelius's eardrums. Her clear eyes, filled with desperation, reflected on his silver armor.
"Why am I so important to you? We have met for the first time today," Aurelius said, finally stopping and looking down at Calca with a benevolent expression.
Amidst the whispers, Calca could clearly hear only Aurelius's words, and she replied without hesitation.
"I felt it was destiny. The moment I saw you, I felt the fruits of my destiny. If it weren't for you... I would never marry anyone… No, I could feel that I would die if not for you. Only you, Lucifer, are my soulmate!" Calca's beautiful face turned red. It was her first earnest confession, desperately conveyed to Aurelius.
Aurelius sighed deeply as he looked at Calca's exquisite beauty. He couldn't understand how she had such keen instincts.
'Maybe she has some secret talent related to destiny or the future that wasn't shown in the original story,' he thought, looking at her desperation.
In fact, he knew his Charm stats would surely affect her, but he had other plans to get her. He never expected this outcome to unfold as it did.
But since it was all in his favor, he accepted it graciously. Of course, some acting was still necessary.
"Then, what do you mean? I'm from a foreign country. I can't stay here. You're the queen. Do you want me to remain here as your consort?" he asked.
"It's not like that. But I can't be without you," Calca replied.
"Then, let's do this. It's impossible to marry you right now. So let's take a moment and raise a child," he suggested, introducing the idea of training their successor to leave room for Calca.
"Does that mean premarital pregnancy?" Calca asked with trembling eyes.
"Yes. With my child, you won't have to worry about losing me or marriage for now. The ruler would still be your blood line, and you could still live with me in the future."
On the outside, Aurelius appeared to be serious, but on the inside, he was grinning slyly. To be honest, Calca's figure was really captivating; her plump thighs and bulging breasts made his cock harden.
He wanted to eat her quickly and get her pregnant.
