Chapter 34: Chapter 34
Peter's sensitive ears caught some commotion coming from the Central Park Zoo. At this time of the night, it was supposed to be empty, so there was only one possible explanation. "It seems that there are some problems at the zoo!" He yelled at the communicator and then just swayed over there.
"Call if you need reinforcement!" White Tiger finally said with a cold and serious tone.
Just in a second, Peter was almost in a situation where all the chaos was happening. The boy landed in the famous zoo that was massive; it was basically a small town with each house having its own animal cage. Some of them had space, but lucky they were only birds and some other monkeys. There was the sight of a fight in that place, broken bending machines, trash all over the place, etc, as the neon white lights shone over the dark gravel roads. Some security guards were trying to get away, but it was more than sure that the police would take their sweet time to arrive since this was a low-priority target.
Looming over one of the bird cages and looking into the street, there was an intimidating figure floating in the air five meters over the broken metal fences.
Four bright golden eyes in a crimson canvas with a red jewel in the middle of the forehead looked at the street. The girl's short white hair contrasted perfectly with that red skin as four horns came out of her forehead. Dressed in a black leotard and a long purple cape that floated around her like mist, sheer demonic energy exuded from her. It was this red and black aura that twisted the air around her in jagged spirals as she levitated over the broken fence. However, not even all those demonic deformities could distract from the true charm of that woman: her ass. Such a perfect and big red posterior that was even bigger than Gwen's. Massive, soft, without a single fiber of muscles, making the perfect pillows or slapping bags. The swimsuit-style suit she was wearing made it look even bigger with that black line of fabric cutting it in half right in the middle of the crack and framing it like a perfect picture.
"Spiderman to the scene to avoid a devious villain uplifting these poor animals into sentient mutant goons!" Peter exclaimed and took the girl's attention, who quickly turned around to see him.
He stood right on top of one of the light streets of the zoo as he looked over the strange demon. "Oh, hey there! Did it hurt when you fell from heaven? Because you look like a fallen angel," the tall and muscular man asked while squatting over the metal tower.
The woman smirked at Peter; her long white fangs shone under the moonlight mixed with the city lights. "You are a lucky one . . . I and my sisters have a preference for the funny ones . . . sell your soul to me and I will spare you," she offered with pure malice drenched each word. However, then the boy spider senses were triggered as the creature radiated pure magic, an aura of terror and intimidation that would make a normal person faint. However, Peter's brain chemical balance was already so molested by Venom that it didn't affect him.
"Sorry, I already sold that to her," the boy said with a campy tone and pointed to the black snake coming out of her shoulder.
("This is interesting . . . I have no recollection of this person,") Venom muttered to herself as she could only recognize some kind of demonic energy oozing from the girl, nothing else.
"So tell me, what is a girl like you doing in a place like this . . ." the alien asked with an equally toothy grin to the demon girl.
The woman's face twisted from one of happiness and amusement to one of pure discord and annoyance. "I don't have any interest in people that will not serve my father or me, so if you don't want to give me your soul! I will rip it out of your corpse! " The demon girl yelled, and from under her cape, multiple tendrils made out of the compressed red and black energy pounced toward Peter.
He managed to dodge it, but the second they impacted the light post, the steel got bent like it was just a silly straw. It was clear that the demon packed a punch on those attacks.
"Oh, really a daddy's girl? So let me guess you want to conquer the earth for your big bargain bin Satan, father figure?" Peter yelled as he jumped all over the place, gracefully evading each attack of the girl.
He shot some webs at the demon to test her defenses, but she quickly blocked them by grabbing a nearby trash can with that dark energy. She then took flight high in the sky, grabbing dozens of small rocks to use as projectiles against the hero.
"Don't you dare to mock the almighty Trigon! When he arrives, the seas will boil! The rivers will become red! The sky will burn! I will sit over a throne of skulls made out of your pathetic civilization," she yelled, shooting Peter with the same amount of firepower that a submachine gun would have.
It was not a match for the boy spider's senses as he dodged each attack, jumping all over the place. He tried to hinder her movements by not using bigger objects, grabbing chairs, and throwing them. It was a constant barrage of projectiles, the second that Peter got far and the second that the spider jumped into melee range, massive tentacles protected the girl.
The demon stabbed the ground with her tentacles, trying to use the floor as a screen to hide her attacks as dozens of small tendrils came out of the gravel to impale Peter but with his spider senses, he managed to dodge each of them. However, even if the ground was not a safe place anymore, that didn't stop the hero from counterattacking.
He grabbed some smoke bombs from his hammer space and threw them toward the villain, creating a thick layer of fog that would hide his attack in theory as Venom shot a rain of thick webs. However, the girl managed to also dodge them since even if her eyes couldn't see, her magic allowed the demon to sense the sheer hostility oozing from those attacks. Peter didn't know it, but that creature could read emotions and sense the position of the man.
As the fog vanished and Peter realized that the demon could see across it, he had another idea about how to deal with her. "Damn, that is some scary stuff! Would you not prefer sitting on my lap? You can even call me Daddy if you want!" He jumped forward, trying to kick her in the chest, but the girl quickly grabbed his legs. Before the magic tendril could slam him on the floor, from the black goo that made the suit, a homemade spider drone jumped out of it. The tiny red robot crawled toward the woman's face, forcing her to pay attention to the mechanical insect enough time for Peter to bind her legs and arms with a web.
She quickly destroyed the bot with another tentacle, but now it was time to test the strength of the two. What would be stronger, the black webs or the ebony tendrils? With her legs and arms firmly secure and grabbing his feet with one of her tentacles, the tug of war started as Peter shot another web to the ground. Using his body as another link on the chain, the athletic hero tensed his muscles and tendons and pushed down, forcing him to slam on the floor with him. However, the man trusted that his durability was bigger than hers.
A loud crack was heard as the demon girl slammed into the ground with such strength that air was forced out of her lungs. However, Peter just summoned a bunch of goo to cushion the fall.
She was taken out of focus for a second, enough for Peter to escape her grasp and land two powerful strikes on her. A punch on her stomach and a kick on her head. She only managed to summon some small black telekinesis shields to block the attacks, but they cracked as drywall.
Angered and hurt by the situation, a massive torrent of black energy broke the binding on her body. "Enough!" She yelled as it was clear from her ragged breath that the demon had suffered some damage. Those ebony fists and feet carried a big punch.
"You have proven to be a powerful warrior! I will corrupt your soul and flesh and turn you into a demonic servant! I will make you a great tool to use against the people you love so much," she snarled, showing her teeth and arching her back like some kind of wild animal.
With sheer rage and desire for conquest, this demon no longer wanted to kill Peter, she wanted to own him.
