One Piece : Winged Dragons of the Beast Pirates

Chapter 12: Chapter 11 : Angry Yamato!!

"Samurai, never surrender!"

That was the resolute declaration from Hyogoro.

Even in his dire situation, Hyogoro's unwavering bravery and courage earned Ian's admiration.

"In that case,"

Ian slowly approached Hyogoro, raising his hand. Despite the physical toll it took on him, he managed to conjure a flame in his palm and aimed it directly at Hyogoro.

He surveyed the surrounding samurai, "It's up to you now—surrender or watch your leader perish."

"There's no chance of winning. If you surrender now, you might still save your lives."

"Huh?"

Before the samurai could react, Yamato shouted, "Ian! That's so despicable!"

What do you know about it? Ian sneered.

Threatening the lives of good people to coerce is a classic tactic for pirates, one that's often employed.

Then he realized—he was indeed a villain.

The mood became tense and conflicted.

"Stop! Stop!"

Ian's strategy had clearly taken effect.

The samurai cried out anxiously, "Don't hurt Boss Hyogoro!"

"Then show me you're serious!"

Ian kicked the weakened Hyogoro to the ground and aimed the fireball at his head. "What will you do?"

"Graaaw!!"

At that moment, Erya roared, and the massive mace struck the ground, causing the entire courtyard to tremble.

The samurai's faces went pale.

They watched as Boss Hyogoro, now on the ground, struggled weakly.

But it was over, right? At least let Boss Hyogoro survive!

Then, the sound of weapons clattering to the ground filled the air as the warriors dropped their arms.

The battle was over.

Hyogoro had lost his ability to resist. His body was battered by Ian's fierce flames. Though Hyogoro could withstand the combined might of Kaido and Charlotte Linlin in the future but right now he wasn't at that level yet, not to mention the flames were infused with destructive magical power.

Without using Armament Haki, even Kaido would be burned.

With no chance to evade Ian's divine flame, the outcome was inevitable.

After Hyogoro's defeat, his ronin group lost their resolve, and the samurai had no choice but to surrender under Ian's threat.

"I hope you keep your promise!"

The ronins glared at Ian fiercely, "Don't kill Boss Hyogoro!"

Ian sighed softly.

Didn't you ever consider the option of laying down your arms and regretting your actions?

It seems that even the decent characters in this world are at a loss for words.

The situation with these samurai is just as confusing as it sounds.

Fukurokuju has already instructed the ninjas to step forward and subdue the samurai one by one.

The large, bald-headed man let out a sigh of relief. It ended much faster and easier than he had anticipated.

He glanced at Ian, who had returned to his usual self.

What kind of monster is this teenager? It's not just him; even the ronins are taken aback by Ian's youth.

Still just a kid!

The dust had settled.

"These guys don't seem to be bad people."

Yamato walked over to Ian's side, observing the samurai with their gloomy expressions.

The leader chose to surrender to protect them, and Yamato couldn't help but appreciate such values.

"Is that so?"

Ian sat on a stone in the courtyard, regaining his strength. Despite the short duration of the battle, his use of the Immortal Phoenix Form and the Sun God's Wrath had taken a significant toll.

"We're the bad guys."

"Hahaha, we're the bad guys?"

Yamato gave Ian's shoulder a playful slap, laughing, "Ian, you're really joking! We're pirates!"

The term "pirates" can't be simply categorized as good or bad; they are individuals who follow their own desires.

This is the concept that Kaido has always emphasized.

Ian didn't offer any comment.

"Thank you both for your help!"

Kurozumi Semimaru, who had been sent to protect Ian and his group but hadn't been needed, approached trembling and said respectfully, "Your strength is truly impressive!"

"Please accompany me back to the castle tower now. Shogun Orochi will prepare a grand banquet in your honor."

Ian turned to look at Yamato.

"That guy is really irritating, but—"

Yamato touched his stomach and pouted. "I'm hungry."

"Then lead the way," Ian said as he stood up.

Kurozumi Orochi may be unpleasant, but at least the food is good.

"Yes!"

Kurozumi Semimaru breathed a sigh of relief. He knew he had to persuade Orochi later.

These two kids are Kaido's daughters and disciples, future leaders of the Beasts Pirates. As long as the country needs the protection of the Beast Pirates, there must be no conflict with them.

The ninjas escorted the captured samurai out of the ruined courtyard and towards the castle tower.

Along the way, the people of the Flower Capital were shocked to see the captured samurai.

"That's Hyogoro of the Flower, right?"

"Did Shogun Orochi do something to Boss Hyougoro? What's going on?"

Hyogoro has a high reputation in the Flower Capital, and the people were puzzled by the situation.

Of course, no one could answer their questions at the moment.

The group soon arrived outside the castle tower.

"Goohehehehe!"

Kurozumi Orochi hurried out through the gate. He glanced at Erya, who was standing like a giant, then looked up at Ian and the two on Erya's head.

"Well done, you two little brats! You really managed to capture Hyogoro!"

Yamato frowned and looked at Ian. "Ian, this guy is still incredibly annoying! Can I take him on?"

Ian shrugged. Orochi really didn't have any self-awareness.

Ignoring Yamato's reaction, Orochi walked quickly to the captured samurai, standing before Hyogoro, who was carried on a door panel.

"Hehehehehe! Hyogoro! Look at you now, you fool!"

Orochi kicked the door panel with no regard, causing Hyougoro, paralyzed and unable to move, to collapse awkwardly to the ground. Hyougoro could only glare up at him helplessly.

"Dare to stare at Shogun, do you?"

Orochi was visibly annoyed by Hyougoro's defiant gaze. He stepped forward and trampled on Hyogoro's face with his foot. "You dare to refuse Shogun Orochi's invitation repeatedly! Now you'll see the consequences!"

Orochi laughed arrogantly, continuously lifting his foot and stomping down on Hyogoro.

"Stop! You monster!"

The captured samurai were in shock. "Are you breaking your promise?"

Their anger did nothing to deter Orochi; if anything, it made him even more smug.

Orochi's face twisted with rage, his smile turning into a snarl. "This country, which has caused the Kurozumi clan so much suffering, deserves this! Damn it!"

"Mahoroba!!"

A dark shadow suddenly loomed from above.

"Huh?"

Orochi looked up in confusion just as the ice-covered mace crashed into his forehead.

"Wow!"

Before he could even scream, Orochi's head was forcefully driven into the ground.

"I've had enough!"

Yamato, once again transformed into a werewolf, stomped on Orochi's back and raised his mace high. "This vile creature needs to be flattened!"

Ian had promised the samurai he wouldn't harm Hyogoro any further. Is this scoundrel trying to make Ian break his word?

"Lord Orochi!"

Fukurokuju, Kurozumi Semimaru, and Kurozumi Higurashi all felt their expressions shift in alarm, their instincts urging them to intervene.

But just then, the massive mace descended from the air with immense force, shattering the ground and forcing the three of them to retreat.

Standing atop the giant who wielded the mace, Ian spoke with unwavering calm, "One step further, and you will be opposing the Beast Pirates."

"Quack!!"

The giant lifted his iron rod in a swift motion.

Orochi's subordinates fell into an uneasy silence.

Enemies of the Beast Pirates?

None dared to make a move.

They could only watch as Yamato's iron rod came crashing down onto Orochi's body once more.

Don't blame us, Lord Orochi.

Kurozumi Higurashi felt helpless inside.

Anyway, your strength should be able to endure this.
