One Piece : Winged Dragons of the Beast Pirates

Chapter 106: Chapter 80 : Doflamingo's Plan!!

Inside the Donquixote family's castle, a banquet to welcome Ian and the others was already underway.

At the same time, in a certain restroom…

A man named Donquixote Rosinante was holding a Den Den Mushi and speaking with someone.

"Mr. Sengoku, Ian and Doflamingo had a brief clash, but the two quickly called a truce. Now, Doflamingo is hosting a feast for Ian."

"It's hard to believe. Doflamingo who has no respect for anyone and does whatever he pleases actually swallows his pride in front of Ian. He was beaten to a pulp by Ian, but still gets along with him as if nothing happened."

If any of the Donquixote family members were to witness this, they'd be utterly shocked.

Wasn't Rosinante supposed to be mute?

"That's Ian the Skyfire. Kaido's disciple. Doflamingo knows that when he faces someone stronger and more ruthless than him, his best option is to play it safe."

A deep voice came from Den Den Mushi's other end.

"However, if Doflamingo ends up working with the Beast Pirates, he'll become even more dangerous."

"Mr. Sengoku, should we seize this opportunity?"

Rosinante said seriously, "Should we catch both Doflamingo and Ian in one go?"

"It's not that simple," Sengoku immediately rejected his suggestion. "Capturing Ian isn't that hard, but wanting to capture Kaido's disciple and daughter? The Beast Pirates would go wild."

"That man is nothing like Whitebeard. He has no bottom line. We don't know how many people would die because of his wrath."

"I need to discuss this with the higher-ups."

Rosinante furrowed his brow.

Right.

What if Kaido starts causing chaos in the World Government's member countries? That man is certainly capable of doing such a thing.

"As for Doflamingo, about the matter you mentioned a few days ago, Tsuru has already dealt with it. Just stay careful yourself."

"Understood."

After hanging up, Rosinante put the Den Den Mushi away and sat on the toilet, calmly lighting a cigarette.

"Wow!"

He suddenly let out a loud shout, realizing that he had accidentally set his hair on fire because the lighter's flame was too large.

But what was strange was that, even though he was yelling so loudly in the bathroom, no sound was escaping into the outside world.

After quickly fixing himself, Rosinante walked out of the bathroom and headed toward the banquet hall.

Before he even opened the door, the lively noise from inside was already clearly audible.

Rosinante pushed open the door.

High-ranking members of the Donquixote family and the Beasts Pirates were seated around a ridiculously long table, feasting and eating heartily.

"Rosinante, you little brat," Donquixote Doflamingo, sitting at the head of the table and happily drinking with Ian, shot an annoyed glance at his younger brother. "I thought you fell into the toilet after taking so long."

He was supposed to be the younger brother, but with a distinguished guest present, Rosinante had been absent for so long.

Rosinante gave a bitter smile, raising his hand to point at his burnt hair.

"Heh, heh, heh! You should be more careful sometimes!"

Doflamingo laughed heartily.

His brother was always so reckless.

Ian, who was watching, found it quite amusing.

Donquixote Rosinante.

Unlike the inherently wicked Doflamingo, this kid had inherited their parents' kindness.

He was an undercover agent placed by Admiral Sengoku within the Donquixote family. But in the original story, he even deceived the Navy for the sake of Law.

All in all, he was a good person.

Rosinante felt a bit uneasy under Ian's intense gaze.

If he weren't absolutely certain that he had never met this young man before, Rosinante might have suspected that Ian had figured out his undercover identity.

"Don't mind him," Doflamingo also noticed Ian's gaze and laughed. "This kid's not too bright."

"I'm good at talking to people who aren't too bright."

"Is that so?"

Ian just smiled lightly.

"Next, Ian, let me show you how I would help you sell weapons," Doflamingo said, decisively shifting the conversation away from his foolish brother to the matter at hand.

"Oh?" Ian raised an eyebrow. "Do tell."

"Hehehe, Umit," Doflamingo turned to look at Umit, who was sitting on the other side of him. "When do you think is the best time to buy weapons?"

At that moment, Umit was tearing into a massive steak, eating with the brutish vigor of a bear snatching up food. He grinned widely and said, "Well, that's obviously during a war!"

Indeed, participants in wars rarely lack weapons.

"But," Doflamingo continued, "what if there's no war?"

"Isn't that easier?" Umit said matter-of-factly. "Then you just start a war!"

"Hehehe! Exactly! That's it!" Doflamingo burst into loud laughter, slamming his hand on the table, laughing so hard he almost fell over. "Is there anything simpler than starting a war? Humans are the best at killing each other!"

Drake, who had been eating fervently, nearly choked on his food. His muscles froze, and he looked up in disbelief, staring at Doflamingo in shock.

Start a war?

To sell weapons, they'd start a war?

How insane were these guys?!

But, there was nothing he could do about it.

He could only silently continue eating.

"Oh, that sounds good," Ian nodded lightly.

It wasn't exactly a shocking idea.

In fact, weapons should be sold this way.

Wasn't this exactly how the arms tycoons from the previous life operated?

Ian looked at Doflamingo. "So, Doffy, when are you going to start showing me?"

"Actually, just a few days ago, in a nearby country, war has already started," Doflamingo chuckled. "We'll be able to check out the battlefield tomorrow."

Rosinante pursed his lips.

This was what Mr. Sengoku had mentioned earlier.

Doflamingo had spent some effort stirring up war in a nearby country.

It was easy to predict that, with the cooperation with the Beasts Pirates gradually expanding, such events would only increase.

Currently, it's still a non-member country, but what about in the future?

So, he must be stopped!

"Tomorrow?" Ian grinned. "Since we're in a rush, why don't we just go right now?"

Huh?

Doflamingo was confused, not understanding why Ian was so eager.

What he didn't know was that Ian was actually worried for him.

Rosinante had probably already reported this to the Navy, and it's possible the Navy had already begun to act.

Ian really disliked complications—better to take care of it and head back sooner.

"If you think so, then I'm fine with that," Doflamingo nodded.

After the lively feast, Ian and his group boarded the Donquixote family's ship and set sail overseas.

After sailing for half a day, around dusk, an island appeared on the horizon.

On the coast, there was a city.

Even from a distance, they could clearly see continuous explosions within the city, with flashes of fire accompanied by thick black smoke. From afar, it looked like an apocalyptic scene.

"Actually, it's not that difficult,"

Doflamingo burst into loud laughter. "There are countless ambitious people in this world. Why should you become king, while I'm the one who's trampled underfoot?"

"Sometimes, all it takes is a little push, and all the suppressed emotions will explode out!"

"I found a general with real power in this country, and it was easy to make him believe that I would help him take over the country. Then, I led him to start a rebellion."

Ian nodded gently.

"So, will you help him take the country?"

"Heh heh heh... If he takes the country, how will the war continue?"

Doflamingo chuckled darkly. "If the war can't continue, who are we supposed to sell our weapons to?"

"Genius."

Ian commented.

This wasn't just brilliance, this was pure genius.

And he understood sustainable development.

"Next, let's head to the island and take a look," Doflamingo said. "At the very least, I need to prove that this war just started a few days ago, and indeed, I've been the one pushing it forward."

He wanted to prove that he wasn't just pulling the strings in some random war-ravaged country to deceive Ian.

He wanted to show that he had the power to easily spark a civil war within a country!

"Sure."

Ian agreed happily.

He had yet to see what an ordinary war looked like.

"It sounds like it could be fun," Yamato added.

At the same time, they both landed.

However, neither Ian nor Doflamingo knew that, at that very moment, not too far from the island, several warships were rapidly cutting through the waters.

At the bow of one of the ships stood an energetic elderly woman, arms crossed over her chest. She wore a blue shirt and a navy justice coat, exuding an air of strength. She was quietly lost in thought.

"That bastard Doflamingo actually managed to make a deal with the Beast Pirates?!"

Standing next to the elderly woman was another female Marine. She had long black hair, wore a red sleeveless top, and ultra-short denim shorts that perfectly accentuated her alluring figure.

She, too, wore the Marine Justice coat, and a long sword was strapped to her waist. Her fair hands rested on her slim waist, and she spoke with a hint of irritation, "This time, let's take advantage of the situation and capture them all at once! Whether it's Doflamingo or Ian the Skyfire, those scoundrels should be sent straight to Impel Down!"

The elderly woman, Vice Admiral Tsuru, remained calm as she replied, "It's not that simple, Gion."
