Day 12
Dear diary,
You must have really liked that cracker, there's not a crumb left!
Goodman's really anxious. I woke up this morning and he was mumbling to himself in the corner. He only ever does that when he's anxious. He's also boarded up the widows and barricaded the doors. He says the burning men are going to do a sweep of the perimeter. Whatever that means. But basically we have to be quiet until they pass. I haven't seen them yet but Goodman says they're nearly here.
The sleeping people are weirdly quiet today. I peaked outside and there are less of them than before. The explosions must have scared them so much they ran away.
Oh, and my arm doesn't hurt so much anymore. Goodman says the swelling wen't down a little. We're still going to get it looked at in the base when we get there. But he says it might get better before then.
Love,
Tina
