He knew it was bad, and he immediately drew out a small bottle from his pocket with shaking hands, swallowed one of the little red pills inside, and then leaned over and laid down across his table.

Fei Liu remembered that things were very bad every time Su gege took this kind of medicine, and, out of his mind with fear, he circled around him a few times and then suddenly rushed out of the house, crying loudly, “Water buffalo! Water buffalo!”

*At this point, it’s worthwhile pointing out that MCS was staying in the “West room”, while XJY, as the lord & master was staying in the “East room”. As such, XJY could clearly see the goings-on surrounding MCS’s room (not that he deliberately stalked him).
